The Steak Factory, New Alipore, Kolkata

Thank you everyone for getting some of your valuable time out to read my review. If you are in for some proper american style steaks then look no more, this is the place for you.They have a few branches in kolkata now and almost all of them serve the similar quality though this is their mother hub. I have visited them quite a lot of times and if you ask me they the the best place to visit for some mouth watering cuisines when you are even tight on a budget. If we talk about the food, they are real tasty and healthy and one dish is enough for one serving. The presentation looked simple and the authentic bbq sauce or the mushroom sauce with their steaks was just the icing on the cake for me. their beef burgers or the surf n turf steaks are just too good. When you walk inside the joint you will see an american retro style dining with comfy seating arrangement, minimalist design and you will immediately get into the vibe. The only downside is their customer service as I believe they are a bit on the slower side on delivering the food as it took over one hour to get are food to the table. I would request the management to work on it. But when finally we come about pricing this is just the best thing about this place. A normal average burger would cost you around 250 bucks and the steaks start around 399 bucks which is pretty cheap according to me. this place is for all those old friends reunions and some cool peaceful dinner with you family or loved ones.

To quickly sum up my review here are the pros and cons:

Pros: 1. excellent food, 2.minimalist decoration, 3.cozy ambiance with good music playing in the background, 4. Value for money

Cons:1. serving time should be a little less.

As the title states, the steak factory located at Alipore right next to gupta's sweets is now my favorite food joint primarily because the place serves authentic American cuisine. My first visit to this place was November, 2014 and since then I have never looked back.The place was a wonderful first time experience, from the amazing country side ambiance, the soft and soothing country side music in the background to light up the mood, and the perfect humble and friendly customer service by the staff

They serve a wide variety of American and Mexican delicacy including the legendary steaks, burgers and tacos .It is a complete non alcoholic place but they do serve  mocktails  which is worth a try, specially "Virgin Mojito " . My all time favorite is the double chicken burger in which the meat is grilled nicely or just the way you would want them to, fresh and exotic veggies and their special barbecue sauce.

One should also try their mutton or chicken steak which is grilled just the way you want which includes, Well done/Semi/Nicely done.Along with the nice juicy piece of steak they serve a platter of boiled assorted vegetables and a bowl of steak gravy with mashed butter potatoes.Go to this place and trust me you will not be disappointed. Pros:

1. Great ambience, good themed setting.nice n clean presentation of the west; sensible choice of music

1. Waiters are friendly but they need to be more lively.cause that's how it is in the west

3. Ordered chicken quesadilla for a starter - it took them more than 30mins to come back and say they cant serve cause the they burnt it

   
   

Good part is they didn't serve the burnt food. Rather they owned up the mistake. And in the end, to make the great Chocolate Montecarlo better, they put it on the house! Nice gesture. Loved it.

So if you ask me, yes I was happy to visit this place.!
