The Dhaba, Ballygunge, Kolkata

Last week I went dhaba restaurant in ballygaung kolkata . this one very nice resturant . their food quality nice . I love dhaba, s chiken varta chaap and naan . they very clean good atmosphere price also affordable their biriyani also good and role very testy . if you never try here please go their and test their food then can understand why they different . Their presentation also good shop decor also good customer service also nice . thank u

I have been visiting to Dabha for more than a decade for Punjabi food since my college days and found the food good. As for quality Punjabi in kolkata which you will not find it in many place expect few, due to the added local flavor in them .I have been to many place but the quality of food in dabha is great . Its worth for every penny you spend, there is separate section for family on the entire first floor and you will find this place very happening and on weekend you have to wait for your turn due the rush .I have found families waiting for a hour for their turn especially on festivals or holidays.

The ambience is fine and decor is something which need to be improved.The service from the waiters is average and the owner takes special interest in running the restaurant in efficient way .on the menu you will find mostly all punjabi food like tandoors, tadkas, panner items etc.

Well being a vegetarian I find the panner items and masala kulcha as my favourite.

I had visited this restaurant twice in the past.

As is expected in a good dhaba, the food is really great. The pricing of the menu is also nice. However, the owners need to improve upon improving the menu card to go with the restaurant's status.

Unfortunately, I find the service utterly disappointing. The waiters are highly uncouth and really needs some basic training of service etiquttes. The waiter serving us was the ultimate. On being ''requested'' to serve the dishes, he responded with a typical ''Why can't u take it on your own? What is there to serve?'' And then he went ahead to serving it in the most rude way. But the same man also expected / looked forward to a hefty tip as we were a large group of seven people.

I had expected a dhaba to be full of spirited couteousness a la Punjabi.

Would not like to visit again.
