T. T. K. Restaurant, Garia, Kolkata

Thank you everyone for taking your valuable time out to read this review. Well, to begin with this review the first thing I need to mention is the location of this place is pretty weird. Though it is located very near to a famous college named Andrew's College in Garia, you will find it hard to find out. If you manage to do so, then comes the rest part. This place is divided into two parts. it has a small outdoor seating for quick bites menus like rolls and moghlai. If you are visiting this place for lunch or dinner you have to move inside and then all you notice is a very tacky and dimly lit environment. The tables are very closely placed so there is not much privacy when you visit the place. The servants are really not bothered about the customers and will come to take the order after minimum 15 minutes and then take another hour or so to present the food on your table. I will give 0 stars for presentation as there is no try to present the food in a nice well decorated manner. The food quality is average I would say. The taste is also not out of this world or nothing like you wont get in any normal Chinese or Indian restaurants situated in Garia. They have a signature dish named TTK special rice or Special noodles which is the only dish I really like in this place. I have visited this place a number of times but to be honest I don't prefer going here if there are any other options available. The owner is also very rue and may be he doesn't like people visiting his food joint.(crazy isn't it?) Last but not the least comes the pricing and the prices are reasonable for a few dishes while another few are largely overpriced. To sum up I would say this restaurant has nothing special to offer, be it food or service so if you are at Garia and trying to grab some food, then find some other places and try to avoid this one.

So, this was my review and here is a quick pros and cons:

Pros: 1. tasty rolls and a variety of them are available; 2. Located on a premium location though kind of hidden;

Cons: 1. food quality is average, 2. Customer service is too bad; 3. Rude management people; 4. Huge time taken to prepare the food; 5. Absurd pricing of many cuisines;

This is not the good place for the foodies. Recently they have become the second graded restaurant. There food was not tasty not good for stomach also. Unsanitised table chairs spoons seems not washable. According to the price they provide cheapest food item noodles are very bad. Staffs didn't know cooking they only use spice but food taste remains bogus. They ask for extra tips also. Even this place has no better menu also basic food items are available but no extra innovative food. The most annoying part is after giving order they take a lot of time to deliver the untasty food

Kolkata is best place for foodies but all places are not perfect for foodies . yes TTK is one of them

Night at 8: 10 PM I came here for Soup and order cream with tomato soup and what I observed soup is even not properly hot . they fill it with huge cream I think they do over with it . presentation is very bad. They dont use clean spoons and Taste was ultimately bakwas

This place is air conditioned but food is not tasty at all Dont waste your money here

Recently visited the T.T.K restaurant last month only and it was a total disappointment for a foodie like me.I have heard from my friends that it was quite a decent restaurant which is also pocket friendly, before visiting it in person.The location is a drawback for the restaurant I would say, neither the interior decorations nor the ambience are up to the mark.We have ordered quite a few dishes and it took around an hour to reach our table finally.Food was just OK.We saw there was only a single person taking the order and serving the food.Moreover the restaurant doesn't accepts cards, you need to carry cash everytime.Totally a bad experience!

Have visited TTK restaurant Garia recently on 5th, November and I found that the restaurant lack proper sitting arrangements and ambience, light decoration for that matter. The food served was without proper arrangement and for getting spoon it took them 1 5 minutes and not that great quality for the price they charged at.

The Bengali cuisines dishes are not ok, but due to extra time taken to serve order makes me feel more awkward . The menu card had limited food options and there are no types of food available from moghlai to Cantonese. The menu card that you will find confusing what to order but a little difference here and there doesn’t make a difference at all. Ambience poor, food bad, hygiene poor, tables clean, stewards courteous, price expensive, menu book has nothing at all, order time taken average 10 minutes, location good etc .

Another noticeably is that staff in this restaurant are not bothered to serve the customers but ask for heavy tips at the end of dinner.   But I would not recommend this restaurant at all, as this place there are other restaurants that are serving good food at a cheaper price.

T.T.K. Restaurant is located inisde a narrow and small lane besides Andrew's college. The place is a bit difficult to find if you have never been there before.

Last week I went to my friend's place in Garia and she took me to T.T.K restaurant.The ambience and decor is average with soothing lights. It has 2 floors with great seating arrangement.

Staff is polite and humble.The menu suggested variety of dishes. We ordered chinese- chowmein, chicken manchurian and chicken fried rice.

The service is a bit slow.The chowmein and manchurian was good quantity and quality wise. The dishes were well cooked with less oil. The manchurian I loved the most. The fried rice had good quality rice and as good to have.

The total lunch cost around Rs 500/- . The restaurant is very pocket friendly.A good restaurant in Garia to grab variety of dishes at reasonable rate.
