All the pictures that you could find over Internet is just an hype. Most lakes are filled with filth and garbage. The lanes of old city is filled with foul smell of drains and toilets. There is not a all any "wow" factor to it.

Udaipur is favorate destination for capitalistic community of India- middle class folks stay away, it's not advisable to burn down your hard earned money .

When I went to visit Udaipur, it is a very beautiful place worth seeing there, the weather is always cold, I also went with my family in Udaipur, there are many places related to history, which makes my mind very happy to see Udaipur. It is also called Kashmir of Rajasthan and if we talk about bravery, then the name of Kunwar Maharana Pratap ji of Mewar comes, who is the hero icon of India, we all consider Maharana Pratap ji to be revered.

Udaipur city is awesome but travel around the city with local cab or auto rickshaw is very worst no fixed rate to travel around the city….

Do not hire auto or taxi in udaipur. They only looting like 1 km ke 200 rupee, 6 km ke 800 rupee. So I suggest Udaipur me auto ya taxi na le. Scooty rent pe ya bus ka use kre.

Udaipur "the city of lakes" and also called "Kashmir of Rajasthan". Maharana udai singh 2nd laid the foundation of this exquisite city. This city used to be earlier capital of mewar kingdom. Udaipur is such an amazing city to visit as the city has many places to visit like lakes, forts and the traditional market of udaipur. Udaipur city gives a traditional and cultural feel to you.it is a good tourist place with good climate condition.i had been there a year ago it was a great experience to visit a city like udaipur it is so good.the hotel of udaipur city are all very traditional and royal which gives you a great felling .i visited the city palace which is full of the cultural and traditional thing of the city and it tells us the history of udaipur.you can say that Udaipur is the kashmir of Rajasthan and you should go and visit Udaipur at least ones in a lifetime.

I am living in udaipur last 10 year.Udaipur city have many nic name like city of lake, Kashmir of Rajasthan and city of fountain.

Place for tourism-pichola lake, dudh talai, jagdish mandir, city palace, fateh sagar and many more where we can go for tourism specially pichola lake boating and fateh sagar lake boating is too good for your enjoy.

The main thing of the city is history of the city.don't forgot to read the history about the king of mevar specially maharana pratap, maharana kumbha, maharana sanga and maharana rajsingh.

Near the city many more place for visit and trust me these are so closed to udaipur.

One more thing these city have India's best water draining system.

These city are not expensive to visit.

Udaipur is a good place to visit, it's historical place, last year I went to the udaipur, I just love that place so much. You ll see the lot of places in udaipur, I watched city Palace, temple, fortres, etc. If you interested in historical places then this is a good place for you.

I just love udaipur. Visited this city 2 times and both times it was jusr amazing. The aura of this city is something so different that you just fall in love with it. I think it's rightly called the romance capital of India and even Asia. Do visit this city on your next trip to Rajasthan.

Its a big palace with current Royal Family living in it. The Palace has 3 Hotels also. The view from the Palace is breath taking. You can see entire Udaipur City.Beautifully managed, Udaipur city palace is one of the few palaces that are well maintained, easy access, rich history. A must visit when I’m Udaipur.

Ropeway experience was new but worth worthy

I went to this place a year back with my group of friends. It was supposed to be a short trip. We stayed at a Dharamshala close to Fateh Sagar lake. The lake was indeed breathtaking and it has lots of eateries around. Cold coffee was one of the best thing to have while enjoying the beauty of Udaipur. The only backdrop was we were not aware of the transportation much hence had to rely on whatever the local rickshaws asked for. It should definitely be on your list of'Places to visit in India'.
