I had purchased a barbie doll shape cake for my daughter's 1st birth day. The cake I ordered was purple colour and it costs Rs. 4000 for 3kg.
Defects:
I really don't know what they have put to bring the colour. The colour easily sticks when the cake is touched and even if I wash my hand with soap also the colour never went from my hand. And also it gets sticked to teeth and only when brushed it goes.
The taste of the cake was totally equal to the one we buy in a normal local bakery.
My baby kept crying seeing the colour sticking to her hand. People who ever ate the cake were literally cursing me for buying me the cake. My function itself was totally spoiled because of the cake.
And people who ever ate the cake had stomach pain. The cost of the cake alone is 4000rs why can't they provide a good one.
Friends please avoid "The French Loaf" if you care about your children's health not only children also yours.

The French Loaf is bang opposite to the New Life AG Church in Saidapet. A typical Dessert joint from the outside, but as soon as you step in the devil in you wakes up seeing those wonderfully baked Pastries, cheesecakes, blueberry chessecakes. They also serve you freshly brewed coffee. I loved the hazelnut cappuccino.
They have a variety of birthday cakes, and some of them are pretty costly too. I noticed one with cartoons characters and it was priced at 4500, but looked delicious and neatly done.
