Worst Experience with Viveks & co - Fooled me

I bought carrier 1.5 ton Split Ac in Viveks for EMI with Bajaj finserv at their Expo sale in chennai trade center on 13 Apr 2016, They promised to deliver the product within 2 days but I received the product  after 11 days of follow up with their worst customer care. I was shocked of delivered  product, that seal was brooked so I returned the product, after another long follow up they accept to deliverer the product again. Great disappointment is, they delivered the same seal broken piece for the second time, I was totally fed-up with their service and I decided to cancel the booking and called to customer care, they said I can cancel this product to nearest show room, so I went to anna nagar showroom but they denied to give back my money.


Great thing is I am going to pay my first month EMI with product get delivered. I can’t cancel the loan also in bajaj finserv, it are explaining very big process for this cancelation.


I decided to buy AC in 2 day


I took 20 Mins to Buy the product


I am waited for 20 days for the product delivery


I don’t know how many days I have to wait to solve this problem.


Worst showroom, Worst service, Worst delivery,


Please don't prefer this showroom even to buy iron box

DEFECTIVE LAPTOP SOLD DURING WAREHOUSE SALE


I purchased HP AC 101 TU for INR 35, 000 on 27-Mar-16 during warehouse sale at Manapakkam.    Cost of the laptop was at least INR 3, 000 more than other shops and online rate.   The laptop was defective one and not working due to hardware malfunction.   I immediately  contacted Viveks Customer Care and sent mail too. I was asked by Viveks Customer Care to contact nearby branch.  On 30 Mar 16,  I went to Porur Viveks Branch which did not even care to see the defective lapton but asked me to go to HP Stores at Parsn Complex near Anna Fly Over.  As the Viveks Porur Branch did not help me,  I again contacted Viveks Customer Care and complained about it.    I gifted this system to my son who studies Engineering and he was totally disappointed due to this defective system. He had an online test for which I had rented a laptop by paying Rs.2000. In spite of many reminders and mails to Viveks, they did not care and Porur Branch person in Laptop Section casually told me that it is the customer’s responsibility to go to HP and get the defective system repaired and Viveks had no part in it.  With great difficulty, I had taken the laptop to HP and after 10 days follow up with HP, I go the problem solved on my own.    DO NOT PURCHASE ANY MORE ITEMS FROM VIVEK IS THE LESSON I LEARNT.  This outlet does not have any moral responsibility as it does not attend to customer’s grievances.  This is the second worst experience I faced with Viveks.  Earlier I purchased LG 32” TV and in that TV also I had issue. BE CAREFUL.  THERE ARE MANY GOOD ELECTRONIC OUTLETS IN CHENNAI OFFERING COMPETITIVE PRICE AND CUSTOMER SERVICE.

Very terrible involvement with Vivek's administration. I purchased AC on MONDAY and I asked for to introduce by following day, they guaranteed. establishment individual has desired establishment by following day 6.45 PM and dissected the range, that is it.


They sought establishment on following day as it were. At long last introduced with parcel of falsehoods and wrong responsibility from them. endured and balanced. Wednesday they introduced and Friday it has issue in cooling and I went to see outside unit. I found the their is spillage and framed ice where spilling at joint.


I sent SMS to Mr. Kalablishwaran who has sold with responsibility of 24 hours Vivek's own particular administration and client care balbalablalal . he didn't get back me even following day morning. at that point I called  him and I said protest, he just said next 48 hours your dissension will be tackled.


I was stunned since he know everything regarding why I purchased as crisis(My wife is 8 months pregnant and not capable face this hot climate) then asked for to make today, he answered that I will attempt sir. At that point I called LG client watch over direct administration and they said they will understand with in 24 hours, they have given grievance number too.


I sent the protest number to him and says that I have stopped grievance with LG specifically you require not to come. Promptly he got back to me and asked for to cross out the grievance and guaranteed that our individual will stop by today afternoon. Then I scratched off the same. around 11.15 AM I got call from administration individual that we will go to by 12.30 PM. I called them one hour once they said will come, in transit, they held up in basic site and everything. since 7 PM I called them more than 10 times. after 7 nobody picked telephone call. Don't know when will go to the call. MY KIND REQUEST TO YOU ALL. Try not to BE FOOL LIKE ME BY BUY PRODUCTS FROM VIVEK'S. Most exceedingly terrible EXPERIENCE EVER I HAD WITH ANY PRODUCT OR SERVICE.

