Having moved to Bangalore from Mumbai , I was naturally excited to be getting an opportunity to eat good South Indian food.
The most important meal of the day is lunch and I have been going to many a food joint to get the best. One has a great choice of Andhra , Kerala,Tamil Nadu Cuisine in Bangalore .I have not been to any satisfying place that serves good Tamil Nadu cuisine or Kerala yet for that matter.
Now getting back to my review, Sri Krishna Kafe(pronounced that way!) was recomended by a colleague and I decided to take my family out there on a weekend. This is an unassuming place nicely tucked away in happening Koramangala. You will need to wait for a few minutes if you go there between 1 -2 pm. The ambience is just about ok but who cares !
Their lunch is served on long spacious banana leaves , the food serving helpers wear gloves and instantly you start liking the whole place ! On weekends they charge Rs 65 for an unlimited meal and on weekdays its Rs 55.
This unlimited meal consists of 3 sabzi's (all south indian),''parippu''(dal)vada,HOT steaming rice and a tomato pulav. There are 4 different gravies which include sambar, rasam, moru kozhambu(kadi types),and puli kozhambu and not to meniton the achar and appalams. You could top this up with a mild kheer which is just ok
Go ahead and stuff yourself on a lazy weekend and make sure you reach home fast to crash land on your bed....!

- Thank You! We appreciate your effort.
