I booked a cab from the club on Brigade Road Bangalore to the airport while booking I was told the the cost would be Rs 675/ the journey was to start at 2.30pm but at 12.30 the driver phoned and told me that I should wake him up at 2pm further my journey started at 2.30pm and when we reached Hebbal he diverted the car to a service road and said that the main road was under repair I phoned to there office but it was of no use the driver was very rude and was shouting at us. Please be very careful and alert while travellers in Cel Cab

First time I booked with celcabs. 3am pickup, booked 8 hours before. Got a confirmation SMS. Driver details was messaged before an hour to start. Ride was good. Well maintained car and professional driver. They have 24/7 customer support on phone and WhatsApp. Only disadvantage is that you will not get bill over mail and they do not offer cashless service.


I would definitely recommend using service and then decide. Me too was sceptical after seeing too many negative feedback.

I arranged a cab for 8 several hours for Rs 2000. As per discussion I was likely to pay Rs 175 for each extra hour. So when I finished my own trip driver started asking Rs 1200 with an extra hour. Most disgusting portion is, customer care also reinforced this nonsense.


When I refused to cover that unfair amount both of which started started threatening with law enforcement officials. Driver went to police and I dont know very well what happened there, he came back at 4 O'clock each day and asked me to pay out the fair amount Rs 2300. Advice to the master of celcabs: Correct your staff and also policy, else celcabs will come to an end of business.

We booked our cab for travel from Bangalore to Mysore & Mysore to Coorg in October 2015 via CelCabs call center service.


Problem 1: They do not provide an email confirmation


Problem 2: Cabs are unclean, smelly and not very well maintained either.


Problem 3: If you ask the driver to reduce A/C temperature they behave as if you have asked for an interest free loan, very bad attitude.


Problem 4: Driver skipped Bangalore - Mysore expressway even when I insisted on taking one as my infant has motion sickness and I was ready to pay extra toll. This cost us an hour more.


Problem 5: Mysore to Coorg they do not have their own cabs and hence provided a vendor whose reliability you are not sure of. The driver was very rash and didn't know the location we wanted to reach. Costed us an additional hour again.


Problem 7: Actual fare was 20% more than the quoted fare.


Problem 6: When asked for a receipt, driver told me you will get receipt over email, I didn't get it for some time and hence checked with their call center, call center fellow told me its my fault that I did not take the receipt after my drive was over and they do not send any email and I will not get any receipt.


Unprofessional, Unreliable & ill Maintained, strictly avoid.

Had booked a celcab to travel from Mangalore to uppala.The driver stopped at the kerala check post to get his entry permit stamped and pay blrder tax. Seeing others return after makin payment taking not more than 10 mins.I grew suspicious.


It took him 50 min to return to cab making us wait by the road.when asked.he started arguing about the long queue while there was no queue found.I reached late to the venue. When I complained to the ofc and later to an MD called Mr Srinivas.he started justifying the driver and not accepting responsibility for the behavior of the driver.Cant understand what kind of company would neglect customers over their drivers mistake.

Utterly disappointed with the services being provided by cel cabs.  Absolutely horrible service. Had taken an appointment on Tuesday for a saturday drive to chilkoor at 5.00AM, but got a call on friday night at 9.30 PM that your appointment has been cancelled. Never ever should anyone travel by CELCABS, thats my humble request to all. Secondly, they need to learn how to talk to customers.


They absolutely have no manners of how to talk to a customer, using very crass language while talking. I hope this message is well conveyed to the owner of this cab service. Please stop this business of providing cab services, you are hopeless at this occupation.


Kindly shut down your business and sit at home.

Such a disgusting experience with this cab .Last week we have to arrive for delhi airport with my uncle n cousin.


We discussed all the charges and fares to the customer care. After that when the taxi driver arrived he started an argument over the fares in the middle of the journey and literally he started talking absurdly to my uncle n aunt. Lastly we decided that we never book this kind of cab for anywhere.

I had booked the cab in advance for important work, they give me PNR with confirmed booking. it was cancelled couple of hours before my journey start time.   if you check the status, they mark it as customer cancelled, they are fraud, never use this cab.


I had tough time to rearrange cab. JCL is better.

Never use celcab. Starting from their driver to  customer service executive to manger all are unprofessional and unethical people.  They will cheat like you anything. even after complaining several times they won't bother to reply. When you on  your call them they will  blame you instead  of  solving your issue.


I had very bad experience  recently. I  had a trip to Mysore from bangalore  recently. before  the trip I asked them  several times about the approximate to and fro charges. as per them it was max  2000-2300(350 km@6.5 pkm).  When I came from the trip I  was surprised to see the meter reading 566 km.(a one day mysore to bangalore trip). and the driver charged me 4300 rs. At night 11pm with my family  I didn't feel to fight with the driver. But very next day I asked them to  send a quotation for the trio with all the places I visited in the trip just to varify and a have proof with my self. I got a similar reply they gave me over the phone  of around 2500. With this proof I complained that the  driver has  cheated me by tampering the meter. I followed them several times.  They never bothered to reply or call back me even though promised me several times.After that finaly I called their manger  who replied that it was my fault not note down the reading every place.


Yes it was my fault not to  note down he reading  but  I thought there  is always a value of trust. I  believed the driver a lot. So he proved me wrong.


Can any one imagine by any root in a one day trip to mysore ever be 566 km from bangalore.?


Anyway it was great lesson to me. Shame on you cel cab.


It will be last deal with  the cheat cel cab. I request every body think twice before go for cell cab. meter tampering is their birth right. Stay  away from cel cab if you wish not to be cheated.

NOW I AM NOT GOING TO USE CELCABS. Hello Everyone, I have utilized the Cab Service from CEL CABS recently in Bangalore.


