This is where I witnessed first-hand this come to life at the “Unleash the Star in You” program where Gera partnered with Dale Carnegie, one of the best brands in Training and Development to build a specific program to ensure effective skill, attitudinal and behavioral training to the children of Gera’s community of young residents.
During the program, these older children and young adults had complete immersion into techniques that got them to break through all possible barriers of shyness and diffidence and eventually communicate with complete self-confidence and conviction. The day’s discoveries ended in a crescendo where the transformation can be best described as amazing in witnessing the children and participants showcasing their vision on chart paper through a futuristic perspective of where they see themselves. What was astonishing was their ability to express themselves with amazing clarity and this being done with conviction in front of their parents.
