The worst hospital , worst doctors

My mom was admitted in Icu at covid ward where dr Anupama , Shweta and a male doctor was looking at her .

They forced her with diet she had refused , she did tell me that they were trying to kill her and to suppress her voice they actually put her on a ventilator to kill her .

Never ever go to Dr Anupama singh and dr Shweta Bansal .

Worst Hospital Ever!

We have been going to Vimhans hospital for eight years, They were nice in starting up to a certain time. Over the last three years, they have taken a turn for worse. Whenever we call for an appointment they would refuse to give us an appointment for the next week and will tell us the doctor's three months schedule is full. The staff is worse than anyone. My mum has depression Nd yesterday when my mum politely tried to tell her the reason, the attendant woman in 15A started to shout at us like we were her employees. She refused to give us an appointment stating Dr. Won't be seeing anyone else today. The process of getting an appointment has been one complicated process. You have to go to do the billing in another area and then take an appointment from another far away room and then ask a completely different person in a different area for which time you could see a doctor. The staff is so impolite. Refrain from going there. It's terrible. I felt awful seeing how they are treating us from the last three years. And so we have decided to change the doctor finally.

Most incompetent Doctors & worst hospital
Aug 13, 2022 12:53 AM1281 Views (via Mobile)

Hospital is more like a money making machine rather than anything else .They keep patients in ICU whether or not it is required. Even if they know patient will not survive still keep the patient in ICU for days just to increase the Bill.Doctors too are most incompetent with incorrect diagnosis is the norm there. Should be avoided.

Incompetent and greedy doctors

This hospital needs to be avoided at all cost The doctors are incompetent and greedy. When we went there for the treatment of my mother we had thought it is the best hospital for mental illnesses in Delhi. But it turned out to be otherwise.

Their only intention was to keep my mother in their ward for as long as possible so that they could earn money.

My mother was suffering from vascular/ frontal dementia but they diagnosed it as depression and gave wrong medicine. They could not diagnose on the basis of the symptoms. I asked the Doctor Sonali Bali if she could be suffering from vascular/ frontal dementia and she asked my mother what she had eaten in the morning which my mother answered correctly.( Memory loss is a symptom of Alzheimer dementia and not of vascular/ frontal dementia, which any psychiatrist should know)

They also gave my mother electric shocks which is for depression which does not get treated with medicines and not for dementia. This was another way of making money irrespective of concern for getting the patient better.

I asked for my mother be examined by a neurologist in the hospital. He too could not diagnose it as dementia( either he was in competent or did not want to disagree with the line of treatment his colleague was carrying out, since it was getting the hospital money.

Sanjay Pattanayak also saw my mother, but he was quite incompetent.

The doctors were in no position to handle the difficult cases in the ward. They are working there for years because they cannot get any work outside due to their incompetence and greed.

The directive to the doctors is the keep the beds filled.

The nursing staff was also incompetent and least bothered. They were going to give my mother insulin twice. Most of them were trainee nurses

Hospital equivalent to hell.

It’s a shop, not a hospital. Throughout these years, as I’ve grown, one thing I noticed was that Dr Sonali Bali just wants to get her patients admitted. Last time I visited her, she wrote, “Admission Advised” while I was completely normal. Not once but at least 10 times she wrote that when I was completely normal. Once she said, ”Rooms khali hai, ho jao admit”.

Seems like she just portrays to be so nice with the family of the patients so that she could just scare them to bring their loved ones over and over againto the hospital .

When I was 19, she told my mother that, “it’s herfault, that she (the doctor)shouldn’t have given me these much ‘Nexito’ didn’t knew she’d end up manic. When I went to the hospital on my own on that day, and these guys breached my trust as they got another patient to get admit and enslaved me. Another diagnosis they gave me, Bipolar Disorder.

It’s been a long time and I still get these flashbacks from VIMHANS because how they treated me was just inhumane. Involuntarily whatever they did with me in absence of my parents was horrendous. I can’t explain in words whatsoever happened. It all could have been handled in a much sophisticated manner.

God! I trusted her and the hospital authorities, I shouldn’t have. They just want to fetch money out of your pockets nothing else. It’s a shop for doctors not a platform to serve.

I’m 22 now, and I regret how my entire teen years and young adulthood went consulting a psychiatrist and the trauma I faced as I had to swallow pills is excruciating.

I wanted to file a case against them but one thing is for sure, Karma would definitely sue them.

