Very bad response from the, labor ward staff, where I was waiting with no information for over 10 min. Later they informed there was no bed for the patient getting treated hear itself. But a nurse separately bargained with my husband for the labour. Thought it was a false alarm for me and the same was confirmed by their hospital sonographer, yet nurse was influencing my husband that they can induce labour in 33rd week and then if required they can opt for normal delivery or c session.

The infrastructure is ok.

This review is probably something that happens in other hospitals too- that is the way India is. But below is my personal experience with SMF, where my parents were going for consultation for 20 years with absolute trust and faith.

Medical care is extremely poor.  Especially for old patients, they think they are entitled to siphon your money without providing proper treatment to the patient- cause either way you can blame it on the age!

My mother has hypertension and diabetes- conditions that are easily managed given the current technology. Some patients do not follow strict regimen- but my mother was one who would absolutely follow the doctor's advise.

The doctor in SMF whom my parents were consulting religiously for 20 years, finally made her into breathing corpse. Knowing that a member of the family was abroad, this ignorant nasty man, satyajit would admit my mother for no reason, pump her with overdose of medications which we can still tolerate, but he never monitored her health on a routine basis to check for the ill-effects of the medication. His attitude was very dismissive because she was above 70 y and he was at best a compounder with half baked knowledge. But my parents still trusted him.

In 2012, when I saw my mother's health deteriorating, I asked him why my her condition was getting worse and requested for alternate treatment: This man's response: he banged on the table in anger and shouted at me and asked me to get out. He shouted: "take them with you and treat them if you know best!" THIS IS NO WAY TO SPEAK TO YOUR PATIENTS OR THEIR FAMILY WHO ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THEIR LOVED ONES. This man was ignorant and had no answer and did not like to be questioned. He just wanted money. He is truly fit for running a brothel house.

In 2015, my mother was showing symptoms of falling down and she almost fainted. The first time we took her, she was admitted and we were never told about the diagnosis. All the doctors who evaluated her had no idea what was wrong. They would repeated do scan and or some test and charged us. But they had not diagnosis. She was discharged after two days and a week later she fainted again and the caretaker rushed her to SMF. None of the family members were nearby. This man satyajit asks the caretaker: how much money do you have. You need to admit her. When the caretaker wanted to contact one of the children, this man shouts at her. Can you believe? The caretaker did the right thing to call a family member. But this man just yells at her. Anyway, after borrowing money from a neighbor, the caretaker admits her and waits for one of the children to arrive. My mother was then shifted to ICU beds and kept for 3 weeks with no diagnosis. No family member was allowed to see her. They simply pumped her with more medications that made her condition worse and also gave her high dose of anti-depressants which damaged her cognitive function- giver her other condition. In the ICU she was kept in stinking diapers, in unhygienic condition. They ignored her health and just kept her there. She lost one eye and hearing because of wrong treatment. Later, the eye specialist who saw her was shocked that her eyes were ignored and her treatment was wrong. Finally they discharged her suddenly after charging us 7 lakhs. And guess what? they did NOT give us discharge summary. When they did give us the summary, it was all made up with no update on her recent visit or the tests or the result.

Today, I am praying that she just passes away peacefully- that is her condition.

I can never forgive the doctors in this hospital. I curse that each one of them suffer in and see their loved ones die in agony for what they did to my mother. I hope they never get to enjoy the ill-earned money they sucked from the helpless patients and their family members. This hospital is as bad as probably other similar hospitals. But Indians have learnt to live with these conditions and will tolerate them. Only karma can hurt these in-efficient and ignorant doctors and the hospitals who are just paving their own way to something really very very bad.

I glad to be the first person to give reviews about this hospital. Really my genuine view is that it is the best one. I went for my second baby delivery with some problem. They worked so hard for the normal delivery. I thought I will go for cesarean.

But the doctors effort and cooperation I delivered normally. Only thing is the cost for the treatment is really high.
