The book is filled with side stories, most of which are dreadful and none of them are especially engaging. A highly romanticised narrative of a woman who drowned herself while pregnant with an unborn child was included near the conclusion. How peacefully and sweetly the seas enveloped her. That is the flaw with this book. A tour of some of England's most dull cities, highly humorous situations interspersed with purple prose, and anything else the author thought would help flesh out the story and be "educational" caught my attention. This could be edited down to an extremely funny book that is just about a third of the length.

Coming to the review of this book , I have experienced dramatic , fun, action, sentence punchuality, and more .its a journey of three men.this story is splitted into parts.a dog also comes in this story.it says about humanity and a selfdom.we experience some kind of entertainment and feel of dramatic combination.the whole journey speaks about lot many things.this is a fun fact story book that we all must read to get out of stress.

Three men in a boat is about a travelogue along the river Thames from Kingston to Oxford and from Oxford to Kingston. This book was originally supposed to be a serious travelogue but some humorous accounts throughout the journey spun it off as a comic novel.

Three men in a boat was super successful but yet generations after generations its original humorous luster dimmed and it turned into a boring book for everyone else.

The story is actually a real story where the author and his three friends who are tired of working continuously and want a holiday, they come up with different ideas but they settle on a short two week trip up River Thames.

If you read it carefully then the book has all the landmarks they cross detailed, as this was supposed to be a travelogue The author has described every monument beautifully.

The comical events throughout the book are supposed to give the story a light humorous flair which it also attains without any extra effort by the author.

All the characters in the book are original except for the dog which the writer claimed was purely fictional. The three characters were real life friends, however Jerome said that the element of having a dog seemed to fit the story like a glove and hence Montemorency was brought to life.

The books is witty and funny, there are some sentimental paragraphs that counter the book's humor but gives an insight in the author's life as well.

From the friends thinking about the diseases they would like to have to the ending of their trip this book itself is an adventure which gives you smiles and laughter.

I would recommend to read it once, not for the purpose of answering questions in an exam but as one of the friends of the writer. Go with them on a two week journey of wits, laughter and trouble!

There are three friends who wants to travel because of our boring life they decided to travel with the boat and famous places but they travel with problems, which teaches more things for us. Good book one time you have to read this book in your life.

One of the Cbse recognised novel in india.Its is really amazing it consiste of love, revange, pet love and the main thing that is friendship. This story is all about an oyage because of there restless work. All the three have the same problem that is restless. So as per docter saggesion these three go on a oyage three they meet some challenges, some terefing situations exsetra. When comes to book it is really very nice to read. This book is better than my expectation. I read this book 10 times and every time I feel a lovely humorous. It is Great fiction story that I read. Jarome K Jarome really great write His way of writing the story is very great. he explains the story in a funny way and no one could be bored. His way of explaining the small issue make them great. Three man in a boat is not only humorous but also an informative story. It gives us great knowledge about Britain antique things and kings. It is an adventure story too. at last, I recommend you, you must read this Novel at any cost.

Wow, I read this in my ninth class and was really impressed by writing style! I would certainly recommend this book to anyone!

The thought portrayal by the author was impeccable and you would be greatly impressed.

The humour was extraordinary and would leave you laughing for considerable amount of time all by yourself.

It sometimes gets too descriptive and boring and that's the only drawback.

But still. It's a must read!

This books bring the hilarious part of three men along with their dog the best companion, when they travel and take off for 2 weeks away from the everyday stress of life.

A humor and relaxing experience is what the reader will get on completing this book, the 3 men cross the Thames rives in England. Three man in a boat is writer by author Jerome K Jerome, in this book 3 men went for 2 week holiday on Thames river with a dog name Montmorency, THe three man are the friends which want to get relieve from stress and workload so they decide to go on a trip without their wife .

THREE MEN IN A BOAT is my first novel that I have read in my class 9th. After reading this book all my worst idea about the novel vanishes quickly.

I read this book because I was studying in a CBSE school in which that novel was part of our English syllabus. Before that I never read any kind of novel in my life. This book is a amazing and full of fun and the more interesting thing is that they have a dog whose name is Montmorency. The dog added too many interesting and beautiful memory in that book.

From the beginning of the story to ending we cannot stop our laughing. Writer, George and Harris all were a half mad guys. They decided to go for a boat ride. In that event they made so much fun that you can't believe without read that book. The most important chapter is The Packing in that chapter they fight with each other for packing but no body knows how to pack a simple thing. There are so many interesting chapter are there and there is also videos are available you can prefer.

From my opinion all the student who are in class 8-10 to read the book because from this book you can get enough hard word English that will develop your English. And my advice to all to read the book atleast once that will make you laugh.

A great book written by - jerome publish in 1989, the story is about 2 week holidays on Thames river in a boat.

The three men are based on Jerome himself and two real-life friends, and a dag with them.

the story begins with introduction of characters in the novel, the friends of jerome and jerome decided the holiday to remove the stress of work and refresh their mind to over come from their workload .

This is an interesting novel. Very beautiful story with very interesting plot. Amazing book for everyone to be read. Jerome had presented this novel very beautifully. THREE MEN IN A BOAT is an amusing account of three friens jerome, harris and george and ofcourse thier dog montemorency, while on their little boat journey. The comic flavours of this novel can be tasted from the beginning. the beauty of the novel lies in its simplicity which have a timeless universal appeal. once you start reading it you may lost in the world of this book completely and there is only one way to discover its beautiful world-you must read it!

This book is amazing . I have read this book times. This novel was included in my syllabus when was I in my school.

It has been described as the typical English was of comedy. And so it is.

The humor is buttered with rawness and are satirical in nature. Humor in this novel comes out of the way humans behave and deal with small thing in daily life. It is mixture of arrogance in everything. Well, the three men in boat were of three different natures. They were trying to spend together a rowing trip. There were trying hard to make it success.

There were times of happiness through the trip. Also, sometimes were low in spirit. But, this is the beauty of this noble. It does not intends to make one laugh on purpose. But it just present the things( with small details) the way they are. The very innocence of the presentation makes it humors.

If you are looking for a plot which entertain you, then, this is the perfect one. You must go for it.