Am writing this mail with full of frustration about your services…


I have purchased BOSCH WM & WAK201601N washing machine @ VIVEKS, Mugalivakkam ware house sales on 26th march but still now I have not received my product Yet(PAST 10 DAYS).


I have contact your customer care number # 044-42131616 for the past 8 days with total calls of 20 times. What the hell services that you have I don’t know. They keep on telling false promise day by day. I never see this kind of response in my life.Do you know what “CUSTOMER SERVICE”….?

Its not a better  job.Even however I am a Platinum part they treat individuals gravely. Most miserable with the ventilating establishment administrations.


It is the obligation of the introducing group to evaluate the condition choose best strategy to settle the ACs.


Be that as it may it showed up they made an unfortunate display with regards to and not willing to redress at their expense. It is very nearly two months and the issue is still not determined. The administration focus people who desire the demo additionally were not ready to clear up me on this. Last and last I say just - . ITS not happy for us.".

It's been more than 30 days since they took my washing machine's PCB board.


I've been tired calling them up everyday. All they told me was, the board is under observation. I did tell them to return my faulty board without needing to fix it. Nothing has happened. Folks, please visit any other store which values customers and provides service.


Viveks is a load of s*t.


You want to throw money into the drain please visit Viveks.

Recently bought Samsung Fridge for my parents on 16-Jan-16. They delivered the fridge after more than a week that too after repeated calls from our end. I stay just few 100 mtrs from Viveks showroom in Adyar. After which till today, 25-Feb no one came for installation of Fridge. For this they gave us one "Useless" Viveks Service Center no. Either it will be busy or no one will answer. This went for more than 4 weeks. Finally two days back I spoke to one guy from their "Useless" Cust service dept. They promised some one from Samsung will come within 48 hrs. That deadline also came and went. Lost total patience and asked Samsung directly and they confirmed that Viveks Adyar never sent my purchase details or request for demo yet. Finally now I'm waiting for Samsung to come and do.


Note: Viveks salesman said Samsung has best service. Not sure if they even know the spelling of Service.


God only can save people who buy from Viveks.


If possible I want to give zero star for Viveks and 1 star for Samsung

We booked a samsung 393 litres fridge on 1st jan, 16. They promised to deliver the fridge within 2 days.After that we repeatedly called them for the past 19 days every time we catch the response after half n hour  with many persons and get the answer that tomorrow they will make the delivery.


After a long time one person replied a fantastic answer  that your fridge is now in Thailand we will deliver after they receiving frm Thailand .


Every time the respondent persons are many so we cant get the proper remedy from their side like a government process. If any body wants to raise BP  make an order with viveks. they received money instantly,  we did not receive the article they dont bother about the care of costumers .we lost our precious time every day

We had purchased TV from Viveks on 3rd Jan. The amount got settled on 6th. Till now product is not delivered.


When asked, they said that the unit is out of stock and will be delivered on 11th. Since it was not delivered, when we called and asked. The Vivek employee was saying that he doesnt know.


Wherever we call and ask for the status, they would say that an executive will not. It has not happened at all.


This is the first time I am purchasing from Vivek. Horrible experience. No standard at all.


I am now concerned about the quality of the product that is going to be delivered. I wish I had seen the reviews earlier.


Though I have ordered Sony product. I dont know if these people are going to deliver me a brand new product or showroon piece.


why the hell I go for Viveks. I went for it as my cousin also bought a product. For them also similar experience.


Finally he deliverd the TV on 12th Jan. But he has not delivered the stabilizer. Till today I am calling these guys for the product  - I told them that I can also collect from showroom. no proper response.


I was told that I will be contacted today after I had called them again at around 11AM.

Verybad! We booked a daikin A/c and we got it delivered. No one came installing it for almost 2 weeks, so what we did was we installed it with a A/c mechanic for 500rs, then the stabilizer which they gave was faulty. So I went to inquire about it, where I discovered they canceled our warranty.


They said the warranty is active only when the company members come and install themself!. They asked for, 1500rs installation fees too. So because the company didn't care about installation, we did ourselves. And we get punishment as "No WARRANTY "? What kind of business you people do?.


The warranty is for the compressor and what it had to do with the installation? Very bad! I will not recommend viveks for my friends and family. Im planning on filing a case.

Staffs are not even responding to our questions. No knowledge about products they are selling. Omr branch is very worst. They should know how to treat customers first. Otherwise they can't survive in market. Think twice to purchase in any branch.

