Eden Group is one of the so called honest builders in Kolkata, however, please do not fall prey into the tag lines. The quality of construction is one of the worst, within one year of purchase it the walls started cracking, tiles started breaking, almost all the walls have damps. Customer service at the pathetic best. Nobody heeds to the customer in their organisation.
The quality of material provided lasts for one year only. Initially they have declared Eden Tolly Signature with 228 flats, then they added few blocks to make it 300 flats then now they made it to 350+ flats with change of name Tolly Signature Plus. In all these cases they are claiming same super built up area from all these customers.
End of the day Eden is getting benefitted, selling the same area thrice to the customers. Beware, before purchasing a flat in EDEN TOLLY SIGNATURE/ TOLLY SIGNATURE PLUS.you are paying more and getting less.

I have booked a flat at Eden Astor park, but now I realised the importance that the sale agreement has. I have booked this flat whose amount has been decided based upon the super built up area but in the sale agreement it has been drafted that the rights of the open terrace (roof) has been vested upon the vendor, i.e. the vendor can put up hoardings, neon posters and can even build up floors above it.
Million dollar question is if few floors are added later then my super built up area (carpet area + common spaces) for the above mentioned flat would automatically reduce because the common area is equally divided among total number of flats.Then would I get my money back (with interest) for reduced super built up area.

I have taken a flat with Eden, customer service is nice to talk and gets back in time, but communication with site people is not so good the office area is very congested and uncomfortable, very difficult to talk and clear everything.
My son in law had a very bad experience with another builder, Eden is better than them, but needs to improve. Some possession problems are there, they need to solve it faster.

There is no +ve for Eden group. They promise something and you get the opposite. Their overall project implementation is poor. No quality control or site control.
They have even changed one contractor for Greenwood. Various people have worked at various times to make the project a mess.

I have bought a apartment in Eden Tolly Signature . Its under construction now and will be ready for possession by July or August 2013. Really happy with the Quality of the product, plan and the wide varieties of amenities they are providing in this community at a very reasonable price.
Also I have around 30% return on my investment from this property within a year and half if I calculate the market value now.
The customer care is really friendly and answers all your queries in person or by mailing back to your questions with a quick turn around.
They also gives you lot of flexibility in changing the plan of the apartment according to your need if permitted within the construction plan.

If you are an Eden Group Kolkata customer please be careful on construction quality.
I have booked a flat in EDEN TOLLY GREENWOOD project. When I visited site recently I found that their construction quality is terribly bad. Water is soaking in the walls and clear damp is seen. Also the bathroom connections are not done as per drawing. As per my interaction with the group over last 2 years I have seen 3-4 change in site engineer and I am sure their was not check done by their head office. It was totally run locally by site contractor at their quality.
If you are a customer, PLEASE CHECK YOUR CONSTRUCTION regularly on site. Its your money and please take care of it

Being new to Kolkata I was roaming like a headless chicken going from pillar to post for a flat. Among so many real estate company Eden was the only one that appealed to me the most. I have booked an apartment at Eden Tolly Signature. The apartment is Vastu complaint and so I booked it. We have built our dream house here.The amenities are good and easy access. The locality is good. I like the house very much.
I am a normal middle-class person. Having a home in a city of my own means a lot to me. Thank you Eden Group for helping me live my dream.
