My experience with Oyester Homes is very bad and I recommend not to get any property from them. No MORAL values, poor business ethics and very poor customer service. They promised to do but failed to deliver. On papers they do the work but in reality they are not upto the mark.
If I had known this earlier I would not have booked flat in their project.
My rating for Oyester homes for their customer service would be 0 out of 10.
In July 2012 I booked a flat in their project named " STARSHINE" located at Periyapanichery. They promised to finish the construction in one year but they gave me the flat in February 2014.
In May 2014 the plaster of the ceiling fell down and damaged my furniture. By GOD's grace nobody was there at that time inside the house otherwise it would have for sure caused an injury or a fatal accident. I am attaching the photos which you can see for your reference.
It was a near miss and we luckily escaped from  this mishap. The MD accepted his lack of supervision and while on inspecting other room's ceiling it was shocking to see that there also the plaster was found to be weak. Everything was removed off and for one full week we had to stay in dust. All the things inside the house were dirty. POOR CONSTRUCTION.
Mr. MD gave a casual statement that such incidents happen one in a million.
As a customer do I need this justification from the builder? All his staff people were present along with him when he said this. Will you expect such answers from the MD of a concern like this?
The builders did only repair work for the ceiling and MD promised me to give the compensation for the damaged things. But till now they never gave me compensation for the damaged items. Incident happened in the month of May and till October they never bothered to give me anything. On asking them they are telling that they won't give me any compensation since because their business is running from loss. So out of frustration I sent a legal notice to them and now I am in a process of moving to consumer court seeking the compensation for the mental agony and depression which they have given me. Right now I am staying inside the house with constant fear.
Apart from this the FLAT is in complete deviation from the approved plan. As per approval which they got from CMDA, FLAT is suppose to have balcony in master bedroom and utility area in Kitchen but they handed over to me a flat which is neither having balcony nor utility.  This is because they had issues with the backside neighbors and without taking my permission the builders blocked the utility and balcony space because of the fear.
As a customer I have suffered and still they are making me to suffer. Poor drainage, poor quality construction. These are all their attributes. I don't have anything positive to tell about them.
I never imagined that My first DREAM home will be like this.
Everybody say HOUSE is a place where there is safety but my house is safe or not GOD only knows.
Really I am very much depressed by them.  I pray to almighty GOD that customers like me who invest so much of money for their first dream home should not fall prey to this kind of builders who have no respect for customer's hard earned money.
This is another recent experience I had with OYESTER HOMES last month.
Due to increase in the rate of interest in the housing loan, I wanted to shift the housing loan which I have taken from LICHFL to PNBHFL. For this process, the bank executive asked me the mother documents and copy of the approved building plan.
At the time of handing over the House keys, every builder is suppose to handover a set of legal documents and building plan copy to the customer but Oyester Homes didn't give the documents to any of the owner of the FLAT.
When I approached OYESTER Homes, Mr. MD told me to withdraw the case and remove the content from this website on which I had written about their poor customer service.
I told him that I cannot withdraw the case until you handover to me the documents and compensate me in a proper manner.
I have given him a mail regarding all the compensation details but still he is not responding to it.
I have told Mr. MD in the mail that I don't want your flat and you can keep it with yourself.
For this also he has not responded to me in any manner
His concern has done all wrong practices and Mr. MD is demanding me to withdraw the case.
His advocate has advised him not to handover the documents to me until I withdraw the case.
Now is it I who did wrong to them or they did wrong to me?
Just because he is not handing over to me the documents, my loan application for balance transfer for interest rate reduction is pending.
This shows the ethics of a company which claims to provide good customer service.
Anyways I have already filed a consumer case on OYESTER HOMES and going to file another case on them of not handing over the documents which has cause my loan application to be cancelled.
