IIT JEE is the thought to be the hardest exam in india and with the quantity of hopefuls for the exam expanding each year it is getting to be plainly harder for understudies to get into the IIT's. In any case, let me disclose to you that it's not as intense as it looks since over 60% of the hopefuls are not very much arranged for the exam and are not genuine about it no your opposition decreases to the greater part even before you being getting ready.

It's better in the event that you being planning from the being of tenth standard for the exam on the grounds that the prior you begin the additional time you get the chance to comprehend the ideas and you excel in the competition. Then in eleventh standard ideally join an exceptionally rumored instruction class since they have substantial experience and control you in the most ideal way.

finish all the homework you made a request to do and further more endeavor to take care of some expansion issue individually from books like H.C. Verma, college material science and so forth the same number of ideas are rehashed specifically in the exam. try not to focus on equation rather than endeavor to take in the ideas and apply them.

And furthermore attempt to settle earlier year IIT papers from books containing 35 to 40 years old papers as a few issue are specifically rehashed.

How to make it to IIT
Sep 19, 2017 11:54 PM4961 Views

First of all let me introduce myself, I am Sahil Labhshetwar I am student at IIT madras. My all India rank was 3548 in open category.

It is not that difficult to make it to IIT, just there is a hype that it is very tough . Yes it is true that 16 lakh people give the exam and only 10, 000 are selected.

But frankly speaking only a few of the 16L prepare sincerely .

Many think that you have to start preparing from childhood to get into IIT, but it is not like that, I started my preparation when I was in my 11th std.

Yes you have to make efforts, you have to study for at least 6 hours per day.

And according to me its wise to join some coaching classes, I was is Bansal for example.

You can join any good coaching that will not matter, your study is what matters.

ATTITUDE TOWARDS YOUR GOAL IS THE KEY!!!
Sep 16, 2017 02:11 AM5167 Views

IIT JEE is one of the most prestigious exams in INDIA and ech and every student aiming to crack JEE has one question in common "WHAT SHOULD I DO TO QUALIFY FOR JEE?"

Well the answer is very simple.

FIRSTLY, you need to study the basics which is the NCERT BOOKS.Once you have completed that, then it's time for you to go to higher level question such as H.C. VERMA for physics, R.D. SHARMA for maths etc.Directly skipping to higher level will demoralize you and will reduce your interest from that subject. Also you should not completely stick to easy part of the syllabus as the JEE paper consist both of easy and difficult questions and you need to solve them to qualify it, RIGHT!. Most students run towards coaching classes for fulfilling their dreams but it should be completely your choice to join them or not as each student has it's own learning speed but coaching institutes don't consider that fact and are always in rush to complete syllabus.SO, IF YOU FEEL THAT YOU CAN SURVIVE THAT, YOU CAN GO FOR THAT.

SECONDLY, you need to keep things simple in your life.Neither you be a complete bookworm nor you should be nor you should have a careless attitude towards studies.you need to create a balance between you social life and studies.ONLY STUDIES CAN NOT BRING YOU TOWARDS SUCCESS, IT'S YOUR ATTITUDE TOWARDS IT WHICH DEFINES YOU.

THANKS

Make Your Concepts Strong As Steel

Many students in India prepare and appear in IIT JEE exam, but very few of them gets selected . The reason behind this is the vast syllabus and level of haedness in the exam . So while preparing for IIT JEE you need to focus on some basic things . The most important thing is the concepts, we should have a clear cut picture of every topic in our mind, rather that learning methods we should work on learning the concepts in better ways . The another most important thing is practice, you should practice more and more questions so that you should get used to solving hard problems . Also you should practice previous years' questions which got repeated two or more times in the exam . You should also learn some shortcut tricks to solve certain problems which would save your time during the exam . If you work really hard and prepare under right guidance, then definitely you will be able to crack the exam .

Focus on concepts and work hard
Mar 01, 2017 08:55 PM6749 Views

IIt jee is considered to be the toughest exam in India and with the number of aspirants for the exam increasing every year it is becoming tougher for students to get into the IIts. But let me tell you that it's not as tough as it looks because more than 60% of the aspirants are not well prepared for the exam and are not serious about it no your competition reduces to more than half even before you start preparing.

It's better if you start preparing from the start of 10th standard for the exam because the earlier you start the more time you get to understand the concepts and you get ahead in the competition. Then in 11th standard preferably join a very reputed coaching class because they have large experience and can guide you in the best way.

Complete all the homework you are asked to do and also try to solve some addition problems on your own from books like H.C, Verma, university physics, etc. as many concepts are repeated directly in the exam. Don't concentrate on formulas rather try to learn the concepts and apply them.

And also try to solve previous year iit papers from books containing 35-40 year old papers as some problems are directly repeated.

