Viva College, Virar, Thane

Today in mumbai many college available for the engineering and viva is one of them.College is quite away from the station so it very difficult to access and travelling problems also.Viva college  recently comes in the engineering field so it is the very new college.College faculty is also very new and they are not so experienced.

Viva is a private college so fees of the college is very high as compare to the other colleges.College infrastructure is good but practical class is very poor.They have not a sufficient machine for the doing practical.

Viva is a very new college so no one company participating in this college, so after engineering job is a big problems.Due to the new professor they are unable to explain anything.The atmosphere for the study is very poor.The library of the college is very little and they have not a sufficient books for the study.

In this college still require some improvements for making the college better.

I am going to share my two years experience with this college.After getting minimalist marks in s.s.c I was worried about the admission in good/ average college, since being a resident of virar, this college was utterly fanatic, it was only reputated college in virar.

So I took admission ij this college, in my two experience the college was nice, specially the science department.

Faculty were good and very helpful, although being a old college but the infra was nice.

But canteen was worst, every facility was provided by this college.

A good college for science aspiring students.

After passing my ssc exam with good marks my friends and parents told me to take science.So I decided to take science but I was confused to choose good college but everyone told me to take admission in this college.

Then I took admission in this college and on first day I was very happy because it was so big and nice college.many students come from mumbai come here to study.

The staffs, teachers and principal are very good and talented.If we have any doubts regarding anything they help and guide us.I was also enjoying with doing studies also.It was my best experience to study in this college.

After completing my ssc I was confused regarding hsc admissions.All relatives recommended me that if you want to take science then you will need to save time.

So they told to take admission in college nearby me.I hence took admission in Computer science in viva college I was in H division.

Our batch of H division was 125 students we had three subdivided batches for practicals.

College timing was 11 am to 3 pm.Faculties were experienced & also our hod Vineet sir was master in cs subject.

I had well equiped chemistry, physics & cs laboratory.I also played chess & carrom at 4th floor of this college.

During this 2 years we bunked most lectures and played counter strike at cyber near this college.

I also remember vada pav that I used to eat in viva college canteen.College was clean & hygenic.College has good library & wifi facilities.Good college if you want to study science & score good in Hsc.

After clearing my HSC, i opted to pursue a Bachelor's degree in IT. I used to stay at Palghar during those days, so I thought of selecting a college nearby and ended up taking admission in this college.

I was very much excited that i'll be travelling to a new place with many many expectations of learning many good things and finally stepping out to become a professional person.

But everything was reverse of what I thought. Class rooms are very big in size but do not have sufficient fans and benches. All the divisions were overcrowded. Crowd was not good at all. Canteens were like ...sh*t! Lifts are only for the staff. No particular room for indoor games(gymkhana). Teachers were good because they used to put their 100% effort. No ground for sports, so no sports week. The only good thing about the college it that it is at walk-able distance from Virar Station. No encouragement for social activities. No concession for sports players. Worst Fest, if compared to other colleges.

The worst thing which I felt at the end, was no campus interviews. Not a single company came for campus selection. We were left on our way as if now we are no one to them. To sum up, if you want to just enjoy your college life , then opt for this college else NO ! NO!! NO!!!...
