Breathtaking....

Ehsaan Shenkar Loy.... thats a deadly combination....

Shankar Mehadevan is one of the most telanted singers in our industry, he ad given lots of beautiful songs in the past and th TIKDI of E-S-L... had given many beautiful albums too.

From dil chahta hai to Rock on... they are simply mind blowing.. TaareZameen Pay is on of there best creations... specialy the song MAA....Thats the song can make anybody cry at any point of time.... lyrics by Prasoon Joshi was beautiful...

And the  way in which Shankar sung that song... cannot b descibed in words... if there will be any other director or music director had done that song they must make any child singer to sing that song but the way aamir and E-S-L presented this song was ultimate.

THE name of the movie reveals that children are twinkling stars existing on earth and they are so special as every child is born with some quality. TZP is a reality based movie on children. This movie shows the depth of a child creativity, if we recognize and understand them. Its also shows the parent's rash behavior towards those children who have their own world of talent instead of parents demanding dreams. TZP is about a child story who is fond of art, painting and presence of nature around us. In the movie a teacher recognize him and help to outcome his reality after all his unsuccessful phases of life. The music is so heart touching according to the situations created in the film. The script of the movie is excellent with lyrics too. Dialogues, direction and characters are the strength of the movie. Its a must watch movie for all and specially for those who belives their child in every sense.

THE begning scene of the movie shows the free nature in which 9 yrs old ISHAAN AWASTHI(Darsheel Safary) loves to watch the small fishes and caught them to make an aquarium at his home. This shows the Ishaan's beautiful love towards nature. As the story suceeds further, his unsuccessful phases of life were seen as he's not have any interest in studies life, and on the other hand he loves to make paintings. But his parents force him to study. His father treat him as a useless child as he repeating the third standard. His elder brother YOHAN always stood 1st in the studies and other things too. His mother MAYA (TISCA CHOPRA) loves him a lot and she can't live without him.

After watching Ishaan's failure in everywhere, his father decided to send him to boarding school far away from home. Ishaan never wants to go there and he was helpless infront of his father. he can't resist of the decision taken against him. In boarding, his life takes a wonderful turn after few days living there. He met with an art teacher RAM SHANKAR NIKUMBH(Aamir khan), whose nature was totally different from other teachers. He has the right knowledge to tackle the children. His presence in the class makes the enviorment all the ways. He was a teacher of a mentally retarted and hanicapped children in tulips school. As Ram came to know the problm facing by Ishaan, he ables to judge why he's not good in studies. When he came to knw that Ishaan is a wonderful painter, he  makes Ishaan's parents feels for wrongly sending him towards boarding school. Then Ram decided to make that child's career, by spending some extra time on him, and his main focus was to earn name in paintings.

As the story came towards end, Ram decided to organize an art mela for all the children and teachers of the school. He was expecting from Ishaan to won that art competetion and when the result announced, Ishaan makes it by standing 1st in that competetion. Ram was too much happy as he wants this to be happened. In the end of the movie, Ishaan's parents realizes the value of their son. They were ashamed for not understanding Ishaan. And finally Ishaan was the precious star of the boarding school.

MY BEST SCENE OF THE MOVIE : When Ram makes the painting of the smiling face of ishaan in the end, and Ishaan came to him to see what his teacher has made in the competition. And they both cried watching each other.

TAARE ZAMIN PAR sends a beautiful lesson to all. It remembers that what a child has lost in his school days and the kinds of pressure a child faces from others. After watching this movie tears came from the eyes because we can't  accepts the truth happenings infront of us. Aamir Khan proved that he is not an star as he is an ACTOR. Darsheel safary deserves a great reward for this film as he is a 9 yrs old child and brought tears from the audience eyes.

Taare Zameen Par; Could you get the means

Some

people were even more sure than me that I’ll come up with my take over this and

here I am, proving them very right. Sure it was like master piece that I

started typing these words just after watching the first 20 mins of movie. I

think its going to be kind of encyclopedia for kid’s world in Hindi Cinema. I

really could guess that what it takes to create a concept into a movie and the

perfectionist is no where lesser than the punch, he was with in RDB.

