This book have a separate fan following across the india, there is so many points is the best outcome of this book. The character of Sati is the center of the book ; the way Amish gave the importance to this character is very appreciative step towards woman empowerment. In today's society where everyone wants boy child instead of girl child ; there Amish shows a very positive massage through the character of Sati. While Prajapati Daxa represents a moral view towards girl child, where he is so proud and thankful for having girl child.

On the other hand the great thing about this book is that where Amish use the very ancient timeline for the book but still he gave scientific reason for every aspects in the book. For example ' Nagas ', here Amish gave a remarkable importance to community of Nagas. A society where everyone believes that the one who born with deformities are crushed; but Amish changed this mentality in books.

And our society where everyone is still believe in superstitions, like a widow can not remarry, importance of boy child, and so other, Amish breaks all this superstitions where Shiva's marriage with Sati. And when Sati and Shiva accept their Naga child. It's a kind of rebellion act.

This is amazing book shows that yes we can change for good and instead of focus on superstitions we must learn to welcome the good change.

Book - The Secret of Nagas Author- Amish Tripathi Book Price-350This Book is the second installment of the Siva Trilogy. This book is based on the frictional premise of Lord Siva. If you want to read this story you have to read the first part of the Siva Trilogy, The Immortal of Meluha. This book is available in English, Bengali, Tami, Telugu, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Kannada, etc. I read the Bengali version of the book. It's a quite boring story. Some part of the story is too extended for no reason. And the Thrill portions are not up to the mark for a thriller. No character in this book is completely involved in the emotion of the story exception Lord Siva. Some of the twists in the story are so bizarre that it feels very forced. It's good for one time read. Many people thought that It's a phenomenal piece of literature but actually, it's not. It's an overrated book. But also anyone can read this book and enjoy this in their free time. Books like -Azadi: Fascism. Fiction by Arundhuti Roy, Nationalism by Rabindranath Tagore, The monk who old Ferrari by Robin Sharma, Ravan Raavan: The enemy of Aryavarata by Amish Tripathi, etc are far better than this kind of books & this kind of book is the roots of literature. As you all know that this is the second part of immortals of meluha and this is also another fabulous book of Amish. This book is available in Hindi and English as far as I know. In comparison to the previous part, it is less interesting but a great book and story line. As Amish is good in presentation, this book also goes into a fluent way describing each and every moment happening in the scene. The new characters introduced is also interesting and nicely presented. Overall if you read the previous part, you cannot resist yourself to read this book.

I was eagerly waiting for this book so that I can again enter the world of Shiva. Actually I never want come back. Thanks Amish Tripathi for taking me to the world that I never new, and that I feel my own. The storyline never gets you bored. Full of philosophy, romance, knowledge, inspiration, motivation to make the world a better place. If you have read the first part of this book, you know I can never fully describe what an amazing book this is.

The Secret of the Nagas is the second edition of The Shiva Triology by the indian author Amish Tripathi.It begins where The Immortals of Meluha left off, where Shiva trying to save Sati from the invading Naga who were the root cause of evil and also to take revenge of Shiva's brother Brahaspati's death.

Tha author has nicely shaped with his own geographical and mythological knowledge.He has been successful in putting his imagination of what if god were humans.

Depend on the curiosity it builds to enjoy the book.

The Secret of the Nagas is the sequel to the first book The Immortals of Meluha, a national bestseller. It arouses the readers thought into the concepts of good and evil. As the name emphasizes, the book is a suspense thriller which encompasses a shocking revelation at the end. Really need to appreciate Amish for his exceptional geographic descriptions which is beautifully visualized in the book. One would get engrossed in this gripping saga of a tribal leader turned God, in his quest of finding evil and ultimately bringing an end to it.

This is the second instalment of the Book: The Immortals of Meluha and this follows the same storyline to next level where Nagas are no more Enemies.

Shiva(Mahadev) now comes to know the secret of the birth of the Nagas and the the details about the Somras. He now takes this in his command to get rid of this situation and helps Nagas to do so.

This story goes completely in the favour of the Nagas where the birth of Naga was considered as the worst sin of the woman giving birth.

This book is the second of the Shiva trilogy series by the author. This is a very interesting book. Once we start reading this book we will finish it very fast because of the curiosity to know who is the real evil. Before reading this book we will be thinking that the Nagas are evil. But this book reveals the truth of Nagas. You will automatically read this book if you have completed the first book, The Immortals of Meluha. The language used is very simple and very easy to read. A very interesting book from the author. I completed reading this book in 3 days.

AS I HAVE REVIEWED THE PREVIOUS PART OF THE BOOK. I WAS MUCH AWAITING TO READ THE SEQUEL WHEN I READ IT, MY FIRST THOUGHT WAS THAT NO ONE IN THE WORLD CAN DEFINE A MYTHOLOGY IN REAL LIFE THAN AMISH(HATS OFF TO YOU SIR).

THE BOOK IS FANTASTIC TAKEN UNDER ANY OF THE CATEGORIES OR ANY GENRE.IT CAN BE READ BY ALL THE PEOPLE WITH A PLEASANT MIND TO RELAX OR RETIRE INTO THE IMAGINATION.

THE STORY LINE TAKES US INTO THE WORLD AND SEEKS US TO GET INTO THE NOVEL, TO SAY AMISH IS THE BEST PAGE TURNER .

