Wings PowerPods

I have been using this product for around two months, this not really good and lot of things that need some improvement in this product.

1. A lot of times the charge percent on the charging box stays 100 percent and never reduces. And then it suddenly becomes discharged.

   
   




2. Similarly, once or twice, the pods also gave no battery warning even though I had charged them fully and the charging box was showing 100 percent.

   
   




3. Once disconnected I have to try multiple times before they connect again . Very very irritating and a trait of low quality.

   
   




4. The touch controls are too sensitive and badly placed. They get triggered even when you are just removing the buds or wearing them again.

   
   




5. The sound at high pitch is very discomforting, like nails on a blackboard.

   
   




6. When I remove them, the music starts playing on my laptop instead.

   
   




7. Connectivity issue, Bluetooth range is less than 10 meter.

   
   




8. Call quality is also not good and sometimes voice echo and not good for crowded, noisy places.

   
   




9. After wearing for 2 hours ears started paining. Not good for long time wearing.

   
   




10. Volume fell drastically and now it is very unpleasant to listen music due to unbalanced volumes from both sides.

    
    

The design and looks are good but this product has lot of disadvantages and does not provides satisfactory results and not worth for buying at this price .

I recently purchased Wings Powerpods for something around Rs 4500. My experience has been horrible with the Bluetooth power pods.

1. The specs say that the range of earpods is 10 metres. In reality it is not more than 5 metres. Try getting on a call on your phone with earpods connected and move away from the phone to experience it. By 3-4 metres you will have difficulty hearing. At the same time, the volume levels are lower than that with wired earphones(I will discount the company for this issue).

   
   




2. Listening to music is a pathetic experience - the earpods perform even worse at a range of 4-5 metres.

   
   




3. Keep your phone in the pant pocket and you will experience a poor sound quality while calling and listening to music is simply not possible.

   
   

Now the interesting part,

I tried calling customer support for a replacement. They said, it is perfectly okay for the earpods not working while the phone is in the pant pocket! Really?

My question is why should someone spend Rs 4500 on a earpiece which cannot be used with phone in pant pocket?
