The author, Elisabeth Moon, is one of the most celebrated sci-fi novel writers. Being a big fan of her book, The Speed of Dark, I had to read her other books.

This too is set in the space and revolves around Kylara Vatta. She is the only girl in her family and instead of joining her family business, she decides to join military. She is an adventurous character who has to go through a lot of humiliation.

But, she still manages to prove that she is a brave person on an assignment trip. It is an entertaining tail with a lot of things happening. The characters are believable and especially Kylara. Blend of the story and Moon’s writing makes this novel an interesting space fantasy page turner.
