Thakur Institute Of Aviation Technology, Mumbai

Ive spent three Awesome years in this college and felt like writing a review for them which is why I recommended this institute to Mouthshut. Its another of Thakur faculties institution in Kandivali but this one is located in Thakur Complex unlike other colleges which are located in Thakur village. Initially TIAT was merged with Thakur Poytechnic but now they have built a parallel building completely dedicated to aviation college. this institution is famous for its Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Course.

Although there are many institutes offering this course but no other institute has the kind of infrastructure TIAT has. they have a nose section of actual Boeing 747 aircraft with the cockpit and all its instruments included. there is a fully working Cessna aircraft in the compound and also a Bell helicopter. other than this the laboratories have mock-ups of various aircraft systems which can offer a working demo for the study of students. Many serials and movies have their shoots done in the new building cz of its superb infrastructure. the only problem I had was with the faculty being changed repeatedly.

It didnt allow us students to adjust to one particular teacher for a subject but I'm sure that would have been taken care of my now.  The only thing for future students is think twice before joining the course cz the fees are high and job status in aviation industry is weak at this point which might cause you to struggle. as for the college its the best for an AME course.
