Toshiba Canvio Simple 3 O 500 Gb External Hard Drive

This is very good Hard disc .it is used in savral years, I have also used it.there are used savral persons also.

I am using Toshiba External Hard Drive's, I buy recently Toshiba Canvio simple 3 O 500 Gb External Hard drive, I am still using 2010 model Toshiba External Hard Drive HDDR600E04X untill now there is no issues with that, I bought this Toshiba Canvio two years back this one also I am still using without any complaints. Both are in good working condition. There is nothing to say about this product, Thanks to Toshiba for saving my valuable Data.

I bought 2 years ago and it still functioning pretty well it processing in a fast way when it comes to uploading to PC ( copying or cutting/moving) it has no problem at all if you remember daily to scan with antivirus from PC especially if you kept many importants files like videos, Music or documents you should take care seriously or it's going to a trash.

I bought this hard drive because my pc storage was full .Then I transferred my data at first it was good it had a 50/mbps write speed and auound same read speed .

But after a couple of months the hard drive got courupted and I had no other choise but to format it so I did , but since then the write speed went down to 5 mbps the read speed is fine but I since then did not got my wirite speed back .

I contacted customer service they said I should format it and there is no other way then said nothing can be done now.

And now if have used a little over 400 gb out of 465 available space and now I cannot write anything in this hard drive its write speed decrease to 1mbps .

So I just now have a hard disc in which I cannot write anymore but can only read .

The reading speed is down to about 20 mbps .

It was my first external hard disc and it was my worst experience.

Lenovo hard disk are the worst .

This hard disk is slim , fast data transfer but only problem is heating. It heats up very quickly with few minutes . I also have a WD external hard disk which is slightly longer in height but never heats so easily . So if you dont have any problem with heating and want a slim and portable hard disk go for it .

Advantage with Toshiba is that its service centres are located in india with easy service but WD & SEAGATE are american and dont have services centers in india.

this is a good choice seeing other things.

I have been using my toshiba canvio simple 3 hard disk since 6 months and I am quite impressed with its performance. it was simple and easy to use, my Pros so far.

1.Very fast data transfer(USB 3.0(maxes out at 5gbps).

2.Its quite durable.

3.Not cheap but affordable at 3000( when we bought).

I will suggest to buy this HDD to any one who are searching for a 500 GB HDD, please go ahead and have a happy buying.

This hard disk very use full with USB 3.0 .Tihis hard disk is the best.I have been using it for more than one 1 mounth it works perfect and the 3.0 USB boost the file traansfer speed .The hard disk is perfect in fast file transferring big data like movies, games, and mainly to backup large files.thats amazing with USB3.0. and I thanks full to TOSHIBA.and the hard disk dimension is 7.9 x 11.9 x 1.7 cm.

but I am not satisfied with design, bcz this not looks cool.only one plus point is about its speed of file transffering.so if you want to buy for fast file trasffering, then U CAN.thank you.
