The Little House - Virginia Lee Burton

The Little House is a children picture book written and illustrated by Virginia Lee Burton.

This book has a nice story can love who loves their home.It is based on each home which we live.It is a story of a house which was moved from the street into a field of daisies with apple trees growing around.

The house in the story has built at the top of a small hill in the century 1900 at America. When years passes the village has grown and it became a city . The house watches the seasons pass and wonder about the city which grow in year by year.

There has a lot of changes happens for the place where the house was built. The village slightly starts to change as a city environment.So then what will happen to the small house is the story which takes us through that.

The visual concept f this story bk is far more fundamental than the verbal modes for this story.So it is very important that the illustration must be very strong in this book. And that was perfectly done by Burton.

The story says a truth for its insights on urban sprawl. A good book to read and enjoy with children by making them to think about the nature.