I am very much DISAPPOINTED with their service.




  1. Celcabs does not send the agreed vehicle.




  2. Don't come on agreed time.




  3. Driver behave like as he has taken your family for a trip on his expense. No manner.




  4. CHARGE YOU MORE MONEY then actual agreed amount. For me they have charged Rs.1000/- extra after the agreed Rs. per kilometer calculation.






If anybody need, I can give complete details with kilometer started and ended. Thanks.

Booked Celcabs to Yeshwantpur Rlystn to drop my parents who are both above 70. After telling the driver the exact place to drop and even the way to go, he dropped them at the other end of the railway station. Not only that, in the hurry to get all the luggage they left a few of their personal belongings in the car. We followed up with the driver and the help desk for the things.


For a month the driver kept dodging us saying that whenever he got a drop or pick to our area he would return it. We finally asked him to drop the things at the cel cabs office. After that every call to the driver from different phones, he would divert the call to the owner of the cab who got furious with our calls. when we asked the help desk for help they said, "Sir/Mam when you get out of the car you should check your things we cannot help you." this and many other replies, like "What can we do? you talk to the driver". This is what they call service. Any taxi can give this kind of service .


Request all users to be vary. its better to give 100 Rs more and use some other taxi service. Atleast you wont lose your peace of mind.


Overcharging drivers - Its like an auto rickshaw!

I just booked this cab from my house in Indira Nagar to Bangalore airport. The distance by meter is 39 kms. By Indigo car(15rs/km) the amount comes out to be  585 rupees. The driver demanded me 650 rupees!


Interestingly, I also received an sms telling me that the charges are 650 rupees(apparently he charged me 65 rupees extra for a "Toll" which was nowhere to be seen during the journey)!


I tried to lodge a complaint to their customer service, the guy cut my phone. I called again and talked to him very politely, he accused me of using abusive language and again cut the phone. I believe there are much better options in the city. Its cab drivers are "gundas" like those auto drivers we see on the roads. And customer care service! Just another army of dumb fools!

Pros:




  • Fairly Reliable in turning up on time regularly




  • Just needs a couple of hours of advance intimation to the call center




  • Fairly well maintained fleet of cabs: specially the Indigo range




  • Definitely cost effective for the organized cab category






Cons




  • Irresponsive call center executives




  • Call center takes all the number, address and contact details of the consumer; but will not pass it on to the driver! leading to umpteen number of calls by the drivers soon after the booking is confirmed




  • Drivers do not contact the call center folks to get this information for company policy( strange as it may sound)




  • Drivers at times dont even call up the consumer if they have reached the site or not




  • If you insist on not being disturbed after booking either the call center or driver would even suggest if the booking can be cancelled: such is the absolute arrogance of these folks




  • Even if the address and the contact details are knwon to the driver, I dont understand why on earthy they keep on calling up the consumer for the directions: why cant they just find their way out? why cant they navigate their way to the consumer address?




  • Drivers would be annoyed( instead the consumer should be) if the consumer would not attend to the calls. Then why on earth consumer must provide all that contact details to the contact center?




  • Irresponsive consumer feedback cell:nor the email ids of the Owner or Proprietor would work




  • Call center pushes for the high end cabs even though you ask specifically for Tata Indica.




  • There are no electronic meters in most of the Indica fleet of cabs; nor are they maintained properly




  • However, saving grace, they do provide accurate billing basing on the normal meter reading: no issues so far






But if you were to put up with this then definitely its a OK cab service.


Guess call center must ensure that all the details are properly conveyed to the driver; and drivers are specifically instructed to interact with the office than the consumer to find out the address and other stuff.

I just want to share my worst experience with cel cab, I booked the taxi Indica from cel cab rate is 14 rs / km on 2012, Oct 29, from IIMB to Whitefield(Kannemanga village), At the time of booking I told pickup and destination address clearly they had noted it down as well, but when we reached to destination, driver starts asking 150 rs extra saying this location is out of city, I told him that everything is already discussed at the time of booking, they didn't tell anything extra that time. then he started shouting and told that  i will not give ur luggage unless u will pay 150 extra.


Then I called again to celcab executives and confirmed it, but driver kept saying that she is call centre lady and she does not know anything, you have to pay it, otherwise I will not give ur luggage. and also I booked Indica(14 rs/km), thay sent Indgo(15 rs /Km) but driver told that this is indigo excel and this rate is 16 rs/km, even rate also again I confirmed with executive lady, but driver couldn't agree to any point and he charged me 16 rs /km rate and also 150 extra. Even he called to other employee in cell cab and got support from him to behave like that.

CelCabs - Un-reliable Un-Professional Service

Booked a CelCab online atleast 30 hrs before the pick-up time. Online request registration acknowledged the request was register and said someone will call back or SMS within 1hr with a confirmation. No one called for 6-7 hrs.


When I called to the customer service number(20hrs before the pick-up) the person even without asking request number or any details mentions that the there are no CABs available and disconnects the phone.


On calling the CelCabs Customer Service Public Relationship Officer, she responds as though it is normal to NOT respond to customer and sub-standard service is what we deliver. On probing more she mentioned some event and all of their cabs are booked. She did not even bother to apologize.


Sub-standard and un-professional service seems to be standard with this company.


TO OWNER OF THIS COMPANY: Please "cel" your company before your employee sell it for you.


Read my lips "DO NOT RELY ON THIS CAB COMPANY FOR RELIABLE SERVICE."

Cel Cabs provide horrible service. Most of my friends including me have gone through bad experience with this cab service and  not once but many times. They will book the cab, send booking confirmation msg in your mobile and then before 1 hour of your scheduled time, they will cancel the cab without producing any valid reason. They do not value customers.


So, unless you want to miss your flight/train/bus, do not book this cab service.
