Location - Total Mall Sarjapur road. It is pathetic how they treat their customers. They allow pwople to take shopping cart to parking lot and nobody is their to pick them up afterwards. I parked my car and came back to see that some had smashed a cart on my front left side of the car. When I told a employee to arleast remove the cart she told me its not her job, I told her go fetch someone who can remove it to this again she told me its not her job to fetch someone. She was sitting with three other employees chatting away and could not move to get some to clean the mess.


Never going back there again and frankly there are so many options now why go to Total and risk scratching my car again.

Very Happy with the Support to exchange product

Recently I bought some items from Total Mall, Old Airport Road and accidentally lost the bill. Later I realized that I had picked the wrong product in hurry. I went back after 5 days and the manager and the staff were very helpful.


They again generated the duplicate bill and helped me exchange the product with the one I wanted. Even though they were very much occupied (and it was my mistake of loosing the bill), they were very helpful. Really appreciate their humble support. (However the Basement parking is terrible - I was charged Rs. 200 for lost parking slip. I received a manually signed unauthentic slip for it. A bad way to make money. )

I went to Total Mall on Outer Ring Road this morning and was appalled at the state of affairs. For starters, they are doing up the entrance, so one has to go all the way back to enter the premises. One escalator was not working, which means that one has to climb the higher steps of the device. Once, we finished buying the groceries, it was unbelievable to find no cash counters on level 2!!


This is absolutely ridiculous that one has to walk all the way to the end of the first floor to pay. Once, the payment was done, we had to wait for some minutes as the escalator was not working. Nobody is present to answer any queries and the parking is also expensive as they have no hold on that as well. All in all, MORE is a much better bargain and more customer friendly.

Beware..Total Mall rips you off with parking fee

First of all, because of mis-managed queue system we had to wait for long to get to the billing system. Then when the billing was done we realized some of the items were overcharged. This happened almost all the time earlier. So, we promptly reached customer service as usual to get the billing error corrected. This whole exercise took more than an hour, as usual.


But the actual fun began when we took out the car and tried to pay the parking fee. We were shocked to hear that the parking fee is 50 Rs, when compared to earlier parking fee of 20Rs. Parking fee attendant said it is hourly parking fee in Total Mall Sarjapur road. They never told this to us when we entered the mall. I spoke to their manager and he claims they have a board and it is written on the ticket as well and he can not do anything as the policy has been set up by the management. He didn't have an answer when I asked who will pay for an hour we lost due to the mistake of Total mall staff.


Legally they may be right and ethically and morally they may not. I never checked that and I don't bother to check either. Because this would be my last visit to Total mall and will put my best effort to inform all friends about this through my wide network.Intention of this review is to let customers like me know that "beware of the ripping parking fee when you enter Total Mall Sarjapur and they rip you by hours."

VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE

We were a regular customer to TOTAL for years since they started and the customer service of the billing staffs are going down very poor day by day . They dont bill and remove the tags properly. They don't even put the items in the bag, but want the customer themselves to do it.


We once purchased a hand bag, but they didn't remove the tag properly. When we went to total, taking the hand bag, the created a big scene as if we lifted the handbag. Why are the customers have to suffer for their employees mistake. They question us for the tags and ask us to give the bill and give us a proof of bag being billed or not. I had billed the bag along with other items for about Rs 4000/- and the bag is just rs 400/-  by CARD payment and I told them to check it out with their bills record and they took the card n then each n every higher officer or staff came one by one  and asking me the same thing.


This was just bugging and standing in the godown giving answers was a torture . BEWARE OF BILLING GUYS , they are worse than local workers , the placement dept / HR DEPT must be an uneducated ones who does not know how to recruit any worker and train them before exposing to the customer.


I would not recommend any body going to total Mall and am sure everyone who visited TOTAL MALL would ve faced an issue with these bloodies.

Parking horror at Total mall

I went there yesterday only to find that they have established entry barrier at entry. It took more than 10 minutes in Que at the time of exit .


Moreover they charge for parking which is ridiculous given that Total at Bellandur reimburses parking fee if good bought are more than Rs 100 only. Last visit  for me as there are many choices available now

Total Mall, Madivala.