The

very first question was that how could such a movie carry people’s interests

without any lead actress or so called filmy formulas? Here the credits of the

perfectionist Amir Khan came into play and he was really an enigma, who taken

this project and matured it at a level that now touching the wont be ever easy.

A simple concept, a boy who was careless about reading/writing and hearing his

parents, gets boarding in punishment and magical teacher does the magic to get

him back in rights ways. Was all this much simple? Do you think that you

understand it? Think again.

I

was moved with the work of Deepa Bhatia as she has taken care of almost all

sensitive sides of a silent thinking mind. I started writing this review after

first 20 mins and like his mother, I was in tears, when she turns the pages of

his drawing book after putting him in boarding and see his picture moving away

from his parents. Minute by minute, I was feeling the silent emotions and

moreover was much impressed by the way of rendering the same. I was in pain and

really moved, when Ishan takes rounds of sport field on arrival of his parents

in boarding school.

Second

half started with entry of Amir as temporary teacher in boarding school and I

was conscious that if after the light entry of himself in dressing of joker,

the same is going to loose momentum? But …. but think you are trying to write

your opinions over this movie…. I could bet you will get a full stop …. A

complete full stop, when Amir says, he will be lost. I just felt the same, I

just felt and my hands trembled that if I could do justice with my writing over

this movie. I really was able to feel the emotions of Ram Shankar Nikumb(Amir

Khan) that could he do justice with the boy and could stop him from getting

lost?

Amir

heads of to you and your crew that you never let it down as after starting it

in sensitive ways, it grows like more and more touching. As Amir says “Patri se

hat kar bahut kam log soch pate hain” and this movie just does it precisely.

Don’t know, we should give the credits to whom, but this was a movie for a

message not for just entertainment and now I know why Amir was so confident

about this movie. You will feel the reason of his confidence, when will see

Ishan’s father leaving the boarding school without metting Ishan with tears in

his eyes.

recommendation in words and want to keep it in ways Ishan puts it. You will

feel goose pimples at many moments during this movie. Ishan . Inu . was not

lost as Nikumb was there.

Amir! you

were right, this movie will come to change the perception of everyone to look

over their childern.

Taare Zameen par
Dec 25, 2007 10:47 PM 5081 Views

Taare Zameen Par is the directorial debut of actor Aamir Khan and also stars the actor. The film deals with the subject of little children and hence one has even more expectations from the music which should appeal to both adults and children. The music has been composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy and the lyrics have been penned by Prasoon Joshi. Aamir Khan and his wife Kiran Rao have also lent their voices for a song in the film. Some of the other singers include Shankar Mahadevan, Shaan, Adnan Sami, Loy, Vishal Dadlani etc.

'Taare Zameen Par'- It begins with a lilting melodious tinkle and is sung by Shankar Mahadevan accompanied by Bugs Bhargava, Dominique Cerejo, Vivinenne Pocha. The lyrics by Prasoon Joshi have a poetic feel but yet have a childlike appeal. The musical arrangements are kept to a minimum with more emphasis on the https://lyrics. The beats are slow and although the song is not catchy, it definitely has a melodious tune. An interesting and sweet song.

‘Kholo Kholo’ – This number has been rendered by Raman Mahadevan in a smooth and clear voice. The sound of a guitar gives it a rock song feel. The musical arrangements are appealing and the beats are averagely paced. An extremely fresh and inspiring song.

‘Bum Bum Bole’- This number is a situational track sung by Shaan. It is more like a children’s number and Aamir Khan too croons a few funny sounding lines in the song. Nonetheless it is an extremely playful and fun song that will no doubt appeal to little kids.

‘Jame Raho’- It has been rendered by Vishal Dadlani and again has a slight rock feel to it. The song depicts the life a school going kid from the moment he wakes with the alarm clock till the time that he goes to bed. The lyrics are inspiring especially for little kids and it sounds like an invigorating anthem or theme song. Upbeat with fare musical arrangements, it has some English words interspersed. This song catches one’s interest.

