I feel this review is:
I have given request for closure of my credit card and everyday for past three months I am getting calls, telling me why I should not discontinue this card. I have explained them 100 times without any success.

I have taken Tata Credit Card two months back. Paid the outstanding dues on 29the Sept of Rs.13840/- within due date which has debited from my account. Now even I have paid last month outstanding they have block my Card and Charge Fine of Rs. 2824 under various heads. Call over phone no one is responding also send email for the same with the details of payment made but not getting any satisfactory reply.
Today morning there representaive call me & told to pay the dues other wise it will affect on CIBIL Score.
I have to pay fine for making payment?
I am using my TATA credit card were I have got wrong commitment from customer care and there is concern about customer response and required service. completely pathetic service. please not go name called TATA itself.

By mistake I took this card but its wast of using just because of Rs.11 they have charges me 1700+ amount as a charges dose it mean any sense,

Beware all plz before applying this card, I m facing only problems due to service of tata cards, that was taken in a mall by me from a person who was from Tata sbi card Dept.
Next day I blocked this card wen I came to know that card was totally different which was offered to me ..in 2017 after so many calls thay accepted my request , but still that didn't blocked my card , I received unpaid msg regularly, nd the result is my cibil came to down.now I m planning to file case in court.i have all request number for against my application but card is still showing unpaid status while the card is in not come from packet for a second..

On 15th April 2017 I visited Croma Mulund West to buy Refrigerator, while doing payment on cash counter, I was offered to opt for Tata Croma Credit Card, I accepted the offer and entire form was filed physically and in the App, in next 10 min the card was approved and approval message was shown to be by Sales Personnel on his cell phone, post that I got 2 Calls from Tata Helpline confirming the details and Card has been approved.
Surprisingly I got a call on 27th April 2017 17:40 from 022 24398117 Phone number, asking me why did I rejected the offer, when I asked the lady when did I rejected and can she share me few more details, immediately she shared apology for inconvenience and informed me that there might be mistake in software, She will arrange Call back from helpline for confirmation 1 more time and you please say yes.
Summary: When I have already physically filled the form, and confirmed the details over phone in verification call, Where is a disconnect?

Since 4 years I am working in credit card industry. I never ever scene this type of worst credit card.few days back I purchased mobile with tata card on emi basis in flipcart then immediately cancelled the mobile so flipcart returned the money to tatacard account but they charged emi conversion charages then I asked foreclosure again they charged foreclosure charges its really embracing. if want to apply this card plz aware of these things.
I had this Tata credit card two years ago but it was really not much of an use. It offered higher reward points on shopping in Tata enterprises compared to other outlets. My biggest issue was the rewards points I collected while shopping online was expired after certain period. I lost 500 points approximately thanks to that. Worst was the reward points were mostly redeemable on Tata enterprises like Croma, Westside, etc. The charges were also high and customer support was negligible from the company. Overall not so satisfactory for me.
I'm using tata credit card from past 18 months, I have earned more than 4k Points, its good that your getting 1percent as points, it's like if you do shopping of 2k , you will get 20 points but only disadvantage is you can redeem Tata credit card points In Tata outlet, which is from croma or West side.
So if your looking for high credit go for it other wise choose other bank credit cards.
Having used the Tata Credit Card for many years I wish to mention its pros n cons as below -
Pros -
Offers higher reward points on shopping at Tata Enterprises like Westside, Croma, etc.
Good credit limit(enhanced periodically as per purchase & payment history)
Each reward point equals Re 1, unlike in other credit cards
Cons -
Reward points can be redeemed ONLY at Tata enterprises like Westside, Croma, etc. Mostly, have experienced that the EDC machine meant for redeeming points from Tata Card is not working at such outlets.
No option to redeem points from an online catalogue as in many popular credit card issuers
If Card-holder doesn't redeem points within a period, it will start expiring, and one can't go from one Tata Card Partner Outlet to another just to redeem points. Have lost hundreds of points and had to write / chase Customer Care to reverse it, which didn't happen at times.
Have been facing a peculiar issue for past 1.5 years. Am able to use my credit card at shops offline, but can't make any online purchases / payments as it gives a standard "Authentication Failure. Your card details are not in our system. Please contact Customer Care on XXXXX Phone No.". Had followed up with both Customer Care and escalated issue to Head - TataCards but for MORE THAN ONE YEAR my issue remains unresolved. Hence, I have stopped using the Tata Card altogether.
The least one can expect from the century-old Tatas is to be honest and transparent in their business practices. Cheating customers by expiring their reward points, or not resolving critical issues for over ONE YEAR is just not becoming of a Tata firm. Tata Credit Cards' Customer Care is the worst one I have ever experienced, and even more disappointed that despite escalating to their Head - Tatacards(as per their own policy) no issue gets resolved. Basically, it's like dealing with the laid-back and inefficient govt dept. Only that in case of govt dept. one can atleast bribe the officials and get the work done. Pathetic service levels from Tatas.
