Unicorn Store, Pune

Had gone there to get the touch screen issue fixed for my iPhone 5s. The executive checked the phone and said that there is a physical damage to the phone and is not covered in warranty. The phone just had a superficial dent on the outer casing(limited to the outer casing, it was no way reaching the glass panel outer edge. I called up the Apple care and explained the whole situation. The apple care sr advisor asked me to send the pics on a link that they shared with me and also asked me to let him speak to the customer executive at Unicorn. I handed over the phone to the customer executive at Unicorn. I believe the apple sr advisor would have told him that I would be sending the pics of the phone for their review - this guy goes inside the service station with my phone and comes back after 5 mins. I noticed that my phone now had a very visible dent right on the edge of the screen and the start of the casing. It seemed like it was made with a small screwdriver(the ones used to open the iPhone casing). When I confronted this with the Unicorn executive he was in total denial!

Was duped!

Absolutely horrid experience! Beware, fraud people!

Went to store with discharged iphone

10 am first one in line give my phone to the customer rep she takes the phone to check comes out and says your phone is dead its not  worth anything you can buy a new one from us.

take the phone to another dealer he fixes the phone as its a batter issue

went to the store again buy a apple charging cabel as they are supposed to be resellers for apple.

the cable dosnt work try it on other cables in the store the cable works

contact the store manager mr nilesh maru he says come to the store will find a solutions

contact the store guys the service center people say take a refund

they make me wait for one hr and say theres a problem with the phone they have the audacity to say this even without checking the phone.

i tell them when my phone is charging on other cabels why dont you replace the cable which was bought only 2 days ago

they refuse replacement and say they cant replace

imagine it was only a cable for 1500 how about I had bought a phone from them

its a sincere advise to all be careful these guys are deficient in your services and they tell you things without even verifying have all the proofs and written statement from the store the cable accessory bought from the store says this accessory is not certified by apple and may not work properly.

Unicorn store selling Apple products is not actually an Apple store!!! Yes it is a franchise and so the treatment you get in Apple Phoenix Mall is opposite to Unicorn . Apple makes you feel valued.

Unicorn is rude, Apple is ready to Help Unicorn is ready to take money for any and everything possible , even for fixing a screen guard on the apple phone ( phone was bought from other store  and cover was brought from unicorn) they refused to fix the screen guard, further they said they would not fix even a minor issue in the apple phone if it was not brought from their shop.

while the Phoenix mall and inorbit mall apple store fixed an overseas bought Apple phone also with smile.... high time Apple stops giving franchises to UNICorn and people stop going to that store in Aundh especially where a rude  customer service person like Asif
