Suresh Deshmukh College of Engineering, Wardha

A subsidary of Bapurao Desgmukh College of Engineering-Wardha, SDCOE has no comparison with its present Colg. The facilities and infrastructure provided by Bapurao Deshmukh are way better than Suresh Deshmukh College of Engineering. All the departments of the college study in a same 2-storey small building. The computer labs are common, the library is common, they share a common workshop and even all the departments share common toilets. Many a times, students need to wait for their turn to use these facilities. They have a common auditorium hall for perhaps everything. Here everything means, cultural programmes, meditation sessions, tech festivals, guest lectures and even the University semester papers, all at one place. Moreover, the teaching staff is highly inexperienced as they are just passed out engineering students. During the tech festivals, the students were not even given participation certificates on account of lack of resources. The management is very poor. There is no discipline at all in the campus. Only the thing they properly organise every year is an inter-college Cricket tournament which is full of enthusiasm. There is obviously a reason behind organising it properly. The college sees a good inflow of funds on the basis of participation fees.

The fact is that the college is at a stage where it is not getting many admissions every year and so it can face a shutdown anytime soon. Avoid taking admission here even if it's a last option for you.
