Swati Snacks, Ellis Bridge, Ahmedabad

I visited ahmedabad this january, swati snacks located near my hotel stay. We got there about 8: 30 but we had to wait there for about 20-30 minutes there. A real taste of gujarat you can have there with a different varieties of food and menu. Full of rush, but if you are visiting the place for first time its worth waiting outside. The cost is high for as per the menu items. But the prices are inclusive of taxes so it is not like too much expensive, but a bit higher than expectations. So, you should try this restaurant atleast once if you are visiting ahmedabad for first time and intersted in gujarati food.

On my trip to Ahmedabad one of my friends took me to Swati Snacks which is located quite close to the famous Law Garden. I liked the place the moment I stepped in! The decorative lights placed at the top helped to create a beautiful ambiance. This place is strictly vegetarian, and you can expect almost everything from Gujarati, Maharashtrian, North Indian and South Indian dishes along with ice creams, desserts, and beverages. We ordered Sabudana Khichdi(a Maharashtrian savory). It was simply delicious! The quantity too was good enough!

The staff at Swati Snacks was very friendly, and the speed of service I felt was more than satisfactory. Therefore, I would definitely like to come back to this place on my next trip to the city of Ahmedabad.

The only thing that you need to be careful is that this place gets a bit crowded in the evenings. So, do keep some waiting time in your hand! Happy outing!

The place has a very ambience and nice set up. Its is perfect for a quiet and romantic dinner. Though a little on expensive side the food is worth it. The quantity is good and presentation of the food is great. Crispy veg had least oil I have found at any other place.

Not very spicy and cooked perfectly.it is perfect for people who are health conscious. It has great local food.do try panki chatni and falafel.its just delicious. It also is a winner of Times Food Award. The staff is friendly and well trained. Reservations are not necessary except for group bookings on weekends.