This is completely waste mall. I should call it Slum Mall instead of Total Mall. Never give your car for valet parking in that mall. We gave our car and the parking staff lost our sensor key (worth Rs.3000). Now when we asked them to replace the key, they have been stalling us and saying that we will be getting the quote from the vendor and blah blah.


I am thoroughly disappointed with them and surely even if I ever go to that mall, I will never trust them with my car.

Worst place ever. They have this habit of lying. I got 2 things from there. 1 was induction cooker and another was juicer. I was promised 8 non stick utensils with induction cooker whereas I was given only 7 and juicer they promised me that they will replace it or repair it if there is any problem. juicer did not last even for a day, and then when I went them for repairing. Very arrogantly I was told that its not their responsibility and once sold, its my headache. Even their way of speaking was very rude. I swear and I suggest, no one to go there and get anything.


Instead, go to some small shops. Atleast, they'll listen to what you say.

Beware of prices

For quite sometime, I have observed that price displayed in Total malls are different what comes on the bills. Moreover their sales person has a habit of selecting higher price always when system shows multiple price for the same items. I have raised this issue with them last week and they have assured that this will be taken care of.


Today, I have faced the same issue where price of three items out of 20 items are different from display price.. of course display prices are lesser than bill price. I have also seen couple of customers making similar complaints on the counter. Looks like they are deliberately doing all this. If this is system hiccup, it can't be always in their favour. Bill price is higher than display.


So be careful next time when you shop from TOTAL mall...

These are my experiences with Total mall on Sarjapur Road.


As soon as you enter the mall , smell of Non veg section ( coming from Top floor ) engulfs you. I went to the mall couple of time because of perceived Value for money and proximity to my house. But this horrible Non veg section smell on the 2nd floor is horrible. I can not understand why the Mall management sell Non veg products in an open area, It should be an enclosed area so that the meat products smell is contained in that, however in this mall the section is wide open , whether you are buying vegetables\grocery , you have to leave with that on the whole floor.


Other big complaint is lack of AC on the Mall 1st floor , You end up sweating, suffocating ( thanks to the modern architecture , building are build like - No AC -> No fresh Air intake )


Within a short while you want to move out of the floor.


Staff roams around on the floor just like in a Govt office. If even if you ask them they wont bother to take you to that very place , instead will point fingers here and there.Billing Section is the biggest bottleneck, Bar code scan system is still not evolved in India, A good 30-40% of total time is spent in the queue. I can recall clearly in UK\USA\ Japan , by the time I am still figuring out the Currency notes and coins , the Billing guy is through with billing and waiting for the money.


Simply because , Scanning system is 3D and is embedded on the surface of the billing desk, so counter guy just keep on sliding the items one by one quickly. and within a moment checkout is done.


Anyway , the billing system is same everywhere in India.

Today at around 10 AM I had gone to Total Mall, Sarjapur Road for getting my car cleaned in Car Spa which is located in the Total mall complex. I asked my my wife and son to follow me in another car so that he could pick me up. At the entry the attendant asked for parking charges. I told him that we needed to go to the Car Spa and did not want to park the car. However, he insisted that We pay the parking charges. I paid the parking charges and we went inside the complex. The attendant did not bother to even let me know that the Car Spa was closed. Since the Car Spa was closed, I parked my car inside and went outside to the temple, with my wife and son, in the other car.


After an hour We returend back only to be asked by the attendant to pay parking charges. I told him that we had only come to give the car(which is already parked inside) to the Car Spa and will leave after that. And we had already paid parking charges. The attendant would not listen to us. I asked him to call the Manager. However, the manager also started defending his attendants and he said I would have to pay entry charges each time I entered the mall even though I had to pick up my car from the Car Spa. I pointed out that the receipt that they had issued was for parking not for entry in the mall. I asked him to show the rules that they had formulated or displayed. The manager said that there is no written rule. It is our rule. I also told him that it was the attendant's fault that he did not let us know that the Car Spa was closed. However, the manager would not listen and started saying it is just a matter of Rs.20/- that we are creating such a scene. We told him that it was a matter of principle rather than money and he had no right to fleece customers of their money because there is no display/board that says that car owners have to pay "Entry Fees" for entering the mall; the receipt issued by them clearly indicates that the charges are for parking and for entry; it was their attendant's fault that we had to come back again to give the car for cleaning. However, the manager and attendants refused to hear us.