‘Bheja Kum’- Ten singers including Shankar Mahadevan, Bugs Bhargava, Shankar Sachdev, Raaj Gopal Iyer, Ravi Khanwilker, Loy Mendonsa, Amole Gupte, Kiran Rao, Aamir Khan and Ram Madhvani come together for this situational track. The song depicts how kids are often reprimanded for getting less marks in their exams. Some of the singers just render a line or two. The entire song is a light hearted attempt at making adults realise the tension that they often cause their kids by making such remarks. And although the song may not have much musical value, it serves its purpose in at least trying to make adults aware of this habit and that too in an easygoing manner.

‘Maa’- It is an emotional number rendered by Shankar Mahadevan. The lyrics are emotional and heart rending. The song depicts the mother-child bond and once again the musical arrangements are kept to a minimum. Shankar gives an effective and emotional rendition lifting the song higher. The song has a tranquil and melodious tune.

‘Mera Jehan’- This song has been rendered by kids Auriel Cordo and Ananya Wadkar and Adnan Sami takes over later. It has a rock style and is soul stirring. The lyrics are noteworthy, beats are averagely paced and the musical arrangements are organised extremely well. Mera Jehan is definitely an enticing number that catches your interest.

‘Ishaan’s Theme’- This is a soulful instrumental musical piece played on the piano. This short piece has been done by creative director Amol Gupte and has a pensive, introspective feel. A soft soothing piece.

Taare Zameen Par has music that is apt for a film that involves children, some songs that will appeal to kids and some that will even appeal to adults. Quite a few songs have a rock style and the lyrics for the songs have a poetic appeal. On the whole though the songs may not be catchy or popular, they are still quite appealing in terms of music and https://lyrics. Also the songs fit into the film’s genre quite well. The album qualifies as a 5 star.

TAAARE JAMEEN PAR

A.K. 47(A.K. stands for aamir khan) strikes again and wow! I cant write more than that.

Let us start some more categories for the film fare awards this year

1) The most daring director of the year

2) The best child actor of the year

3) Fulfillment of social responsibility by making a movie.

People says that aamir khan is a great actor but after watching the movie we can say that the India film industry also have a TATA with itself, namely aamir khan, whose stature is far bigger than any other person in the industry but still the man will strive for fulfilling his social responsibility. Even if it comes to the art of filmmaking.

Now let us talk about the movie itself, a simple story but told in a great way. This is the movie, which talks about today’s overburdened children who wants to fly but cant because of the load of the school bag, parent’s expectations, classmate’s comparisons and a lot of other reasons. But the man(AAMIR KHAAN) is not one of them and he clearly says all of these things in the movie.

Every child or say every person has its own good and bad qualities what all is needed is to let your imagination fly in the clear blue sky which doesn’t play the role of the obstacle and let the person do whatever it wants.now some of the erudite people may not like the movie because they think that IIM and IIT are the only places which can give their child a good future, yes it is true in a sense but than what would happen with the child’s own set of imaginations and the way he/she wants o see the world.

What I all want to say is that education is necessary to a large extent but can we get educated only through 5 kg weighted books. Can’t a child learn while getting in touch of the environment and by talking and sharing thoughts with other people? This is all what the great man(AAMIR KHAN) wants to say with help of the character of ISHAAN.

ONE REQUEST- please don’t stop tears to come down from your eyes while watching the movie, if they wants to.

And last but not the least thanks to prasoon joshi for such beautiful lyrics………………………….

Venture capital(VC) is financial capital provided to early-stage, high-potential, growth startup companies. The venture capital fund makes money by owningequity in the companies it invests in, which usually have a novel technology or business model in high technology industries, such as biotechnology, IT, softwareetc. The typical venture capital investment occurs after the seed funding round as growth funding round(also referred as Series A round) in the interest of generating a return through an eventual realization event, such as an IPO or trade sale of the company.

In addition to angel investing and other seed funding options, venture capital is attractive for new companies with limited operating history that are too small to raise capital in the public markets and have not reached the point where they are able to secure a bank loan or complete a debt offering. In exchange for the high risk that venture capitalists assume by investing in smaller and less mature companies, venture capitalists usually get significant control over company decisions, in addition to a significant portion of the company's ownership(and consequently value).

