For several months now I have been receiving a catalog from Viking Office Products and I got one yesterday. As I have looked through them I have found their prices not to be bad at all. So I thought I would go to their online website https://vikingoffice.com and order some things. I would like to share the information of their site with you now.
The Site
Viking Office Products website was fantastic! At least I thought so. When I got to their home page I found it to be very attractive and easy to get around. The site is done in red, white and blue with black lettering. There is also an American Flag by their name up at the top.
The home page was very impressive with easy to read links: Order By Catalog #, Cartridge/Ribbon/Toner, My Saved List, Internet Order History, Customer Service, Help, and Search. Each link was very easy to use and took me quickly to that part of the site.
I was able to shop around with complete ease. The pages loaded fast and I was able to see with no problems all items. On the homepage I had the option to see some of the sale items and prices and how much I would have to order of certain products, should I actually need to. In fact each page is set up the same way.
You will also see a picture of the Chairman of the company Mr. Erwin Helford. Who appears to be a nice looking and honest man.
Items Available
First of all you can order any item from a catalog, which is what I did, and had no problems at all. There is a list of areas on the homepage that range from Office Supplies, to Furniture, to Technology, to Specialty Products. And under each of these items you will see links to areas of interest that will take you quickly to that set of information.
You will find out very easily about each item, the cost, the quality of the item and you can order as many as you want with no problem. Some of the items have a minimum order about such as special sales on copy paper, pens, and other various items. For the office of any kind this feature will come in handy for you when wanting to make bulk purchase. They offer every office supply product imaginable!
I was really impressed with all of the items that I could find and some I didn't even know existed. I thought several times about the big businesses that could use this site as well as the little man/woman on the totem pole (us stay at home people, or us who just from time to time need something for the home and don't want to fight a crowd somewhere).
Viking always has something on sale and I have found their prices to be very competitive with their competition. In fact most times I have found them to be cheaper. They also offer a clearance section where you can get some good deals on various products. In fact looking through this part I realized that I had forgotten about some bordered paper I had needed. They had some on clearance that would work just fine for me.
You can also check for their newest items! Veri Fine also recommends them, which is like the online Better Business Bureau. You also receive free shipping and handling for orders over 25.00, for under there is a flat fee of 3.29, which I find not to be a bad deal at all. (US Dollars)
Setting Up My Account and Check Out
This part was easy to do! I put in my name, (also name of company) address, email, and phone. I had an option to select a credit card payment each time or allow them to store my credit card information. I also had the option to choose their credit. I chose to put my credit card info in with each use.
I also had the option to put in the reference number above my address that I easily found on their catalog, which allowed me to get all the sales items! When I was ready to check out the process was very easy to do and they gave me updated information with each click. I had no problems with this part of the process at all. I found this part of the site to be very secure.
You also have the option to shop with them if you live in another country. You will find this link down at the very bottom, right hand side of the homepage.

I also suggest that you read their terms of service, security statement and privacy policy. In these areas are much needed to know information. So read them carefully.
They also offer a help section for all your questions. However you can contact their customer service should you not find the answer you are looking for. They also offer rebates and the opportunity to download business forms.
Shipping
They guarantee next day if at all possible. But as well know, things do happen so just be patient with this part of it. Like I stated earlier they offer free s/h for orders over 25.00, and a flat fee of 3.29 for orders less than 25.00.
They also advise you that there may be a higher charge for large items. Most sites don’t always make this kind of deal with you. I know I had to pay 5.95 with a competitor for local delivery (not even 15 miles from my house!) You can also track your order.
How I Feel
There are a lot of online sites to purchase office supplies, but I really liked this one. The site was very easy to use and I found everything that I was looking for and for a price that I could afford. There are some downfalls for me though and that is some items must be bought in bulk. And that for me is not ideal.
However for people/companies with these types of needs it is the way to go! I found the site very friendly and very knowledgeable for all of my needs. So the next time you are in the market for office supplies give Viking Office Products a chance to serve you.
