The ingenuineness of this review appears doubtful. Justify your opinion.
I feel this review is:
When I landed in Jodhpur lots of Auto drivers keep chasing me to take to Umaid palace. I thought its amazing like Udaipur city palace. but its not that interesting. You can just go with your kids to give them knowledge about History. You can also take lots of selfies. even lots of foreigners also not interested to see things like this. You can get amazing city view from outside of the palace which don't need any fees. it's good that the prices are not too high for this. I paid 30 rupees for seeing old stuff.

The Museum is situated inside the UmaidBhawan Palace premises in Jodhpur.Rest of the Palace has been changed over to an inn, the Taj Group of Hotels is dealing with the visitor appointments for the stay at this palace.Major segment of the Palace is not open to open but rather for the regal family and Hotel guests.Around 20% of the property is interested in broad daylight, for example, the exhibition hall. Open from 9 a.m to 5 p.m the UmaidBhawan Palace Museum houses different antiques and portrays the historical backdrop of the Jodhpur city.As we were investigating the exhibition hall amid our 2 day remain at the inn, we discovered that Maharaja Umaid Singh was occupied with Western design and thus designated an Edwardian modeler to make the stylistic layout of this royal residence in that style.
This is located at Jodhpur distt of rajasthan. It is slightly on the hilly area and its sight seen is very nice.
This palace is belong to maharaja of royal family Jodhpur. Almost half of the area is covered by royal family residential area in left over there is a musuem, small cinema hall and also used as a conference hall. There also a rest room, restorent and living house for their servants, workers and guides.
Museum is nicely arranged and decorated with all old royal family house hold items and war related instruments like swords, bow and arrow, rifles, pistols, head dress, old uniforms of maharaja, furnitures, carpet, old books and many more.
Often foreigners used to visit this place and get good feeling of its rich heritage and cultural activities. At this place guides are also available to guide the visitors.
So this is very good visiting spot. people must visit and feel the beauty of this place.

The Museum is located within the Umaid Bhawan Palace premises in Jodhpur.Rest of the Palace has been converted to a hotel, the Taj Group of Hotels is managing the guest bookings for the stay at this palace.Major portion of the Palace is not open to public but for the royal family & Hotel guests.Around 20% of the property is open to public such as the museum.
Open from 9 a.m to 5 p.m the Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum houses various artifacts & depicts the history of the Jodhpur city.As we were exploring the museum during our 2 day stay at the hotel, we learned that Maharaja Umaid Singh was interested in Western architecture & hence appointed an Edwardian architect to create the decor of this palace in that style. We just loved the impeccable sculptures & the various types of antique chariot design clocks showcased inside the glass exhibits.
For public, they charged an entrance fee of around INR.30 per person from Indians & INR.100 from foreign tourists & INR.10 for children between the age of 5-11 years. The air condition inside the museum was not very effective when we visited, so we were sweating after a certain point of time even though there were antique fans rotating on the ceiling of a few museum rooms but the antiques really took our breath away.We explored the whole museum for around 3 hours.
I explored this museum last year with my family. This palace is little away from city but its worth to visit. The museum is situated on top of a small hill top. This palace which has been now converted to a expensive heritage hotel houses the royal family. Only a small portion has been reserved for the visitors who visit the museum.
Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum exhibits an exclusive range of items belonging to the Maharajah and the royal family. Located within the Umaid Bhawan Palace, the museum has items ranging from weapons, an array of stuffed leopards, antiques, crockery to various trophies. Exhibits also comprise a huge banner presented by Queen Victoria and a collection of clocks.
Within this private museum attached to the palace are displayed arms, furniture, antique clocks and China vases that formed a part of the private collection of the Maharajahs of Jodhpur. Stuffed leopards, and weapons used by the rulers are also displayed in the museum. Tourists can also view a wide collection of crockery, cutlery, rocks, watches, photographs and other antiques in the museum. There is also a gallery showcasing the most exotic automobiles owned by the royals.
The opening hours of this museum are 9 am to 5 pm. It's a great museum to explore with your friends and family.
