A Counterintuitive approach to living a good life. This is a book by MARK MANSON, it is a nonfiction book that contains nine chapters having many short, interesting stories in between the chapters.
The world that we live in demands much from us leaving many people to care too much about the things that surround them how do we care less?
simple, we don't, Manson describes principles that we can all use to create a life on our terms, not beholden to others' influence or demands.
The philosophical nature of his arguments is similar to reading academic literature on philosophy but told humorously and annoyingly. Do not be put off by the title. The arguments and thoughts of the author are profound, suggesting ways for us all to find the things that we care about the most and focusing solely on these.
I enjoyed the storytelling ability of the author when analyzing topics that could be quite dry otherwise.
This all build up to into a book that inspires to create a mindset that cannot be influenced by anyone or anything.
I have to admit, I was skeptical when I first picked up "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck" by Mark Manson. The title alone seemed like it was trying too hard to be edgy and attention-grabbing. But as I started reading, I quickly realized that this book is much more than just a catchy title.
Manson''''s no-nonsense approach to self-help is refreshing and honest. He doesn''''t sugarcoat things or try to offer easy solutions to life''''s problems. Instead, he challenges readers to confront their own values and priorities, and to embrace the discomfort and uncertainty that comes with making difficult choices.
What I appreciate most about this book is that it doesn''''t pretend that life is always going to be rainbows and sunshine. In fact, Manson argues that the pursuit of constant happiness and positivity is actually counterproductive and can lead to more anxiety and stress. Instead, he encourages readers to accept that life is inherently flawed and messy, and to focus on what truly matters to them, even if it means letting go of some things that may have once seemed important.
Overall, "The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck" is a refreshing and insightful read that challenges readers to embrace their own imperfections and prioritize what truly matters to them. Manson''''s irreverent tone and practical advice make this a book that I will definitely be recommending to my readers, friends and family.
YOUR RATING ON
Go for 'The Subtle Art Of Not Giving A Fck' if you wish to know why Yours Truly is loving it. I genuinely don't give a rat's posterior anyway. But, honestly, this one nails the counter-intuitive way of finding whatever is amiss in life. Just wish that everybody reads it, and tries to have an unbottled, unflinching existence, because as the author says in his another book, "Everything is Fcked"! Find your hopeless realism taking you to a higher plane. At least, for me it worked. I don't ( work) , not in the denotational sense of the word. Because, my over-ambitious, over-expecting, over-unreal side just got sidelined. Read This Book!
I have read quite a few self help books, but this book is very different from the rest. It gives you a harsh reality check on yourself with respect to how you think or enact with others.
I have read this book a dozen of times and it always motivates and uplifts me.
This book is surely recommended to anyone, it does really help!
This book will undoubtedly capture your notice due to its bright orange cover and odd title! This is something Mark Manson should be proud of. If it hadn't been pointed out to me, I doubt I would have noticed it. Okay. Regardless of whether you appreciate the book, get anything useful out of it, or apply any of the knowledge stated in it to your life, I believe you will like the way it is written, the language used, and the general pleasant experience of reading a book that I would confidently characterize as "Unconventional Wisdom." This was an excellent book to read. Many of the instances and examples described by the author strike me as quite relatable. Putting the same mindset into practice in your own life, on the other hand, may be difficult. If you can put it into practice the manner the author intends, I believe you will have a successful life. This book, in my opinion, is quite useful for people who worry over minor details. The book will teach you how to concentrate on the broad picture while ignoring the tiny issues that have no influence on your life.
As the title suggests, Mark Manson leaves no stone unturned while schooling readers on how to develop as a human being. Providing a perspective that's seldom seen before, this book personifies a brutal therapist that sees your potential and is accelerating you to your best self.
The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fck has entered the self-help scene and changed its definition. While most books of this genre are riddled with self-fulfilling prophecies, sound advice, and feel-good narratives, Mark Manson reveals the ugly truth; that we're not as significant as we'd like to believe, that life is hard but more often than not we make it harder, the importance of realising that we're not always right, and how to not overreact.
If you're ready for some jarring constructive criticism and personal attacks on some of your bad habits(don't say you don't have any), then you're reading the right book. And if you're not ready, you need this book now more than ever.
Well as the name suggest and is more than enough to tell what iis it's all about, yeah it's about how to deal with this today's fast facing world and cope and have peace in yourself.
The book consists of 9 chapters and it is as follows-
1)Don't try
2)Happiness is problem
3)You are not special
4)The value of suffering
5)You are always choosing
6)You're wrong about everything
7)Failure is the way forward
8)The importance of saying no
9).And then you die
well this book can help you with those social anxiety, like what people think about you, also the importance of saying people no as it is not always good saying yes to everybody, you need to take your stand.
I think I have told you enough about the book and I think yuou should grab one of your copy and have a read with a nice strong coffee.
Hope you like my review.
Thank you.

Writer has brilliantly generalize the situation we all go through and how we actually think about it. Each and every line is so deep that it literally touches your soul. This book will definitely make you optimistic and will have huge impact in your life.

Subtle art of not giving a this book is a need for everyone. This book speaks alot its teach us how not to give attention about things which are not meant for us and only we should give a attention & dedication about things and event which are immediate and important.
Mark manson also gives us advice about how to handle our emotion and not letting the emotions over power us. This book will make you realize that how we waste our time on focusing on things which are really worthless, and we go on giveing damn about it.
The best book I have ever read so far, this book gave me a better perspective of life. Highly recommended this book it's like talking to a friend that gives you good advice when needed and tells you about that its okay to not be positive all the time. It covered so many real stories so we can better understand the situations in our life's. This book told the hard truth about life. I love the language and the way the author portrayed his thoughts that directly speaks to you and make you think through certain life decisions. Must read!
This is one of the best of Self Help Books. This book helps an individual to survive in the current constraints. People who are facing stress and depression issues can overcome these conditions by applying this book's way of life.
This book speaks about various things that should be taken into account. It is a good read for every teenagers out there who are looking for something close to extraordinary, this is not a book on "How To Be Positive" because we all know that being optimistic all the time is something we want. Mark Manson has a different approach on life which doesn't fit the norm and gives us a whole another perspective which will knock some sense into our heads. Only way to live a happy life is when you stop caring about things that don't matter. The author talks about some real life incidents and how it can resonate with the reader, every chapter in this book emphasizes that we shouldn't care about things which are not under our control. It is a page turner and I would highly recommend this book for every teenager out there who is looking for something which gives them a clear vision on life.

The Subtle Art of Not Giving a Fck: A Counterintuitive Approach to Living a Good Life is the FCC first book by blogger and author Mark Manson. In it Manson argues that life's struggles give it meaning, and that the mindless positivity of typical self-help books is neither practical nor helpful. It was a bestseller.
Wow! What a great book! The subtle art of not giving fck is great book. But it is not like other motivational books that says you have to avoid problems.
This books contain lessons that says that to be happy in your life you must have problems, so more you solve problem, more you will be happy. Without problems you will not be happy.
Often many times we give lot of importance to unimportant thing that is we gives many fucks. This book says give fcks to only important things in your life.
Also author had given lot of examples that will help you to understand the concept.
So, this is must read book by mark manson and this book is not like other so called motivational books, this is very different and this book touched my heart.