Venture capital is also associated with job creation(accounting for 21% of US GDP), [1] the knowledge economy, and used as a proxy measure of innovation within an economic sector or geography.

What a movie
Dec 22, 2007 11:53 PM 3890 Views

It has been a while since I watched a movie that touched my heart. Clearly, this movie is of topmost quality.

The movie revolves around a kid's learning disability and how different people make different kinds of impact in his life. I will not spoil your experience of watching the movie by revealing the whole story, but this is a must watch movie.

Every single character chosen has acted really well, they have put in more than 100%.

Technically, the movie is extremely well taken, the camera angles, the background music, the songs are all crafted to perfection and the amount of thought and effort given to make the movie is reflected on screen.

The story is a simple but a beautiful one, every one of us can relate to it and feel the emotions churning within us.

If it were in my hands to give this movie an award, I would give it an Oscar for sure.

To conclude, a big bow to Amir Khan and the crew for making such a wonderful movie, its not everyday that we get to watch such quality films which are a league apart from all the other movies I have watched recently.

Stars on Earth - Rise, Rise & Rise...

*Look at them, like fresh drops of dew.

Nestled in the palms of

leaves,

Gifts of the heavens,

Stretching and turning,

slipping and

sliding,

Like delicate pearls glinting with laughter.

There are many kids around us who look up to us with their big

brown eyes, but then there is something behind them which should be

taken into consideration. Life is short and these kids dream and

dream for the things which is missing in their life. Aamir Khan, the

perfectionist takes the movie in an emotional node however the reality

is every child is special. They are special not because I had a

childhood which gave lots of bitter experience. Maybe not for the

fact that I had a life where nobody were around me to guide me or to

appreciate me for what I had in me! True, yet painful!

*Open the doors,

draw the curtains,

the wind is all tied up,

let's set it free

I can see my life through these songs because I always wanted

every human being on this earth to have peace, love & happiness.

But I couldn't think about myself and this particular song reminded me

off my childhood. The child in me arose and my dry eye reflected on

my Notebook's screen and yet smiling with all my bitter childhood

incident I had.

*I've never told you.

how scared I am of the dark.

I've Never told you

How much I care for you.

But you know, don't you Ma?

Life is full of memoirs. I do spent my days been alone reeling

back those days where my Mother supported me for the things my Father

stood against for. I love my mother like you all do. Because

without her our life have got no meaning. This song really carried me

off not because it was rhymed well or for the fact that the music was

soothing. No! This song is about my life, maybe many of yours too.

Clear Cut, yet leaves something for us to remember.

*A little sweet, A little sour.

A little close, not too far,

All I need, All I need is to be free.

There is a pain lies in this song. Ofcourse all the songs in

this albums highlights the real life of a child. Maybe for the fact

that He or She doesn't want to speak them out knowing the fact that,

our country doesnt support what a child have to speak! Well, there are

many more like this. If we could know their talent and can lend a

hand, then all these stars on this earth would be a gem. Adnan Sami

touched my heart, and yes one of my favorites in this album. Soothing

yet powerful.

*we all have gone through this life.

we all have so much to remember.

Memories never die.

Long live Creativity.

Cheers!*

AWARD WINNING LYRICS BY PRASOON JOSHi
Dec 14, 2007 05:00 PM 4810 Views

Its after a long time that such soulful music has been composed. hats off to the trio of shankar, Ehsan and loy. The tile song is awesome, the vivid description of kids with similes is superb.

These are the best lyrics of 2007. Prasoon joshi has given each song life and breath by the https://lyrics. Every song describes various emotions feelings of a child. the song maa actually made me cry .  The song Bum Bum bhole by Shaan is a very peppy number and Shaan as usual  makes the song magical with his superb rendering of the song. the song is full of fun and masti.

The song Jame Raho describes the schedule of a kid , it aptly describes the routine of kids these days.

, the song starts with the the noise of an alarm cloak. It describes the competition race faced by students .

