I just read the only review about Sugar N Spice or SNS. I think the fellow that wrote the review is a bit too harsh, but that's ok, no hard feelings.
When you see SNS from the street and as you approach it, you immediately notice how busy that cafe is.
Its always packed, full house.why? The basics, its a place for many of the local, singles, students and the like to hang out. Some just get off work, want to relax over an Americano and a hookah.
SNS is not the type of place where you go for a quiet evening.no way Jose!
Its really not for a family, unless you go there during the mid afternoon when there is no one there.
The staff, yeah they have a bit of difficulty with English.well so do most people in Bangalore. They speak Hindi perfectly.so if you have any questions address them in Hindi, if you can. The owners are always verifying the order to make sure its correct, which is rather friendly.
The number one reason I go there is because of its local, its close to my house and its an open air cafe. Its a great place to people watch.I haven't found another in the area that is appealing or laid back.
If you want Global Street Cafe experience you need not to bother with SNS. SNS is a community cafe with locals, artists, and students from abroad. Just a chill venue.no hype no pretensions.
By the way, if you have the opportunity, try out their bountiful veggie pizza, its good.
Oh you can check out the blog they have https://sugarandspicecafe.blogspot.com/
