Udyog Nagri Superfast Express

I Used this train at least 3/4 times in a month  going to Allahabad and return to Agra since 2007.This train play Important role for my Phd(MNNIT Allahabad) This train is started by LP yadav Rail Minister UPA GOVT. During Early years It Always reaches Allahabd right time(4.50/4.55 AM). But in2012 when Pawan bansal was rail minister Extended this train upto Jaipur without understanding pro and cons of good service. I observed following point due to this extension

(i) This train not reaches allahabad RT as frequent as before Extending Allahabad

(ii) you will never get reservation either from agra or Mathura)

(iii) Some Train go and return from Jaipur in UP train(12404) is late than it is sure down will come late automatically

I know  Extension is good but not in case of this train My view is  that you should introduced link service between Mathura and Jaipur without extending this train

Kanpur has big business community and for a long time many people in Kanpur wanted a train which would reach ''Bumbai'' early in the morning, so that they can carry out their business activities through out the day return in the evening either by Avadh or Kushinagar Exp.

After a long period of wait, ''Kanpurias '' now have a dedicated train from Kanpur to Mumbai. The first impression is very good, especially at Kanpur Station. The boogies are quite new and seems that the train has steel interiors. NCR also maintains the train very well. Thus its a very clean train.

This bi-weekly train runs from Kanpur on Tues & Thus where as its on every Tues & Sun. The train has very limited number of halts, can you believe this train has lesser halts than Pushpak. The train halts at Jhansi, Bhopal, Bhusawal, Nasik Rd & Kalyan only.

The best part of this train, because of its limited halts reservation is not an issue.

From Kanpur the Quota is following: -

AC2T - 25

AC3T - 35

SL - 296

There is also a separate quota for the passengers from Bhopal. So if one doesn't get the reservation from Kanpur than the alternative would be, Book 2 separate tickets one would be Kanpur - Bhopal & the other would be Bhopal - Mumbai.

If one can complete the work by lunchtime than one can either board this train on Tuesday or LKO Super fast on other days from LTT.

The train covers a long distance of 1339 Km between Kanpur & Mumbai within 22hrs.

In short I had a very pleasant train journey.