Money minded hospital just like other private hosp
Jul 08, 2020 08:02 PM3033 Views

In today's life all private hospitals are money minded. and same case with Vimhans Nayati hospital. I just lost my mother in this hospital. I brought my mother for some respiratory problem and when I brought her in emergency she was in conscious state and doctors told us verebally that her oxygen level is 40% but she was absolutely in conscious state was talking to us all the way from home to hospital. but the hospital staff in emregency gave her anesthesia and put her on Vanitilator, she was been on ventilator for upto 3 days with anesthesia. and doctor told us that her oxygen level reaches 80 to 82% with 100% oxygen on ventilator but when they turned her on prone position the oxygen level reaches upto 96% . still the hospital staff putted her on anesthesia and ventilator, and after 3 day at 6 o clock the billing department called me to submit all the outstanding amount. and when I went in ICU after submit all outstanding to check the mother conditions. they told us that pulse rate is absolutely normal as they repetitively told me for past 3 days, and oxygen level same as I told above. and I also checked in monitor that pulse rate was absolutely fine . but when I went to home suddenly I got a call after an 2 hr that she is critical( actually she was no more at that time). and when I went to hospital they told us that suddenly she got a cardiac arrest and we kept trying for last one hr but no response. . but I didnot saw any CPR machines around. I dont know what they did in our absence with my one an only mother after my father. they didnt even allowed me to see her in those last 3 days. there were lots of things which are not digestible.specially when she was concsious then why they put her on ventilator, they can put her on oxygen only if she is awake and conscious. her Doctors were Dr. Anupama singh and Dr. shweta Bansal. and one male doctor was also there who was very much rude and with lots of negativity vibes, he kept telling me she is soo critical and may be not survive more than 72 hrs. and his behaviour seems like he is not a doctor actually he shud be a guard.

Shruti Kalr- Unethical and totally for the richies
Feb 18, 2020 04:20 AM3863 Views (via Mobile)

I have been in and out of treatment for depression for years. And most of the psychologists i met in my life have been decent. But i have pretty severe questions on Shruti Kalra's practise. The woman is keen on keeping you in the treatment as long as you can get admitted. From an inside source, i have heard that the hospital gives a percentage to the staff for getting the patient admitted. Not just this tge psychologists are only kept in the hospital if they can maintain the number of patients they see. Apart from this, i have serious concerns on the way she talks. She is a psychologist but she herself needs some classes on reducing her arrogance when it comes to treating the patients. The hospital has managed to market her pretty well. She is very insulting about your behaviour and it looks like she feels she is perfect. The innocent and troubled patients who go to her may actually never find out the tricks she plays on them. I have seen many psychologists in my life and all of them were decent humans except her. I strongly feel her practise should be questioned by some govt authority. Since we live in a country where the laws are pretty weak for the patients so my guess is that she gets to keep ruining many lives.

Example of loot & Overcharging

My Mother in law is Paralysis patient and has been visiting VIMHANS for regular OPD from last 10 years. Recently, she had fever which was ON & OFF for 2 weeks and one day it suddenly shot at 106 F. We were scared and wanted to take her to VIMHANS again, in case the treatment may need some change in her Neuro medicine too.

She was admitted to emergency and Dr AK checked her, she was diagnosed has having UTI or Typhoid based on clinical symptoms but after seeing the physical condition doctor advised to go home as its just a minor problem which will be OK after taking new prescribed Antibiotics.

Dr P, to whom my MIL was visiting regularly, showed some apprehension that she may had some other disease, so its better if she gets admitted and so it can be diagnosed.

On second say it was confirmed that she had UTI. Within next 5 days, they advised all possible test they could and also put her on drips, when she was eating regular food.

Now after 6 h day they said, its all OK from out side its just UTI. I can't image for illness like UTI, we have been charged for Rs. 80000/- in 7 days.

INCOMPETENT DOCTORS
May 12, 2011 05:58 PM15688 Views

I have been calling up a counsellor for almost a month now, for an appointment for my father. This Dr. has already seen my father thrice and he is so busy for the past 1 month that he has not an hour to spend with my father who needs counselling. He (Dr. Pulkit) gave me the number of another counsellor (Dr. Shruti) who does not pick her phone only, and when I called up Dr. Pulkit asking to give an appointment himself, he suggested another Dr.

This time it was Dr. Vandana who gave us a time for today, i.e. 12.05.11 at 3pm. My brother left his office to take my father to the doctor, and on reaching the hospital, he was told that DR. Vandana is on leave. One month has gone by like that and all the three doctors have made a mockery of such a pious profession.

Another neurologist, who has seen my father 4 times earlier, made us wait for over 2 hours, everytime that we went there, after taking an appointment from him. What kind of hospital is VIMHANS and what kind of doctors are working there? Such callous attitude. No sympathy for the patients. They are more of shrewd businessmen than doctors. These doctors should be penalised for such behaviour. Their licence should be cancelled and they should be fined.

Taking a patient out in this heat and then coming back empty handed because there is no competent doctor at VIMHANS... its really sad and shows the lack of commitment on the part of the doctors as well as the authorities at VIMHANS. Such a sorry state of affairs at the so called PRESTIGIOUS MEDICAL INSTITUTE in the capital of India.... Really unfortunate
