The Grand Buffet, Magarpatta, Pune

Yesterday I had a dinner at this place with my friends. Being a vegetarian I was expecting more options in staters. But they have only boiled potato's, Mashrum, Paneer Tikka, pinepal and fried baby corns. We didn't get the corns again because their stock of corn was empty.

About main course, very limited options were available like, Kali dal, plan rice, chaines nuddles, panner.

In Sweets, they have Gulab Jamun and Kulfi. They charged 670 rs this!

Personally I feed my tummy by eating the Gulkand Kulfi. It was the only thing which was awesome. All other things were below expectation and just ordinary.

Next time I will choose Barbeq Nation. Because they have much more than The Grand Buffet.

Yesrerday I went for the dinner with my team at The Grand Buffet. As I entered into hotel, I was impressed with lighting, decoration and overall ambience. First they served the barbeque items and lemon juice in small glass ( might be the special for that day) . They served only fish and prawns on grill. When I asked for boneless tikka grill the waiter told me that they dont serve that. Instead they served chicken wings with bone in plate, which was so spicy. After that they served Tangadi ( chicken leg piece) which was properly cooked and very tasty. Buffet menu was not so good as compared to barbeque nation. But overall it was a good experience for Rs. 680/- ( including GST) , which was cheaper that barbeque nation. So if you want to try this hotel, don't expect much like BBQ nation.

I went to The Grand Buffet yesterday for team dinner. However came back disappointed.

Being a non vegeterian I was waiting for multiple chicken startets. But they have only two options for chicken starters one was chicken tangdi kebab that they served only once. Second was chicken wings which was full of bones and chilly.

There was no chicken starters on the grill.

Then I moved to main course. I took Chicken biryani and mutton achari. Chicken pieces in Biryani was uncooked and too much spicy. Mutton achari was not fresh.

Gulab Jamun and Kulfi was the only good desert available.

The price per person was Rs. 670 but the food was not worth. Service was just ok.

BBQ is a much better option than this.

Located in the best mall season mall, when you tired with shopping n tummy is ready for lots of food please go n have the grand buffet. welcome drink n then tandoor kabab fish mutton paneer simply awesome.

tasty food n numbers of variety in starter salads main course, you will just get confuse what to eat!

amazing food with amazing presentation. n last the dessert 3 types on kulfi 4 types of ice creams n then shahi tukda, gulabjamun OMG, one small stomach I desired to eat everything.this is always happen when you will visit this place.

they have both indoor n outdoor sitting, I preffered the outdoor in open air n sky feels amazing, beautiful ambience.

customer service is bit poor, taking time to serve you.

around 600 for almost 50/60 dishes worth it.

I recommend to visit this place.

This place is based on the same concept as the Barbeque Nation and Sigree. Although not of the same standard but still a decent affair. We had the veg buffet.

Food 3.5/5

There were two welcome drinks. The starters and grills were a standard affair. The main course and the desserts were not up to the mark. The non-veg menu sounded much much better and appealing than the veg.

Very small place inside.Narrow Gulley where Buffet is served.

Seekh kabab highly Masala stuff, difficult to eat a few of these may be made like that so people eat less.Another fish was presented without taste or shape.

Very plain ordinary stuff to non suspecting people. Veg paneerl kebab was under cooked and inspid.

less of mutton taste more masala.Prawns on the grill were soggy.

Mutton curry was just bone curry.

Paid my bit of the Bill and walked out cursing.

Nothing Grand about it but the bill.

No music.Ambience zerro.

A newly opened BBQ buffet restaurant in Pune is a competitor to Barbeque Nation as it is serving almost the same variety of food at a lower rate.

I visited this place twice, one during the Goan food festival and last week recently.During my first visit as it was Christmas and we were a group of 7, we had to wait for about 40 minutes before getting a table so reservation is mandatory here during weekends while during weekdays there is not much of a crowd and you can get a table immediately.

There is bollywood music playing in the background.The service is a bit slow, but whatever you ask for will be given to you even if it takes some time long.

The Grand Buffet is located on the second floor of a busy Seasons Mall.I went there with least expectation of food as the rates here are Rs.449+ tax on Mon-Tue and Rs.499+ tax on other days.They serve 5 veg and 5 non veg starters, with paneer, mushroom, pine apple starter in veg and 2 chicken, prawns, fish, mutton.Every table has a coal BBQ for the starters.There are some veg and non veg salads on the buffet along with 2 soda type drinks.In the main course they have variety of veg and non veg along with type of dal and plain rice and chicken biryani along with mirchi ka salan.The main course here was anytime better than the once that are served in barbeque nation.They ask if you want Nan or Roti also.

Last but not the least they have desserts which comprise of gulab jamun, gajar/dudhi halwa, shahi tukda, dry cake along with 2 types of ice cream and 2 types of kulfi.

I would recommend you to surely give this restaurant a try and judge your self, service is the only area in which The Grand Buffet must improve else everything all OK.
