The book is about this single urban girl, Katie and her other single she-friends in their 30s in a situation of “no guys for them” or “guys who were committed.”
Olivia switching to Yoga[though she was quite self-sufficient], Louis, Katie’s best friend n roomy, trying to hit on with any guy available and Katie with a sis[Clara] dating Louis’s X who gets pregnant with him and Katie being mugged and things… These 3 women were the only hope for each other in the London city. The life was just getting on to them.
In this situation, Olivia, also Katie’s boss deports her to a Country side for a client’s requirement to help them gain some publicity to protect the wild forest and nature being pulled out to build a Golf course which Katie in a way or so, through funny luck and later with skills, achieves.
This country place called Fairlish was an actually Fairy-ish for Katie and Louis who reach there. Coz it had one thing which they really wanted or many urban woman with no available men around wanted. MEN!! The town was full of men and least women resulting in demand and supply situation. Towards the end they even have “slave auction” to raise funds for the CAUSE of protecting the forests. Calling in the woman from around the world who wanted to be in a place of plenty-men. That was a little funny n smart.
Anyway, so all this while Katie’s client in this village, Harry annoyed her all through and later secretly started adoring her along with Iain. Harry’s childhood friend and now “not an enemy” but “a misunderstood relationship suffering relation” between Harry n Iain which is sorted out towards the end. So both these guys adore Katie but in the end. Harry wins the race due to all the happenings n situations. And many other women including Louis find a man for themselves.
The End.
P.S. : I wouldn’t really recommend this one. It took me ages to finish it because the story couldn’t keep me interested in it most of the time to make me its slave.
