I booked an Optima Flat( 11/2 BHK) with Lodha builder and since I booked couple of my friends and relatives booked their flat with me. I wanted to pay them after visiting and seeing the progress of construction. I was told that it will be a safety issue for us to visit site hence they don't allow any of their customers to visit the site. In spite of this reservation at back of mind I wanted to pay them, but they informed me that my allotment is cancelled.
I had paid the booking amount and had paid first few instalments and also stamp duty & registration charges to the government. I had told them that I am an ex servicemen and they need to treat us with respect and dignity, their staff were thorough unprofessional and had no remorse for the way they dealt with me. I feel very sorry for my friends and relatives who blindly followed me on the project.
I asked them hard questions like you penalize your customer for payment delays and what if you delay the possession( All Casa projects in Dombivali are delayed) I would like to know how come actors like Amitabh Bachchan advertise for this builder when so many Mumbaikars are having problem with this builder, was surprised to see so many complaints on the net.
