And I am very happy with this company because The working environment is very good.

As many of you knew that there is no job security in most IT sectors. But in case of TCS, the job security is more. As of FY 2017-18, the salary hike is less in TCS but as compared to other IT sectors salary hike is good. Mot other companies did not have any hike in the salary rather they have sacked more employees. TCS have many projects in different technologies. Major TCS hub in India is Bangalore. Work culture is very good. A fresher need to go through atleast 2 months of ILP training. There you can learn a lot.

I am employed with TCS from past 1.25 years and here is my opinion for the same.

Salary and benefits: Although it is better compared to other IT companies in terms of Variable Component paid but last year they have just been giving only 50% to less than 4 years employee and 0% to greater than 4 year experience which very much pathetic seeing the company's growth and a hooping profit of 6000 cr. in a single quarter. Apart from salary you get specified discount(5-10%) while purchasing any TATA group product like fastrack, Titan, Chroma Store.

Job Security: There is no Job Security. Company can decide layoffs and you never when you will be one of them.

Career Growth: Current situation is very much worse seeing which there is very minimal scope for career growth in it.

Work Environment: Politics is not just a word. You will realize this when you enter TCS since you itself will be part of it either as its victim or on the playing front.

CEO Rating: It would be 1/5 since he never seems to be connecting with the employees directly or by any other means.

According to me and all over country TATA is no.1company. it is providing cheap best quality products and servicese at reasonable rate.I have bought car company of( TATA) the company providing very good Services to me.And I also suggested my friends while they buying products and vehicles. on of my friend purchased car of same particular company while buying a car he was suggested my me to buy this company car because I had already using same company car.while im telling my friend he had many doubts but he buy the car on my suggetion now he had full satisfection with car and company servicses.the company is providing very good servises and some free servises also he is satisfied with the tata product.the company had relesed a small size car called it is also qualitied and budget car according to money.

TATA CONSULTANCY SERVICES is one of the best company in INDIA, in terms of creating Profit. But the reality is something different. No doubt a company runs to make profits but making a profit on the verge of reducing the pay hike of employees. The average pay hike in TCS is 2-3% which is even lower than the INFLATION rate of our economy.

I worked for TCS in 2014. I realised that career growth is bare minimum as after 10years of experience an individual can only reach to a level of LEAD. Work environment is pathetic. So much pressure is created there, as employee cannot handle it. Worked there even on weekends. Very few cultural or sports activities. LayOffs are now part and parcel of TCS so No Job Security. Didn't like the company and I switched it very soon.

Tata Consultancy Services is one of the child organization of the GRAND conglomerate TATA.This organization is like the bread winner for the TATA group being the highest revenue earner. Its a good company to start with only if you are from Non IT background. Clearly stating , at present, this company is not for the people aspiring to get more hands on the programming. Freshers are not given ample opportunities to grow. Apart from this, you will get a salary based on the industry standards. From the growth perspective, 4-7% is the rate. One of the benifit of joining this company is the job security. Yes there is job security in TCS. Work environment is also good but depends upon the place where you are working like Mumbai , Pune , Delhi etc. Also Ceo is doing a great work to take this org. forward. The outgoing CEO has really done some great work to get this organization on track whether it is engaging some new technologies into the company or getting the business from outside of India.

Way back in 2008 when I was working in a trident company as a DTP operator. I got opportunity to serve in Tata consultancy services. I worked there for two months the increment was awesome. I was enjoying there but meanwhile I had to approach to the village for urgent work . when returned they told me to look for some other places.

I personally feel that , every sector has ots own time to grow . But TCS management have to realize that only education creteria does not make them great . In 2016 I had a placement conducted by TCS in my college and out of 45 people only 1 was selected and that too on the basis of CGPA scored . I personally suggest to remove the marking creteria and focus more on skills .

Yes TCS pays pretty well , but it also Pierce once life by making them work .

Job security in TCS is high .

If one is really focused into working environment he is likely to be promoted or else same level for years.

I myself give ceo rating in 6.5 out of 10 .

Flexibility for women- however it depends on the managers you are under. Other than that it is a wonderful company for women. Job security is a plus.You will have scope for improvement in terms if career growth and professional mostof the time again it all depeds your manager.

No value to low-level in hierarchy i.e. a developer.

Need to know how to polish your boss shoes, else your work will never be recognised.No bonus, salary hikes is not so great.

Changing from one project to another project is not so easy.

~Advice to Management~

It is okay even you dont appreciate but please dont bark on people like dogs. When there is no appreciation for good work, there shouldnot be any scoldings for bad work