Hii friends and every body reading this article. Right now I'm a student at IIT guwahati and I'm writing this article with full experience of not only 2 years of preparation but the experience of whole journey of my academic life.

If I talk about me first then, I first thought about any competitive exams when I'm in class 8. I start preparing for NTSE. Yes I admit it that I was a bit good in studies or rather u can say I was not bad if not too good. But the main thing to notify u is that from class 8 to 10 I did pass or succedded in any of the competitive exam that were thought to be have to cleared necessarily in order to go in IITs after 12th.

OK let me remind you but that doesn't mean that for admission in IITs it's OK if you are careless or you are weak in studies or any any other demerit you have is fine.No never.to get admission in any IIT you have to be fully dedicated and smart and hardworking.

The only thing I want to tell from my example is that if you are sincere student not necessarily a prodigy in class till 10th you have scored at least 85% in your every class not necessary in between 95 to 100 and you are running along with your academic courses till 10th and understand the concept fully well to a certain level and the main and the most important thing I you have very very strong will power to get your dreams come true then you can easily reach and full fill your aims just in 2 years with full discipline and dedication and yes with the help of some fine teachers it become a bit more easy

SO WHAT TO DO AFTER 10th

1.Find a good coaching institute for your preparation a institute with good repo and which does not have a very very large strength of students as in such institute they only become topper centered

Institutes and do not pay full attention to average or above average students. I would recommend a institute which have teachers who are themselves IIT passouts at least one.

2.Leave almost anything that distract your mind not only those who waste your time. As because in the prep of JEE it's all about the development of mind and to do so you must focus your mind on right thing. Every little unwanted activity will cost you a bit not so much and in exam like JEE a bit is very much.

You may not leave the physical activities you do or if u play any sports then u can continue it or if u have any another hobby u may go for it also as the JEE preparation allows a 2 hour freedom daily but remember in these two hours don't distract your mind by watching TVs doing mobile or any other fullish things rather use this time alsi in developing your mind by either playing any physical sports by doing drawing or anything of your likeness which must not be rubbish like doing chat on social sites

3.On the starting of your preparation it's necessary to do a study of 4 hours daily a day from first day and as you will go further in the preparation you will yourself observe after almost one month that to sustain in the course of JEE you have to increase your study hours so in 11th the 7 hours home study not compiled of your coaching our is enough and if you don't have a coaching class on a certain day, a 10 hours study is fully enough. And in 12 you have to increase your study hours to 8 hours and 11 hours on non coaching days

4.The first priority for you is to run along with the courses on your institutes and if you are able to it them satisfactorily you may opt for some more good bookes on your topics for a better preparation below I'm writing some of the books which are considered one of the best for JEE prep.

FOR MATHS

1.SL LONEY TRIGNOMETRY

2.SL LONEY COORDINATE GEOMETRY

3.HALL AND KNIGHT FOR HIGHER ALGEBRA

4.V.GOVROV FOR EQUATIINS AND INEQAUATIONS

FOR CHEMESTRY

1.MACMURRY AND FAY

2.FOR INORGANIC CHEMISTRY

FOR PHYSICS

1.HC VERMA VOLUME 1 AND 2

  1. HALLUDAY RESNICK AND JEARL WALKER

3.UNIVERSITY PHYSICS

PREPERATION FOR FUTURE

According to me if u want to do or want to crack iit jee then u have to give ur 2 years life fully devoted to it means 10+2 u should focus only on study nothing else then there will be chances to do something good in this examination.

If u join some coaching or course then u should be devoted 1000% towards it if ur focus is gone for some day ur whole preparation wills suffer so be patient and do hard work if u want to do coaching after 10+2 then according to me u should not join any coaching make a tym table sit at home and study for entire year honestly results will be better because in coaching they will give u all that thing which u have already studied in 11 and 12 so revise it with different set of books join some test series to see how well u can do so u have to work hard for this thing and hard work required do so.

Jobify word press Job board - a fraud theme
Dec 10, 2014 10:48 PM24265 Views

Hi, I have purchased Jobify word press theme from envato.com, I have installed every thing but it has got lot of bugs I don't know where to report, the author does not provide any contact email id for me to address the problem.

They have a support forum but every time I try to enter they ask a purchase key or some amount to purchase. Initially I have bought the theme for 58$ again I have been redirected to purchase additional plugins worth 150$.

After several emails send to Envato support and not getting any reply from them I am forced to publish this article so that buyers like me can be aware of.

I feel that this is completely cheating with completely nonsense themes and plugins. Even after hiring a professional word press programmer I could not make the site live.

I request buyers to beware of envato market they don't have a proper customer support but only provide a forum which they will never address.