Hi I bought panasonic Tv in viveks showroom at porur branch. Actually my purchased TV has two years warranty(1 year panasaonic warranty+ 1 year viveks warranty). last month I have got a power problem in my TV. so I visited near by viveks showroom and complaint about this. they registered my complaint on nov 18th 2015.


They said that with in one week you will be get a call from from our service center and service your TV as soon as possible. one week gone but they never turned ON, so I just called them and said regarding this, they gave a commitment that on monday(23/11/2015) we will send our technician to solve the problem regarding issue on your Tv but on that day too they never turned ON.


Again I called them they gave commitment again on 26/11/2015 but on that day too they never came and finally they came to my home on 28/11/2015 and took my TV and said It will took one week to service my TV. Today the date is 13/12/2015 which means it is going to be nearly one month from the date of my complaint registration and still they doesnt return my TV will fully serviced. still they are asking me "gave us one week time when I call and ask about my Tv" so I just want to register a complaint against Viveks service team. And for people attention please dont buy any electronics things in viveks If you need a good customer service. This is my humble request to all. viveks has worst customer service when compared to other showrooms.

I bought More than 1 Lak rupees products in viveks showroom, Tambaram, Chennai. Recently I was called to viveks For Daikin Installation in new home, but  nobody pickup the call.So I was called to local AC Technicians for AC Installation and  they have completed installation.


Later when I called to viveks service center for free servicing  they said to me we are not doing free servicing, because Ac installation not done by Viveks and they are trying to convince me and also They have started fraud service.


Finally they said to me servicing will be chargeable and they have started different ways to get money from the customer like a  leech.


Please do not waste the money to buy the Viveks products in Chennai

I had purchased a fridge and a washing machine from the Poonamallee branch of Viveks and co., Unfortunately, I had not looked in to colour options of the refrigerator model and hence wanted to contact the branch. Surprise! There was no contact number of their Poonamallee office, but only that of their centralised customer care centre! and what service they offer!


The person who responded to my call said that there was no such information available with her! What for they have that centre? Then I browsed their website and got a number as that of their Poonamallee office and that was their Selaiyur office number! From them I got the contact number of the branch in chage of their Poonamallee office who helped me to solve my issue.


Such rotten service! Highly disappointing. But their employees at the above branch are very informative and helpful in assisting the customers which much be appreciated.

Very Poor co-ordination with the Customer care and Customer Service team. Technician's are very poorly managed and service Appointments are NOT honoured ON time.


And when ever you give a call to Customer care they all given the same answer that Technician will be there before evening - unfortunately you will not get any call from Technician


And I do not know when I fix an appointment for a particular time - at least 1 Hr delay is acceptable, where as there is No regret from home serve for not even sending anyone the whole day after multiple calls every 2 hours.


For a Booking on Saturday, we have been advised to call 3 days earlier - even 4 days before I called to fix an appointment - NO one will turn up. To add more there is NO Service option on Sunday.


We go to such corporates for AMC so that you pay attention to customers and hope that you will be providing good service when there is a break down or complaint. But Home serve has failed to do that. And proven that it's Not worth to opt the AMC - instead it's advisable to get the local technician's on need basis.


Poor co-ordination and pathetic customer service to attend client's fault, having good Call center for responding to customer calls - will not work out, end of the day how fast and quality service we provide to customer is what it matters to survive in the competitive business environment.


When Customer appointments are NOT met, what is the reason for having a call center - to take service appointments? Very unsatisfied with the response and for poor timely attention to customer complaints.


Regretting for choosing Homeserve AMC after 3 yrs of renewal(the goodwill you earned over the years is lost in just a day)

Buying electronic items from Viveks is like stepping into quicksand, you will be sinking  and no one will bail you.


First you will spend agonizing days following up with the shop to get the item delivered.


Then they will connect you to a service agency called "HOMESERVE"(called a Vivek's venture) which is truly a disgusting entity. Absolutely no work will be done, be it installation or service.


You will keep on calling till you get frustrated and get the work done by a local electrician. But that will not solve your problem, because the warranty is void if the installation and service are not done by their personnel.


Big mistake setting foot inside Viveks.

I had bought an AC Hitachi and Fridge whirlpool from Viveks tambaram on May 30, 2015. The installation took forever since they did not bother about it at all.


After my constant follow up and fights with Hitachi service on June 17th the AC was installed . Numerous calls I made to Viveks Customer service, they never bothered to take care of my issue . For fridge it's still in the box as it was delivered, no one has shown up for installation.


