The Samilton, Kolkata

I went samilton hotel, Kolkata on last August and stayed there for 2 nights,

I've always been a traveller since my childhood so that's because wherever I go, I am very choosy about the hotel where I am going to stay.

So last august I went to samilton hotel, so to say a few things about the hotel.the first things comes in the mind is the hotel is much luxurious from outside and seeing this everyone would love to spend his day in this hotel.but as you get in the hotel you will face an horrible experience with this hotel.

First getting in this hotel I had to wait nearly 20-30 minutes for my documentation procedure, I don't remember that much of time I have ever had in whole of my lifelong staying experiences in the hotels from all over the India.

the hotel is very big but I didn't see much visitors throughout the hotel.

However, then getting into the room I found an already used wine-bottle on a corner of the floor, regarding which I complained too and threw that away immediately by the ground staff.

the floor of the rooms were not that much cleaned, despite being a luxurious hotel from outside, the toilets look much older and dirty, during the night time I found my ceiling fan was sounding in an irritating way, I didn't like their bedsheets, pillows and towels and they don't offer any kind of hand-wash or soaps in the bathroom, which I found very much odd.

but the most tempering thing I found, they charge a lot of money for the foods they offer, which was very unduly from them.i was very angry regarding this matter offered by the hotel.apart from them I was not also so much of pleased from their staffs and waiters too.

altogether a horrible experience I had, passing two nights in this hotel.

I would suggest plz don't go this hotel,

and look out for some better option for your very personal and favourite staying happiness.

I went to The Samilton Kolkata in 2016 and stayed there for two days. It was not a pleasant experience, to be honest

First the rooms were not spacious and bit too little. I was getting suffocated there inside the room. The bedsheets were also old and not washed. The washroom was not cleaned either.

The guest service was poor. Whenever I called the staff they were not responsive and always came late. There was not much variety on food and whatever food they provided was not delicious. The presentation was also not up to the mark. They all seemed confused all the time. Even you have to pay extra money for breakfast and other services

The ambience inside was very silent and boring. It was smelly inside the hotel. Overall it was not a pleasant experience for me personally. As I got fed up with there hotel staff.

I would not recommend you to go there.

I remained at The Samilton Kolkata last August and I didn't had a decent affair while remaining there.

Right off the bat, the gave a room substantially littler than I asked for and I needed to remain there for two days.

The entire feeling of the room was loathsome and not legitimately embellished. As far back as I went into the room I was just deduction when I would leave.

The room was additionally not legitimately cleaned, the bed sheet was very old and the lavatory was stinking vigorously.

The eatery was roomy however did not have much nourishment things to offer and whatever they had was exorbitant.

I was advised I need to pay additional for breakfast and other visitor administrations and their staff too was not appropriately prepared to deal with such occupations.

I didn't get any an incentive for cash in those two days.

I stayed at The Samilton Kolkata last August and I did not had a good experience while staying there.

Firstly, the gave a room much smaller than I requested and I had to stay there for two days.

The whole ambiance of the room was terrible and not properly decorated. Ever since I entered the room I was only thinking when I would get out of here.

The room was also not properly cleaned, the bed sheet was quite old and the bathroom was stinking heavily.

The restaurant was spacious but did not have much food items to sell and whatever they had was very costly.

I was told I have to pay extra for breakfast and other guest services and their staff too was not properly trained to handle such jobs.

I did not get any value for money in those two days.

If you want to stay the hotel in Kolkata then go to the samilton hotel . The samilton hotel is 4 kilometres from Victoria Memorial and 24 minutes from Howrah station and they provided free Internet, parking space. The room quality is excellent and the guest service very good and very helping and friendly behaviour of the stuff and 24 hrs front desk help available. the room is well decorated like a big screen flat TV, coffee maker, Mini fridge and they provided free breakfast in the morning there's a resturent is excellent

I just want to say that stay anywhere but don't stay at The Samilton - Kolkata. I have really bad experience with The Samilton - Kolkata.

I stayed in The Samilton - Kolkata during my business trip . rooms were ok but bedsheet was not cleaned, it was stinking. Bathroom was not properly cleaned. Staff response was also pathetic . there is limited options in breakfast and you have to pay extra for  drinkin water in room.

The restaurant was spacious and food was just ok but it was too costly . I didn't get that for what they charged because that did not provided facilities as compared to money spent by me. In my opinion it's a no to the samiltonsamilton, Kolkata.
