The Fisherman's Fare, Egmore, Chennai

Being close to our work place we once decided to go to Fishermans Fare early evening, 7pm on a weekday. The restaurant was not really ready. So we waited for sometime before they could set up a table.

Having read reviews and told by friends we tried Chicken and Crab( boneless is what I remember ordering) . Chicken was great! Crab was just average. The place was warm and cozy.

Overall a good place to visit during their peak hours.

Authentic South Indian preparation of fish to Chinese, grab some of the freshest catch and made with some choicest of ingredients. Welcome to Fisherman's Fare. The ambiance is very welcoming and the interiors too are pretty simple. Do not expect a lot of elegance or sophistication here.

You could go for Chinese preparations of the fish or stick to the Indian way of making it and enjoy to your heart's content. Love fish? Then this is the place that is a must go to, to fulfill all your fish related fantasies. The ambiance of the place is very beautiful and cozy and makes you want to sit here for hours together. Even their food presentation skills are amazing. The quantity too is a lot, to fulfill everyone's tummies.

They also have a veg and non veg Chinese menu, for those who do not like fish a lot. The Fish Bell Pepper, Prawns Manchurian Gravy, Singapore Chilli Fish are some mouthwatering starters that are a must have here. The Crab in Garlic Butter Sauce is also awesome! All crab lovers, this is soon to become your favorite destination.

Oyster Fried Lobsters are also another great delicacy. For the Mains you could choose from the wonderfully vast menu listing all types of fishes and preparations. In veg also, you are bound to have a lot of great options and the same goes for Chicken too.
