Jaypee might be a big name in Mayavi Uttar Pradesh and they are spinning dream after dream in bringing out new and innovative township, be it Wish Town/ Sports City/ Hi-way City to name a few.
But all these beautiful dreams are still on paper.and people are lapping these paper dreams. Unfortunately, I am one of the idiot who was conned into one of their project called Jaypee KOSMOS.
In September first week, I booked a particular apartment in a building facing golf course. My broker who runs Jaypee Boutique at South Delhi gave me an attractive rate and I was happy celebrating my booking my dream getaway with my wife.
In second week of November(two months later from date of booking), I got a call from Customer Service at Jaypee Greens, saying that there is some confusion regarding my application for booking. I was shell shocked, as I had redeemed my mutual funds only to pay for my up-coming second installment; and here was a lady at builder office telling me that they have not processed my application till now.
Then the customer service lady explained to me how the fault lie in me, my broker, our time of booking and our damn luck and how Jaypee is here to provide me with redemption by offering me a totally non-vastu compliant apartment at least desired location in lieu of an apartment I booked.
As per her, it was a case of doubling(?). Poor me, had to ask' madam yeh doubling kya hota hai?'.(I don't book houses everyday, you see) It means, that the apartment has been booked twice.(And you thought something else.very naughty, I must say!)
She told me that the apartment I had booked has been alloted to NRI, whose money they received via transfer. So I asked her to tell me, whose money did they receive first; that person should get the priority in getting the apartment. But these questions have never been answered till now. No explanation has ever been given by Jaypee as to how and why this mistake has happen.
For past one month, I am running between pillar and post. I have been calling Customer service, nearly everyday. One customer service person will ask you to talk to another one and so on, till you get tired of repeating your story. In Jaypee nobody seems to be responsible for anything. They now refuse to pick the phone or blame the entire thing as over booking.(Well never thought, I am booking such a hot property - Emaar, Unitech and DLF you guys will soon close town as Jaypee is here).
Since the time I came to know that, I am not the only case of Doubling in Jaypee Kosmos; there are many like me; I realize that Jaypee delays allotment letter by atleast 3-4 months. In this time, if they get a good rate on a flat, they resell it and make the original allottee as a doubling case; offering him apartment at less suitable location.
At Jaypee office, nobody will talk to you. They will tell you to go and talk to your broker.(They are very busy selling Jaypee Sports city.which is 200 light years away in terms of distance and development- but that is another story). If you want to register your complaint and want to give any written communication; nobody will accept it in the office or at broker; even if they take it, they will flatly deny to to give you a acceptance seal on the duplicate; so that they can deny any communication at a later date.
After this horrifing experience at the beginning of the project, I am afraid to think, what all trouble and hell will I have to go for getting a built apartment at Kosmos. Or will it remain only a wish.after all Jaypee named it aptly'Wish Town'.
