The Mobile Store, Delhi

I paid Rs. 150 for a glass screen defender for my phone and was give a shoddy, unstable plastic cover that is worth under rs. 50. When I returned to the store demonstrating my receipt and the error, the proprietor declined to put the correct glass defender on my phone. Notwithstanding when I demonstrated to him the reciept and the sticker that his worker put on my phone, he can't. I observed the proprietor be impolite, amateurish and not willing to tune in to clients. The primary concern is this: I paid Rs.150 and in spite of me going to face to face, he declined to give me what I had paid for. Past the money related misfortune, this is just not truly blue business conduct.

When I told the proprietor that I would compose a grievance he reacted: 'simply ahead and compose an objection and do it on my PC at the present time! ' I mean, c'mon, how ameteurish is that from an entrepreneur.

I would firmly suggest anybody considering getting a glass screen defender or cell phones from this store to rather arrange from wherever you obtained different sorts of stuffs.

I bought my HTC phone from mobile store at Pacific mall. They have a lot of variety in a lot of brands for mobile phones. I received my phone at the least amount and over that got about Rs. 750 vouchers including Paytm and Mobilestore itself. All in all the deal was very good and with the phone I also got the insurance done hand to hand for my phone from them. This is not first time when I have purchased a phone from Mobile store before this I purchased one more phone and received cool accessories as a gift.

“Edelweiss” and “Mobile Store”  - Mentally Harassment, Cheating, Fraud. Not satisfaction in services

I purchased the Sony Xperia Z1 phone 24 Aug 2014 from “Mobile Store” they pressurized me to buy the insurance from Edelweiss Company for physical damage.

They told me that It will be covered for my phone damage or steal on cashless. I had an accident and my phone brokes . I lives in Faridabad and  went to Sarita Vihar Mobile Store told story then they sent me Soni service Centre.

I went there and call to Mobile  Contact Number (1): 022- 6624 2674 Contact Number (2): 91 88796 10203.  Customer Care Executive told me that send me the estimate of repair.  I made an estimate from Sony Service Centre and sent it  Mobilestore.claims@edelweissfin.com .

I made call to Dimple Tailor, Customer Care Number She asked me  to sent a copy of Pan Card, Cancelled Cheque, Root Cause of Damage Report,  and Copy of Insurance Certificate from Edelweiss (Signed) etc  I went again to went to Mobile Store Sarita Vihar then Nehru Place to Sign the document from Faridabad and sent it by mail.  After that she told again me for Stamp at Job Card.

I again went to Nehru Place and stamped the document and sent it by mail and also submitted it at https://203.17.194.17:2070/IntimateClaim.aspx.  After that they asked more document to submit like Claim Form, Brief Description, IMEI Number at like. I again went to Nehru Place for IMEI Number and arrange it again and sent it by mail and submitted at the link also.

I also confirmed Ms. Parveen, a Customer Care Executive.  She told me that all documents received and you will get approval till Monday but no confirmation received.  It took me 16 days to get my phone in right condition I called many time to Customer Care number as mentioned but There was no confirmation mail or call  from them to repair.  It had been the worst situation.

I collected phone from Sony Service Centre I sent a bill of Rs. 2783/- to them, I still haven't got my aishwaryasingh23ment yet  in spite of it I had spent more than  5000/- in phone calls and petrol etc.  I went four times Faridabad to Nehru Place Sony Service Centre  and Three Times to Mobile store.

I will advise to other people don’t buy Edelweiss Insurance because they give false commitments.   I am also sending this complaint to IRDA and consumer court also.  There is nobody to listen in Mobile store and Edelweiss.   .   They do not answer anything they never reply emails when I call him they only reply they will give approval but till date nothing happened.   I am so much harassed and unsatisfied customer of Edelweiss and “Mobile Store”

Around 3 weeks back I visited the mobile store located in Nehru Place New Delhi looking for an Android phone(preferably the new Micromax Doodle 3) within 7-8k. My present phone was giving some problems so I wanted to replace it without delay. When I reached the store and asked for Doodle 3 they said they are not selling that handset because customers are experiencing some hardware problem and returning those phones. As I needed a handset urgently, I asked them to show me some other android phone within my budget. This is when they showed me the Nokia X and told me that this phone was the perfect fit for my needs and budget. I knew that Nokia phones are not Android based so questioned them regarding it. They convinced me that this was the first Android phone that was launched by Nokia and has very good reviews. When I asked for other options they showed me few from Samsung but were resistant that I should go for Nokia X. Trusting what they said and without doing any research by myself, I decided to go for Nokia X because Nokia is a reputed brand and I liked the look, touch and sound of the phone and since it was Android based I had nothing to worry. But this phone proved to be one of the biggest mistakes of my life and the money that I paid for it(7.5k) all went waste.

