One of the worst than the worst courier service.
I ordered a product which was sent to me via Trackon couriers. I got the tracking details from the seller, and they were delayed due to some religious ceremony; However, I got no notifications from the courier. When I tracked the details, my courier was already on it's way back to it's origin point, reason being no body at the address even after 3 attempts. It was a fake reason, I reckon nobody from the courier tried to deliver the parcel to my doorstep.
Now, How am I sure about it, see following reasons:
I stay in a society, where we have a security guard and anybody who comes in will have to see him.
In the weirdest of the thoughts, if I consider that the delivery boy missed the security guard all the 3 times, and went straight to my door, it is impossible that he won't find anybody there; My wife stays at home along with my kid, and my parents.
Now, even if I consider that nobody Faizabad the door, there is a common practice with the courier company that they call the customer. They may say we called but it didn't connect, give me a break! There are no network issues, neither at my home, nor at my office; So if I was at any of the places I'd have got a call, at least 1 out of 3 times.
Pathetic! even worse.
I may not blame the whole company for this, but the local agency or the delivery boy, they sure are the culprit. They're spoiling the name.
It happened second time as well, 2 times in a row and the Panjagutta center do not bother to call the customer, they simply return the package mentioning a fake reason.

@mouthshut: please provide option for negative rating as well, above incident is not bad, it's worst, from a service provider point of view.