So people out there if you are planning to buy something in Viveks, my honest opinion don't even go next to their store absolute waste of time and energy

Recently I had purchased a Daikin inverter model AC from Viveks Camproad branch. The following are the issues I faced after purchasing the AC.




  1. While the time of purchasing it was said to me that installation od the AC would be done the very next day of purchase but people came only after two days and they told me they told me that they did not bring materials for fixing the AC so they cannot do that on that day and they went off.




  2. They very next day same people came with the materials and they they started doing installation. I had bought a triple booster stabilizer and it did not work so the people were not able to fix it and they were not even ready to take the stabilizer and replace a new one they insisted me to take it to the shop and exchange it. Also they told me to call local electrician to fix the rest part of the AC I don't know what is my mistake here if the stabilizer is not working I must take that for exchanging and to fix that people wont come back again.




  3. After that the same day evening I went to the branch and said them what happened no one over there gave me a proper response. Then later Mr.* took the stabilizer and checked it and told me that he doesn't have stock of that same model so that he will be home delivering it to me on the next day.




  4. On the next day when to the branch to ask about the stabilizer no one gave me a proper response. So I directly went to the shop and met Mr.* Though the stabilizer was present I don't know why he was not ready to deliver it to me. He again said me that he will send it to me as soon as possible. Then while the time of purchase the sales rep told me there will be free single booster stabilizer provided for the purchase of this AC but they never gave me that so I asked informed about that to Mr.* and he told me that he will deliver bot the stabilizers to me. I kept waiting the whole day and people came at night 10.00pm and they brought only the triple booster stabilizer. SO as it was night time I could not call any electrician to fix the stabilizer. So on that day also I could not fix the AC. After the purchase of AC it took more than a weeks time to fix the AC.




  5. Next day I called to Mr.* to enquire about the single booster stabilizer and his mobile was switched off. I directly went to the branch and found that he was on leave. No sales person was willing to help me with this they asked me to come on the next day. I then went and met the branch Manager and asked him about the stabilizer. He saw the bill and told me that nothing is specified about that in the bill so he will not be giving me that. Then I asked why people from your office had told me that it will be provided. The Manager told me that let Mr.* come He will ask him the detials and call me the next day and took my number.




  6. Now two days had passed no one had called me yet.




Voltas AC -Very poor service from Viveks

I purchased Tata Voltas AC from Viveks on 12/May/2012, Chennai, Adyar. Bill No:11621202468 for RS 32300. I was about to purchase 3 star AC, but the Viveks sales guys encouraged to take 5 star A/C instead for better power savings so paid extra 5000 rupees.


Later I learnt that 5 star comes with aluminium coil and it does not last long more than 2-3 years. There was a gas leakage problem within a year of purchase, the service engineer(N Manikandan) just filled the gas(02/4/2013) but did not fix the problem. I had an AMC contract from Viveks between 2013 May to 2014 May and again there was a gas leakage problem and again the service engineer just filled the gas and failed to fix the problem. Now I am not in AMC, but the gas leakage problem has reoccurred again and A/C is not functioning properly. When I called them, they said they need to change the aluminium coil and it may take around 4000. The actual problem occurred during the warrant period as well as during AMC which they failed to fix but now they are charging for fixing the problem.


Please don't buy from Viveks, their sales and service are a total scam!

VERY POOR & WORST Customer service in Viveks

Very poor customer service in Viveks, Nanganallur, Chennai. I purchased Morphy Rickards Steam Irom box on 13-Apr-2015 with bill no: 11A11550011.


I used only once(in three days of purchase day) and noticed that the Teflon coating is damaged, when I reported this in branch they said it will be serviced and get the Teflon coating plate will be replaced and they took almost two week for it after several follow-ups and complaints made to Vivek's Customer Care team.


I received the iron box after replacing the Teflon coating, I am not sure whether they did testing after replacing the Teflon coating plate, when I connect it the box is burning and melting smell is coming from it.


I approached again Vivek's Nanganallur branch and then onwards no action taken irrespective of the follow-ups both branch & CC.Finally today my wife visited the branch and enquired for the status and again they are bluffing and asking for time which is not acceptable.


Product brand new and not even used for twice and they are reluctant and neglecting to replace the product if it has manufacturer damage.


I would like to here your feedback on my complaints ASAP and get this resolved on high priority and should take appropriate action against the people involved in this from your Nanganallur branch.