Amazing music, I am sure the movie will be great too.

Shankar Ehsaan Loy's signature music is what you can call this album. They have always shown their tendency towards such soulful and lively music. Dus(original one) and Mission Kashmir had vindicated their strength early on. And, Prasoon Joshi is a genius in the making. Read on.

Taare Zameen Par reaffirms a true music lover's belief that as long as the trio is around, you would be very quietly treated with the kind of melodies this album has. Quietly, yes, because these are the songs you can turn back to, true melodies woven with love.

Let me rate each song individually.

  1. Taare Zameen Par:

Most of you would already have a taste of it by now. It is a moving song. Very well done (Info: this is not the best song in the album:)

  1. Kholo Kholo

A masterpiece. Prasoon Joshi had proven his mettle with, as we all know Rang De Basanti. Just watch out for the knocking lyrics this one has. Khoonte se bandhi hai hawa, mil ke chhudao saare. Too good.

  1. Maa

Very soulful. A masterpiece.

  1. Jame Raho

Kicking and delightful. Expresses three different child character types. Very creative!

  1. Bheja Kum

This is just a good song. The weakest in the album, I would say.

  1. Ishaan's theme

A melody on piano. One of those Candlelight kinds. Nice and Beautiful.

  1. Mera Jahaan

A masterpiece again. You have to listen to this song to believe what it is.

All in all, I thought TZP was a must-have album. It's the kind of music your ears long to hear.

Stars Shine Down!!!!
Nov 30, 2007 04:33 PM 9848 Views

Scene:

A family of three Father, Mom & a

kid zooms their way to Mumbai-Pune highway. Its 5:30 AM and they are

their on their kids insistence. He wanted to observe nature for to get

it down on the canvas.

The Kid looks quite sad

.wondering why can't his parents understand his love for drawing. Why

do they want him to excel only in studies? Why as it that he had to

promise them an extra hour of study for this outing?

Mom slips in the CD of Taare Zameen Par and sits back….

~Taare Zameen Par(Shankar Mahadevan, Dominique Cerejo & Vivene Pochha)

Dekho

inhein yeh oas ki boondein, patton ki god mein Aasmaan se koodein

angdayee lein phir karwat badal kar nazuk se moti hans de phisal

kar….kho na jaye ye taare Zameen par….yeh to aasha ki lehar hain, yeh

to umeed ki sehar hain, khushiyon ki nehar hain… *

Mom & Dad*

(thinking): are we putting up too much pressure on our kid for studies?

Should we let him be? Let him follow his dreams? He is just 7 year old.

They are surged with confidence…

That’s the effect of https://lyrics.

What makes the song stand apart is the fact that starting lines are

sung solo and all the paras are by the chorus which has a very

different and special echo effect. The music is simple yet effective.  This one is all about nurturing your kid & his likes. (Rating 5 Stars)

~Kholo Kholo(Raman Mahadean)

Kholo-2 darwaze parde karo kinare, khuntey se bandhi hai hawa mil ke chudao saare… ….khud ko zaraa pehcaan tu….

Kiddo(to

his parents): Wow Mom what a song? It just urges us to follow our

dreams. May be you’ll understand my passion towards drawing?

Wonderful song. This one is all about following your dreams & dreaming different & new dreams Music is bare minimum, the song reaches crescendo with

“To dhoop hai jham se bikhar, tu hai nadee o bekhabar, beh chal kahin ud chal kahin. Dil khush jahan teri toh manzil wahin…where

there is full blown music. Though my knowledge about the musical

instruments is bare minimum but I think there is guitar in the

background and the effect is wonderful. Plus the prelude of guitar is

damn good.  (Rating 5 Stars)

~Bum Bum bole**(Shankar Mahadevan & Amir Khan)

This

one celebrates; it has fun, joy & happiness in it. The family

freak’s out on this one. Music is in pace with the song. Keeps the

tempo high. My favourite line

Bhala machliya bhi kyun udti nahin, aise bhi socho na….khul ke sochein aao, pankh zaraa phailaao, naye khwaab bun le…

The song talks about dreaming beyond dreams & thinking beyond imagination.