Sanjivani for IIT Dreamers!
Dec 04, 2014 12:30 PM25777 Views

My friend was taking coaching from a reputed coaching but something was missing in his preparation. He was just not getting good score in coaching exams.

Then he joined etoosindia.com, which is an online coaching. As there is no need to stay in Kota, he left for his home and then prepared with etoosindia.com and now he is in IIT.

Etoos was a Sanjivani for my frustrated friend to get his aim back.

Don't fear, just stay ahead of others.
Aug 24, 2014 09:33 PM28364 Views

I would like to say to all my friends that please do not stress about iitjee but please take necessary steps to stay ahead of the competition. I studied in Kota for 2 years and despite scoring good marks in my coaching, I could not secure rank AIPMT.

When I came back to Patna, my father wanted me to join Aakash but I knew coaching will not help. I was suggested career orbits.com by a senior who made it to a very good college. I had a very negative outlook at first towards this course but I found it is better than the material I got from coaching and best part is I can study at home all day.

Moreover, it is like a self-tutor with best questions and detailed solutions. It has some unique features called'glossary on mouseover' and difficulty level settings. It is impressive and I feel it definitely packs a punch at such an affordable price.

I gave my AIPMT exam this year and scored 526 and got to Lady Harding, Delhi. You know what, career orbits taught me that you cannot succeed until and unless you prepare yourself. No coaching or teacher can make you crack any exam.

4 reasons to NOT practice from past JEE papers
Jan 19, 2014 10:11 AM38181 Views

January is when I started practicing from past JEE papers when I was a preparing for JEE. To think back, it was not the best approach.

Here are the main reasons why you should not do the past year’s IIT JEE papers. Read on to know what you should do instead:

Easy Questions:

Believe it or not, but past year’s JEE questions are now deemed easy. Questions which appeared for the first time in 1990 have standard formulae now and you have practiced hundreds of such questions already. Practicing those questions will not prepare you for JEE 2014.

Question Format:

JEE 2014 does not have subjective questions. So why practice them? You have limited practice time and you will only get one chance at cracking JEE. Be smart and focus on the question format that you are going to find in JEE 2014.

Time Format:

Time format of the test has also changed over time. You will not get 3 tests of 2 hours each(JEE 2004 format). If you do past year papers with their timer, you are practicing a wrong test format. Don’t do that. Practice for what you will be getting in JEE 2014.

No Comparison With Others:

Did you do 18 out of 20 questions in 2009 JEE paper? 15 of them correct? How did the other people perform? Don’t know? Well it is a big problem! On the day of JEE 2014, it will not matter how you did. What will matter is how you did compared to everyone else. You will not be able to know this while doing past JEE papers at home.

So, do I not practice past JEE papers then?

You do. You still need to practice the past JEE questions but in the format that you will get in JEE 2014. More importantly, you want to know how you compare against students all over India. The team at Coach Pal thought a lot about these challenges and came up with a good solution.

They currently run a test series with all questions from the past JEE papers converted into an objective format. The questions are jumbled to give you the same difficulty level as JEE 2014. Add to that the fact that when you take the test series, you compare against students all across India, or your real competition.

That is what you need to prepare well. And, that is what you get with the Coach Pal( http://www.coachpal.me) Test Series!

Feel the pressure of JEE Main before the exam
Jan 10, 2014 05:46 PM37055 Views

I recently took a mock test for JEE Main which has the exact procedure of online JEE main. The students can go to the website register online select a test center. Then they issue the admit card and you go to the test center to give the exam on their computer system. The exam is conducted online at the same centers as JEE Main online exam. The name of the exam is JEE Knockout. I thought you should know so that you can use it as a trial.

This gives the best practice to experience JEE Main online exams.

At last boon for IIT-Jee preparation
Oct 08, 2013 12:19 AM12995 Views

For a successful preparation one must need the right tools. It will be best if you get the notes from the person who had already qualified for the IIT-JEE, they will help a lot.

You can easily get the material of previous toppers easily online. I will recommend https://toppersnotes.in for getting the toppers material. They provide handwritten material of toppers. They are extremely valuable with very low price.

Iit jee... the destroyer of billions of lives
Jun 13, 2013 01:15 AM13186 Views

Lakhs n lakhs of students have been investing all their time n money into this shit* called IIT JEE.

its a total time waste. Students may use this time to do much better jobs.

spending time to study for IIT is worthless. more n more IITs are coming into being every year. the original quality of IITis degrading, only the competition to the IITs is increasing that too with an intensive rate. with this decreased quality in the IITS, devoting this much time into it is no use. one must drop the idea of IITif he or she feels it even a bit difficult.

enjoy life.. its short... IIT should not be a part of it.