Soon after purchase I realized that IT IS NOT AN ANDROID PHONE but simply supports some android applications, most of which have to be downloaded from a third party application like 1Mobile Market. Gmail and Youtube applications don’t work on this phone as an app. You either have to sinc your gmail account with their’email’ option, where your emails will no longer be classified as social, promotion etc as classified by gmail, which means you have to fish for your important mails amidst the spam emails, or the other option is to open gmail in the browser which is not so convenient, once you are used to view it directly on your mobile from the app. Same is for youtube. You can either access youtube through some third party application, which do not support all the features of youtube(like signing into your account), or again access youtube through the browser. Just yesterday my whats app also stopped working because it needed an upgrade and there was no upgraded version available in the third party stores. also you can no longer sinc your contacts with your gmail account.

In short these people at Mobile store fooled me because I knew nothing about the phone and cheated on me my selling an ANDROID LIKE PHONE by labeling it as an ANDROID PHONE! Infact there are many other problems I am facing with this phone. I even went to the store the following week of purchase to tell them about the problems I was facing. But the guy who was looking after the Nokia phone himself had no idea about the phone. He said he will look for solutions and call back but NEVER REVERTED BACK.

Therefore unless you know which phone you want to buy and have done research on your end, stay away from these BUNCH OF FRAUDS. They are not committed towards their customers but only their money!

Never can purchase a single set from them. They either don't have what I want. The Staff tries to con people believing all customers are of low IQ. They try to sell whatever they have telling lies. They misbehave. Prices are high always.

No courtesy. Never expect a professional behaviour from them. Very bad experience always. Tried several times but always disappointed. If there were stars in negative I would have given it -5.

If you want to try go to hotspot, m store or planet m.

Please don't buy mobile from mobile store. They are selling defective Samsung Galaxy mobile. I am one victim. I brought 1 samsung galaxy mobile on sunday evening but they gave defective one. I went on Monday morning for repalcement.

At 1st they are trying to make me fool but after when they failed to do that the they start mis-behaving with me. They even mis guide me. It was horrible experience with mobile store.

On 20/07/2012, I ordered a karbonn k9 plus mobile phone from the saholic.com order no 189083.Before I ordered I red all the specification and color.The web sight shows me the mobile phone is touch and type and the color is white and black.I trust and choose the same.I got the mobile on 26/07/2012.I shocked  that there is no touch option in the phone and the color also changed.

I am really disappointed. Guys, what I am telling here that it is better to go to a good shop near by you, choose satisfy yourself also make bargaining because every seller makes 25-35% profit for every mobile.

I was delighted to see in India we were offered Extended Warranty and Mobile Phone Insurance on purchase of Mobile Phone from the Mobile Store...every phone however good brand they develop some kind of problem after 1 year of use..so the extra warranty on phone is always handy for that extra peace of mind.In India I read that large number of phones get stolen everyday...the store has been really innovative and customer centric to think about such problem their customer may face, and they have therefore insured my phone against theft.

i'm delighted to have both extended warranty and theft insurance from the mobile store and would also recommend everyone to opt for the same if need maybe.

This is issued in the public interest who go to these retail outlets to save some of their hard earned money and come out as a slaughtered goat. this is not only with context with the mobile store but all those huge chains like spice hot spot, reliance and big bazaar. I being a partly tech savvy purchase a mobile at least twice a year for myself and if include the counting of my family then it is easily 4 mobiles a year. I have visited every store and writing down my experience from it in points:

1)the price is most costly and they offer a maximum bargain of not more than rs.100 even for a 24k set.

unlike a local store like nokia priority offer a cheaper price and bargain can go down to around 500-600 along with a free gift that comes with the set.