THE STORY IS THE ONE WHICH DRAWS YOU IN THE SECOND PART AND MOST OF THE TWISTS AND TURNS HAPPEN AND ARE REVEALED IN THIS PART.

This book the secret of nagas is successor of one of the amazing book immortals of meluha by amish tripati author , here the story continues about shiva along with his friend veerabhadra his wife sita and close friends there is a good twist in the story where he defeats a kingdom and gets confused between regretting or enjoying and then he finds out evil is some other destination.

This is the second book in the series of story of Lord Shiva's Neelkanth Avatar to destroy evil by Amish Tripathi.

The story revolves around the secret attacks by Nagas and Lord Shiva's intense desire to destroy them( in first book, war was between Suryawanshi and Chandrawanshi) .

As I am a resident near pachmari so I was specially attached as in the story, Panchwati( currently pachmarhi) is the capital of Nagas and Lord Shiva's travel through Dandak forest was full of excitement. Lord Ganesha's Character took special place as leader of Nagas( earlier story of his elephant head took no time to be defeated) . but. It made me seriously confused about birth defects and how to deal with this. As earlier I was convinced with Suryawanshi system to keep birth defected guys apart from normal guys because they will suffer each day and may become violent. and .now .when Lord Ganesha and Goddess Kalika show their disgust towards Suryawanshi for same reason and favoured equal rights to all, also caught me.

All story is really gripping but I tell you. Climax is a Reverse Sweep Sixer( cricket) . it will leave you in the desert searching water. Of course you will search Next hit. The Oath of the Vayuputras.

Well, rather going in much detail I would like to suggest you to go through this well researched work.

This is the second book in the Shiva trilogy series. The first book ends in a way that you have to read the second book to find out the mysteries behind it. This book turns the whole story upside down. It is full of surprises. Mythological stories everybody knows. But giving the scientific and logical reasons behind those stories is a difficult job and I would say Amish has succeeded in doing this job. It is a story with which you will be able to connect as all the characters are already known to most of the people since childhood by listening to these mythological stories.

The first book by Amish  which is The Immortals of Meluha left a curiosity to know about the Nagas who actually seems to be major evil in the story get revealed their secret in this book. The Character of Nagas are same as humans beside their capability and outlook in physical terms. This book is all about Nagas and Shiva Journey in whole revealing secrets of Nagas. This is next volume or further story of 1st book and I must say this book at the end also create final sense of curiosity in next story book which is The Oath of Vayuputras. One who read The Imortals of Meluha have to read it if they want to have the full story knowledge.

Its a novel written by amish tripathi . It is 2nd part of shiva triology. In this novel the main secrets are nagas who born with physical deformities and believed to be cursed. This part contains adventure of shiva travelling many places much more secrets.

The story starts with shiva runing behind a naga. But not able to catch him instead he got one of his coin. Which were discovered to be of branga. Now shiva and his team accompanying veerbhadra, parwateshwar, bhagirath and others goes to the sacred city kashi to find out the connection of branga with nagas. Here from brangas tribe he comes to know that there is a plague in branga. Nagas provide them medicines to live and in return get brangas coins. Now shiva travels to branga to findout more. Meanwhile sati gives birth to kartikaya. Now in this part shiva started to talk with vasudevas through temples who guides them. They are the clan left behind by lord ram.

After shiva goes during saving villagers from lion attack sati learns a truth that her sister kali and first born son ganesha are naga and abandoned by his father which later becomes a cause of dispute between them and daksha.

In branga shiva defeated parshuram and he gives the medicine recipee to branga. After returning shiva learns that ganesh is involved in murder of brashpati but forgive him after he saves kartikaya.

At last kali takes them all to his capital panchwati through dandak forest where a truth awaits for shiva that bhraspati is alive. In his journey they are attacked by daivi astras which was banned by lord rudra.

In this part it is shown that we donot make any view about anyone only by the rumours as in case of nagas and parshuram.

This is story I assume that by this review all will like it and goes to read this novel.

I am very fond of reading books and novels of different authors. Then I found novel' The Secret Of Nagas' authored by Indian author Amish Tirpathi. It is a second novel of Shiva trilogy series. It is written in simple English language. The story is totally based on the barbaric called Shiva who saved the dwellers of of imaginary land called Meluha. Shiva tried to save his wife Sari from invading Nagas. Shiva is nomad of Tibiten and later he moved to another place along with his troop. Later his wife had a son Karthik. This is a myth story. You should read it.

I am sure if you have read its first part you will sure read this book also shiva was confused with when he came to know chandrvanshi are not bed which survanshi said to shiva and actually its nagas are the real enemies of both of them, nagas are people who are curse of god and live in jungles. Nagas are trying to harm parvati and later he came to know the Main leader of Naga are the member of parvati family Kali the sister of parvati and Ganesh the Son of parvati to understand all the connection you have to read the complete story.

Second part is also full of suspense and New finding for Shiva where he become the masheesa for all the community and try to resolve the problems why nagas baby bone

Shiva Triology - as the name suggest is series of three books. This is first part of the triology. Story start with the advent of Shiva as member of local tribe who protects women and children from other tribes. Nandi meets shiva and takes him to his land where during purification process he is recongnized as Neelkanth(blue thorat). This is the point where he starts his journey towards searching the eternal truth of immorality(somrasa). One his journey he meets parvati and falls in love with her.
