Uber drivers are generally rude, if you ask them to slowdown or drive patiently they mess up with you. Worst part, when you call the safety line, all they give you is the fancy words, they hardly ever take any action on drivers. After a series of such instances, today, midnight, driver challenged my judgement when I asked him not to tailgate while driving between truck trailors. I called Uber safety-line from app, and driver refused to talk to the guy on other end. I felt so unsafe that I stayed online with the Uber representative rest of the trip. I decided to get off the cab nearby instead of my actual location, to avoid driver noticing my exact location and try to harm me in some way later. To my surprise, driver decided to chase me. Thank God there were some people around and I asked them to help, and together these 4 to 5 people were able to force him to take U turn.


The most amusing part comes now, guess what, Uber blocked my account.


I am happy to move away from Uber, because driver denying destination but refusing to cancel from his side, driver moving in wrong direction, unnecessarily delaying pickup after reaching nearby to attract waiting time, Uber making to pay for wait time even if it is below 3 min, are the other frequent issues I faced, and surprisingly this problem has increased since 3 to 4 months.

My experience with uber is worst. Drivers are trying to cheat you by saying otp is not working. They trying to charge more money. I have charged double amount. First amount deduct from wallet then driver also took same amount in cash. All uber drivers are thieves. They are trying to cheat company nd customers both

Paid cash and app still shows unpaid.

I chose wallet and cash as an option and wallet balance was deducted.Paid Rs.185 through cash and app says unpaid trip and now whenever I try to book new trip, it says pay rs.185 extra to the next driver.


There is no chat support nor any number you can call on.I submitted message through Help on their app and they respond back after 5 days asking me to clear Rs.185.Inspite of repeated asking them to confirm with the driver, they say they can't confirm cash payments and if possible send the screenshot.Are they nuts ? Fortunately, I had the driver's number and shared the number with them asking them to verify with him but they are kot ready to do so.


Pathetic and ridiculous ..No service ...No support.Treating customers like dogs.


Please avoid uber !

We had booked for a scheduled drive and was confirmed that it would reach by 1: 10 pm.. but waiting till last movement.. there was no confirmation about the trip.. so we had to arrange for ourselves..


So a worst experience I never had with uber.. if they cannot pick up.. they should not confirm for the trip..making us wait till the time they confirmed. Such a stupid app where they don't take responsibility..

The fare in the app was 139but was charged


200 rs bcoz the cab driver took different way that much longer than the distance I booked the cab .


I still have the screen shot of the original fare


and also the booking details.


As the cab driver took a longer way so plz tell me whyI should be penalized for this.

Uber Driver accepts, car does not move, they make you call, when you call they ask drop point, how much it shows, some cancel the trip , others ask for more.


Some accept and say they will come but suddenly will cancel the trip. Again OLA APP searches for another driver. We tend to be late for appointment, miss train


Miss bus. After accepting why should they cancel. They say they are aware of other details only after the type the OTP . The rate fixed is not viable they say

There are frequent refusal of drivers to go to destinations specially in smaller town like our city udaipur , rajasthan. We are trapped in such a situation specially when you have to go to airport.They blackmail for higher price after cancellation on private basis.

Today when I have used uber to transport an ailing family member from hospital to home, I had an awful experience with the Uber cab driver.


Name of the driver was Raju. The cab license plate was KA03AC4242.


The driver remained on the road and refused to bring the car to the the exit door of the hospital in spite of our telling him that the patient is a 79 year old wheel chair bound. He refused to push back the front seat to make the patient comfortable. He used abusive language through out our journey, saying that if we wanted these conveniences, we should get our own car, and that we did not have "aukaat" to travel in an uber. " Tumhaare baap ki gaadi naheen hai".and so on.

Uber charged me twice during my last ride they charged for a year back ride in 2021, when I reached out to them and explainedabout the issue, they just washed off their hands by giving reasons saying this report is 90 days old issue we can'tdo anything now. If it is the case hoe can they charge nowafter a year as a duplicate payment they charges me twice for the same ride even after a year.


Initially they were co operative saying we will look into it and clear the issue types later when I shared the both paid receipts they came back saying all nonsense reasons and stopped responding to my email orchat.


Can anyone help me with how to proceed next steps this is not at all cool , even I attached the below screen shots response from Uber team

I booked yesterday uber for one ride and 8 have few bags. I booked sedan for keep my luggage. But in dicky there is no space to put bags in it. Because of driver own belongings there. And he is very rude not angree to keep bag on seat also. He telling to cancel ride. And I refused to cancel they charged me driver cancel fine. Very bad uber service. They don't have customer value. Also not provided any where customer care no. Uber is not safe. I hate it.

Pls don't use uber service . they r charging how ever they want and leter auto people I'll fight with us . when I book a ride it showed 139 rs after I reach auto person got mes and even in my account should u should pay 580 rs jus for 8 km now tat auto person is calling me daily to give the money I had given him 170 rs insted of 139 even though he is calling uber person has deducted his money so I should give

Both Uber 2 wheelers and 4 wheelers provide bullshit service at the moment . I booked my trip from home to Howrah Station last Saturday , the Uber app showed fare around rupees 360 /- .The driver called and asked what's the fare being shown by app .This is not a new experience as Uber 2 wheelers had been doing this all the time since COVID . I feared my trip might be cancelled and I was not willing to tell the exact amount (said we ll be able to see when my trip ends ) , but the driver had cancelled the trip .High time either Uber should start provide service with humanity or just go off .
