I think if u want to study here its a waste of time, didnt get enough time to study, attendence pressure also here( 75% )is mandatory if u failed then u cant elligible for semester exam, even if u bink a class you will get a sms in ur mobile or parents mobile that ur ward didnt attend the class from 11.00 to 11.50semester fees is too high for efforting everyone 60000 per semester.here year lag is mandatory ( if you have 5 backlogs in 2 semester then) , teacher didnt gave u internal, lab marks.in this college u also get lab subject backlog also.Teachers is very good.maximum teachers are very helpful but not all teacher.Lab facility is good.i have learned here too much thing but never suggest anyone to admission.If u entire college but after entiring u didnt get out before the college hours complete.even in office u also leave but here didnt u leave without proper reason.college libary is extraordinary e book is also here for studying.college cheap store is name as a cheap store but price is high in the college cheap store.

This college is really amazing.yah! there is many rules and regulations and this college is well known of its discipline.but due to this this. college is 100% ragging free. .here all the faculties are awesome.and placement are really good as every student get 2 to 3 job offers.

Taking admission in an engineering college is an initial dream of any technical student. But a bad desicion can dramatically change the life UNIVERSITY OF ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT is no doubt one of the worst engg colleges in kolkata. They are actually doing a business . Anyone holding huge amount of money can take admission in this college, they are making people fool, everyone knows how tough now days is to get a decent job in core it companies. But they keeps on saying that the can offer every students with 2 or 3 or even 10 jobs. Actually IEM is one of the best private colleges in kolkata,they link up IEM with UEM. When an IEM student is placed,the very next day there is an announcement in UEM that UEM is a world class university and the students will get 3 4 and infinite number of jobs. In reality there is no link between IEM and UEM. In an ordinary college there are maxinum 120 students in a stream but UEM kolkata ha almost 800 students per stream . Actually I am also an UEM dropout CSE student. Ask any UEM students they will never give you a positive feedback. I personally understand what they faces. Parents money does not matter,it will go and come, bt I request not to send your son and daughter to send in those types of institues.

University Of Engineering And Management is a good college, but sometimes its rule regulations disappoint each and everyone.I also a student of this college. In the admission time the faculty members tell us about the college reputations and the facilities for the students, but 80% things are fake guys. there is three buildings, here mainly has three department B-tech, BBA, BCA. The college was started before 2 years.I am the 2016 batch. The Academic programs are held properly. Administration is quit good and extracurricular ectivities are better than other things.

Got admitted in 2016 in this so called university UEM that calls itself a university with just 3 buildings of 5 floors each with all kinds of academic programs available though nothings runs for actual except the B.tech, Bba and Bca courses with usefull extracurricular activities and ones that comes also comes with the extra money and not a small one but a really good money. Alumni network is null as it has started in 2015 itself. The rules like college dress compulsory like school kids even a student with tie or open shoe less or unpolished shoes or the tie knot placed a bit downward can get you punishment like a primary school kid and then comes the fact of admission. On 2015 it took admissions through WBJEE AND JEE MAINS and the closing ranks even for the CSE went as low as 84000 yes you read it right when the total qualified students itself is in the exam is 89000 itself. Thus to fool the parents and others it started admissions through own exam and even just by 12th marks with any marks to be honest. The name that it is selling is that of their 20+ years old institution IEM a college affiliated by MAKAUT(a wb gov university) which is one of the top colleges of the state but it's university newly brought by the group is horrible. I went to ask for admissions with 78% marks in 12th and 95% marks in 10th and they just asked me my 10th marks and if I had passed 12th boards and not even they asked my percentage of 12th and asked what I wanted when I asked if CSE is available they offered me the guarantee admission form within 5 minutes and I thought it was my wbjee rank of 9000 in general category that made me through it but I was wrong it took every students that came and as a result in 2015 the batch of engineering was of 1250 size then in my 2016 it was of 1450 size and jumped to 1950 size in 2017 with the fees per semester for 2015 batch 38000 then in 2016 increased to 60000 and in 2017 to all time high of 80000. With college administration showing dreams before admissions and after telling they are not liable for our jobs is a total fraud and false advertisement by the university.

University of engineering and management( UEM) kolkata started its journey in 2015 situated in newtown. Its a brach of well known college institute of engineering and management( IEM) . This college shows extra displine which is beneficial for our future. Some faculties are good and some are bad. If you are a discipline boy/ girl then this college is for you. The college is maintaining a formal dress which is not required as we are not school kid now. Formal dress can't helps us in teaching. Talking about courses, it offers B.TECH.( CSE, ME, ECE, EE, CE, BT) , BCA, BBA, M.TECH. About placement, can say only in 2019 where its first placement will held.

University of engineering and management is situated in kolkata which is in the shadow of famous college institution of engineering and management.i am one of the 1st year student of UEM.i found this college is enough disciplined.all the faculty members of this college are highly tallented and teaching capability is great.the infrastructure is amazing and have the learning enviroment.though this college is founded before two years but it is for sure after some years it will become one of the top college in west bengal.

The university is administrated by 27 year old IEM management committee. So, being in the shadow of IEM helps a lot. Faculty members are awesome. They are too friendly. They will even clear your doubts after regular class hours. This university has a very good infrastructure and facilities. But, the library needs to stock more books so that, each students will get more books. And this university maintains a very strict and disciplined environment to make the students focused on their studies. In addition to the regular engineering course, the university provides extra coaching for cracking various government and top private sector jobs.
