United 21 Resort Sunderbans, Pakhiralaya, Gosaba

This review is about Sundarban Holidays, a tour operator based in Gosaba, West Bengal, India.

Our trip was extremely disappointing. We (family of five with two senior citizens) booked a 2 night/3 days trip via Sundarban Holidays.

On day 1, there was confusion with the hotel. At the end of a tiring day, we walked for 15 mins to reach our hotel but during check-in, we were told that our hotel is on another island. We had to take a boat trip again.

On day 2, we were moved around from one boat to another and there was no place for us to sit as the other boat was full. Also, the boat arrived late and we were hurried through the sightseeing locations. There was no guide available (a guide was promised in the brochure).

On day 3, Santu Misra, one of the members of the tour company gave away free bottles of honey to every family on our boat, only excluding us. This was done in exchange for feedback (which, in my opinion is bribing the guests to get good feedback). That was utterly unfair and we felt discriminated. Now you know where the 5 star ratings come from. During our check-in, this same guy told us that it would cost more if we take a room upstairs and tried to rip us off. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone.

2 year ago we had gone sundarban in winter. Our family stayed the united 21 in sundarban.truely spaeaking the weather of the place is too amzimg. The workers were so friendly . The the food of this hotel lethel . I stayed in this hotel for 2 night . Hotels rooms were so clean and monorom. The bathroom and the shawer syestem was very good .