2)schemes which comes by mobile company like nokia/samsung  are often very late or never arrives at all

3)poor schemes are here and if you are a nokia or a blackberry customer then they will nt entertain you. they will give a scratch card which will bring you a cutlery set or an unpaid  thailand vacation which is again a fraud which mostly is not given by the store but is to be sent to some place to claim it so that they can have your data base.

4)they will insist on you buying the set which they want to sell not the one you want to buy

5) ask for bargain they will show you the a price on their system and show there inability while a neighborhood store will do it.

6)instances have been found (referring to several posts made in mouthshut about this) they have given used cell phones as  new sets.don't be a fool when he opens a seal of mobile box in front of you as they have many duplicate hologram seals given by the company itself.

7)the staff is also impolite as they are doing a favor selling you a sell at a premium price, i went there once to buy a nokia 5230 set  the salesman says nobody buys the cell phone as its a big flop and told me to buy some micromax or a lg set, irrespect of the fact nokia 5230 is now among the largest seller in its class..

8)they are so much interested in selling sets like fly/micromax and these local mobile that in front of me a customer came to buy a 3g set for video calling he showed him a 3g cell of a local without a front camera, when he asked how will he do the video calling then he told that you can do it putting the cell infront of the mirror.

then you will say what are the options, i will recommend you to go for local store or some famous store of your locality, try out websites like flipkart which now offers you cash on delivery option.

Friends, this is my first review on this site. I am sorry indeed to share with you the cheating of the Mobile Store of Chandigarh located in sector 22C. Because the cheating is of horrible nature, so I was compelled to write a review in addition to mentioning it on my SMS review earlier.

I have a six year old GSM mobile set of Samsung SGH-C 100 model. Till now the initial battery was running good but I felt the need to replace it as the back up for stand by time was now less than 12 hours.

I started searching for it every where in Chandigarh but I could not find one as this mobile set is almost not visible any where. But this set has been too good for me, so I did not give up searching for the new battery.*

One of my friend suggested me to approach the **Mobile store.

I did the same and reached to the Mobile store of sector 22C of Chandigarh on08 Oct 10. I was heard with patience there and got the positive reply that they could arrange a new battery for me within an hour. I was happy and came back in an hour. The person named Mr Deepak( Mob. 9988887485) handed me a battery and said, `This battery has no warranty, but will good performance.`

Hedid not give me any bill for that and took Rs 300 hard cash. He did not provide me any concession and discount. I did not insist much for the bill as I was so happy to get a new battery. Also I thought that I was getting the item from a reputed shop which was famous for Mobile and accessory only.

The problem started now. The battery gave back up for six stand by hours after the full charge. The set started switching off automatically.

I went to the shop on 11th of Oct. I was denied replacement as well as the refund in rude words. He also said the problem was with my set only.height of unethical treatment.

Even my old battery is giving me better back up than the new one.

Thanks to customer care of the mobile store  for very good support.

The battery is taken back and cash Rs. 300 return to me.

Hello to mobile store iam writing this review for you guys.i bought virgin buzz phone for my dad from you and iam so happy with your customer service.it is of american standards.iam a client relationship executive myself and I know what good customer service is you guys fulfilled all my expectations.first, i ordered the phone online and the process is so easy.no shipping charges I was charged.when I called cust service to confirm order the lady was so good and spoke good english.the product arrived within 72 hours and I received 2-3 calls confirming delivery which is excellent.mobile received was in excellent condition and I have gifted it to my dad.it was sealed packed.very good mobile store you guys rock! I bought a mobile from one of the mobile stores in delhi. Mobile store had a 5% cashback scheme at that point of time. After a long research on the price of the mobile phone model, I decided to buy it from mobile store as 5% cashback would also be given back to me.

Initially I was informed on phone that I would get the cashback instantly. However, to my surprise, when I reached the shop I was told that I need to send the account number and other details to their headquarter. The main office will check the documents and the cashback would be send as a cheque. I posted all the documents to their office in August and till date I haven't got any cheque or notification.

I called up their customer care to enquire about the scheme but they did not informed me after making so many promises.I am sure that these schemes are a kind of trap so I request people not get trapped in this kinda schemes.