By this time, I was already quite upset about the entire thing and decided not to give the car for cleaning. I plan to send a legal notice to the Total Management for their unethical practices and misbehaviour.

RISK YOUR LIFE AT TOTAL MALL, SARJAPUR

On 19th, My wife and son went to Total at Sarjapur.


While they were coming down the lift, there was crash sound and lights fall down and broke. Lift stopped midway and no light, door jammed. For 45 mins no one for rescue. Buzzer does not work. No one knows where the security, manager and keys available. Somehow they came out. My son Black out and no one to offer water.


God saved but till today no one came back fronm total. WE WILL TAKE THIS ISSUE FURTHER


ALL CUSTOMERS PLS TAKE CARE. LIFE AT RISK AT TOTAL AND NO ONE TO RESCUE.

Be care about lot of billing mistakes

When you look for some offer and buy the item, in Billing original amount will be billed instead of offer amount.


If you are not careful, you will end up loosing in money. when you approach customer care, which is worst care. they will simply say sorry, and convey message saying it dept not updated prices.


After complaints also, they won't update, even next day same billing mistake you can find out. Just cheating customers . when you buy lot of things with trust, you really won't have time or big bill you can't verify so carefully. this weakness of customers they are en-cashing.


So next time, please be care while buying offer items.

Total Mall should be re-named as Total Gol-Mall


Never buy any furniture. Its cheaper outside and you get better service. I regret falling for their full page ads


and buying a sofa set and few furniture. Delivery was late and the furniture arrived with damages. When confronted, they asked us to send the furniture and they would replace it. The staff is very unfriendly and and uncouth.

Poor Customer Service Experience

I had purchased a Eveready rechargeable battery set. There were two products of the same brand on inquiring the sales person said that this will work fine, however when I bought it home I found that it could only charge only 2 small batteries (AAA) and when I took the same prod with the bill back to the store they said that they could not replace the prod as they don"t have once which could charge all with the 4 small batteries (AAA). I spoke to a manager (Anand) he was helpless and he gave me an option to purchase anything within 10 day. This is called forced purchase!


I am disappointed that when I asked for Anand"s supervisor to escalated this issue, for which I waited for 15 min and I get a response that noting could be done. How rude could that be. I wanted to know who is that customer service manager who is so busy not to meet a customer help solve his issues.


POOR SERVICE AND INEFFICIENT STAFF!!! Learn from your mistakes or you never grow....

Insects from Sofa Set. Display items are shipped.

Purchased a sofa set, which was delivered in 10 Working days. After 10 days, insects started coming out of Sofa set. I got replacement for the Sofa, after a lot of fight and showing a video proof of the issue.


Purchased WashingMachine & Refrigerator, both of them were DEMO pieces from the store, which had a lot of scratches, when I went and asked them on this, the representative told that "I should have inquired, why BEST OFFER discount was being given on products, and all BEST OFFER products are DEMO pieces".


It was told that it was my mistake of purchasing such ones, He's the floor manager. Kindly never purchase FURNITURE and CONSUMER ELECTRONICS items from Total Mall. Learned an expensive lesson. Customer support is very very poor. Total Mall is running only because of it's location and no-competition in Madiwala area.

Parking tickets demanded back

Why does Total collect the parking that is rightfully a proof of payment, from the customer? They DEMAND it back. Something fishy going on there. Are they resellign them and making money on the side? Happens at sarjapur road and mahadevapura.

Rewarding weekdays from Total mall - Not much use

Hi,


In the rewarding Weekdays booklet it was mentioned that the rice with MRP 32/kg bill be given at discount rate of 24.90/Kg. But was surprised to see that they are giving the rice of MRP 30/Kg on this offer. I have asked the supervisor about this but he said they have got instructions to give 30/Kg but not 32/kg rice.I am not sure about the offers on the other products in the booklet. I have visited Mahadevapura outer ring road shopping mall and not sure if the same happening with the other malls too.