The sheer joy in the voices of the kids urges us to smile & to join the celebration.

*The

youngest member of the family adjudges this as the best song of the

album, the family & they celebrate it with breakfast at a roadside

dhaba.      **(Rating 4.5 Stars)

~Jame Raho(Vishal Dadlani)

Ye sote bhee hain attention, aage rehne ki hai tension….jame raho…

The

song is into two parts, one part sings like a robot bringing in focus

the kind of routine sometimes kid fall into & second part talks

about dreaming & leading a normal life.

Mom to Kid, beta this one is just for you. In fact can be your anthem to stick to your goal and to excel in your studies, what say?

KidOhhh Mom….for me this song means whatever the conventional education demands I should stick to my dreams. It has inspired me.

Sung beautifully, the music is just like anthems…get set & goooo…. (Rating 4 Stars)

~Maa.(Shankar Mahadevan)

This

is a sad one, dilemma of a kid who is being packed off to a boarding

school. He is scared to leave his parents, his home, his friends &

the protective environment.

It’s a slow song sung very well by

Shankar. Though I wonder why they have not got it sung by a kid. Music

again is bare minimum and may be that’s why it has more impact. The

lyric is touching. Sample this

Main Kabhi batlata nahin, par andhere se darta hoon main maa….bheed main yun na chodo mujhe….

The kid looks towards his mom, eyes saying, promise me, you won’t do this to me. You won’t send me out?  Mom: I won’t, I promise.   (Rating 4.5 Stars)

~Bheja Kum(Shankar Mahadevan & host of other singers)

This is “Main Aisa kyon hoon” kind of song. Techno & minimum music.  “Kya hai problem? Kyun tera Bheja Kum? Idiot, duffer, lazy, crazy….kya hai tera problem”

To

understand this song the best listen it on a headphone. SEL has

excelled in this. The basic premises of this song is that these are the

thoughts going on in a kid's brain. As if everyone is crowding on

him.to many questions, accusations at the same time.

Kid(accusingly to parents):you

also think the same way for me na? I wonder when my efforts will make

you happy….I wonder whether you’ll allow me to follow my dreams.

Parents:

beta, we know we have been putting pressure on you to study but that’s

for your good. But we also understand your dreams and trust me from now

on we would never stop you from following them.      (Rating 4 Stars)

~Mera Jahan **(Adnan Sami & kids – Music By Shailendra Barve)

This song has a combination of Kids choir who sing in English & then Adnan Sami chips in with the

Hindi translation. The music & lyrics both are excellent. This one is a typical Adnan Sami song.

Udne ko Sau pankh diye hai, chadne ko khula Aasmaan, mudne ko hai karwat karwat, aur badhne

ko mera jahan….All I need, All I need is to be free…

This one talks about breaking free from the conventional. Lyrics win here hands down. *

Parents**:

Wow! What a song, it’s about the celebration of childhood. When they

are just kids it’s on us to show him the direction & options and

ultimately it should be their choice to choose his path. We surely

would let our kid do what he really wants to. If its drawing then be it…**at least he will be

chasing his dreams….

Kid: **Wow Mom & dad, I promise you that whatever I do I would give in my 100% and beyond that.(Rating 5 Stars)

Music

for me is a very personal thing. What I may like might not be liked by

somebody else. But I can gurantee yo that you'll like the allbum if

  • You like simple music.

  • You like Beautiful & meaningful lyrics

  • You like Shankar Ehsaan Brand of music(I usually pick up all their music)

  • Can live with out dhoom dhadaka & Dard-E Disco

  • You had liked the music of Lakshya, Dil Chahta Hai & Rang De Basanti

If I have to decsribe the album in one line it would be

Trendy, simple & for all age groups.

Lyrics by Prasoon Joshi stands out for its sheer simplicity & deep meaning.

As far as I know the movie is about realizing

that each kid is special. Their likes, dislikes or area interests might

be different. But at the end of the day its all about letting the kid

grow in a normal environment with minimum pressure. And this exactly what the songs shell out.
