Make sure that your modem is compatible to the paid MBPS connection. There are some models which are not compatible to higher than the 50 or 40 MBPS. Buy a modem which can give you more high speed Internet connection.

If you are facing issue with the speeding up your Internet connection contact to the Internet cable operator and make a complaint of your issue if they are effective with the work they will fix the issue which you are facing slow Internet connection.

Kindly do not use reliance broadband connection if you want to leave in peace. I have taken this connection but for each month half of the time it remains down. I have done several complain but there is no solution. You can only connect to customer care and they will log a ticket but no one will work on the issue and after some day ticket will be closed and you will be found that the issue is not resolved.

Nextra service is just pathetic. My internet is not working properly since more than a month. there is some problem in the line and due to which DSL drops intermittently. I am tired complaining this not less than 20 times. Your engineers are not able to fix my problem and saying that I should get my router changes which have no issues. NOW I AM SO MUCH FED-UP THAT I HAVE REQUESTED TO DISCONNECT THIS SERVICE.

Dear Sir / Madam,

Greetings

Let me introduce myself, M.N.Subbiah Manikandan working as an Engineer in a MNC. I am using your Airtel Broad band service for the past one year. I got the Airtel Broadband connection in my Fathers name, Dr.S.Madaswamy. with a phone number is 04442819025.

I've registered a complaint on 05.03.11 at 9.30pm & the Service request reference no. is 43810156, at once I received a message to my mobile that the problem will be rectified on 06.03.11 before 2.30pm.

Being Sunday (06.03.11) we had a plan for outing & waited upto 3.30pm & we didnt receive any call from your service person, finally we received a call at 3.45pm from your service person regarding location of our home. Since we left our home we communicated to that person & he agreed to come on the next day(07.03.11).

On Monday 07.03.11 a service person came to our home & we explained the issue(Disconnection of the Internet while working & slow speed connectivity), He tried to rectify it & the problem persists even after his trial & he to noticed that the problem is not rectified. Finally he told that the issue will be rectified while on working, but it is not so & he asked us to call us if the problem repeats. On 08.03.11 we called the service person who attended the issue, since the problem has not been rectified & it was told that we need to contact another service person.

We lost our patience & called your customer service executive Mr.Subramani on 09.03.11 at 6.35 pm, we once again explained the whole story, he told that the problem will be sorted at the next day (10.03.11) at any cost & we got confirmation from your person that he too agreed that we wont pay for the days which we didnt use the Internet connection because of the Problem(Disconnection of the Internet while working & slow speed connectivity).

On 10.03.11none attended the problem.

I talked once again to your person on 11.03.11 & once again explained the whole story, as usual he told that it will be rectified on the next day (12.03.11).

Finally a new modem was installed on 13.03.11 & the issue got rectified. So as agreed by your person that we wont pay for the days which we didnt use the Internet connection because of the Problem(Disconnection of the Internet while working & slow speed connectivity) I will pay only as per the attached excel sheet.Can you please explain what is the reason for the delay in response & why it took 10 days to sort out the issue?

So consumers please never ever buy Airtel boradband this is my humble request

Worst Service Provider in Hyderabad:-BEAM TELE

I'm truly a frustrated customer of BEAM Tele from Shaik-pet, Dargah Area of Hyderabad.

Everyday connection is going down 10-15 times.Even if they are promising for giving 10Mbps per Rs1000, they are not even providing 2 Mbps speed as per the cost per month.Their service is too bad, In experienced technicians are there and some employees in this company are truly not doing any work for the customers.

Definitely one day this company will be closed soon, if it will go on for a long time.I'm waiting for that day to come, so that I can switch to some other good service provider.

Everyday I'm sending at least 10-20 mails for the issue in their service.

Don't take any new connection from this service provider.I'm truly frustrated enough.

I have recently shifted from Bangalore to Pune and have taken a house in a Big society. Getting a Internet connection here is a big pain.

Tata Indicom has taken the dealership for the entire society. When you go and apply for a Internet connection they charge huge security deposits and also take their own sweet time. Then after there were two representatives from tata Indicom whom came on two different days. The first person charged a security deposit and said the connection would take 7 working days.

The second person came after 3 days and said there is no security deposit and said the connection would take 3 working days. There were a lot of contradiction within the representatives. The other sad part is that they do not allow other service providers in the society. I had inquired BSNL and was told that it will take 2 months for the connection. I also faced the same problem in Bangalore. I applied for a BSNL connection and was waiting for 7 months and finally canceled the application. Hence be cautious on applying Internet connection.

Every body wants to use a internet connection at high speeds so I too shifted from my 52kps dailup connection to you( previously iquara) I thought that 96 kbps wil be sufficient for me but finally the speed is only 16kbps max that to in the morning 3am, I cant even open gmail after complaining abou this so many time to the customer care it is no use, so I decided to change my plan to 512 kbps with 500mb monthly usage.

*Now every thing started changing

*they said they will not change the plan only in the begining of the month and charged 250 for plan change but sudenly they canged the plan in between the month because of this for that month I have been charged 350 more because I used extra mbs and in the bill adjustment i lost rs90 as tax for which I paid before. by the way any guess what is the speed now it is doubled double experiencec it is 32kbps sometimes upto 100during downloads

ON 29-12-06 I got 4 sms with the message 7day free trail for you play, so I read the terms and conditions in that the main point is* u will not be charged for downloading the games but will be charged for browsing the game sites. it is fine so I subscribed for it and started toto download a game which is1.44gb after 600mb is downloaded net disconnected, the next day 100mb usage has been added to my account . I shut down my computer and started the next day, I called the customer care and they said it will be deleted from ur usage.and I started mu computer the next day at the same time and was shocked to find out another 200mb has been addedthen also the customer guy said this will not be charged but finally when the bill came a 300mb was there and im charged with rs 400(with tax).

even after all this the bill has came but I didnt downoad the game .

what could be the bill for this month I dont know because they simply say they will see in to the matter but keep on billing I unsubscribed from the youplay on 4th and the link hasbeen sent to my mail but u know what- the link did not open.

so today im able to unsubsribe and 200mb r consumed.

so before subsribing for any thing just take a minute to search fot it in this site

There were times when we had a lot of connection issues, international bandwidth was costly, and necessary equipments were not in place. But past is history. Today we have a connection of minimum 256 Kbps (thats what is called as broadband in INDIA). The main issue is speed of connection. I have MTNL's Triband. 256 Kbps Night unlimited plan. Being a techsupport guy altogether I come across people complaining that their Internet connection speed is not upto the mark as claimed by their ISP. So I decided I will now research more on this matter. A few ISP's were selected. MTNL, SIFY, HATHWAY, etc. I closely monitored the internet connection during peak times and late night. After closely monitoring them I found out that its not always the ISP. The computer is also equally responsible. For example a PIII 833 MHz 128 MB RAM connected to sify broadband gave a HTTP transfer of 32 KBps (256 Kbps connection) but when time to go from one website to another it took time because of low system resources. Connecting my Notebook did prove the point. (well that sify guy had to be called to reconfigure MAC on the switch as computers changed). Hathway was under scrutiny, it again performed better with a transfer of 28- 29 KBps. My MTNL connection was stable with 27 - 28 KBps transfer rate. IQUARA was quite dissapointing. The max the transfer we got was 26 Kbps. Transfers stabled at 24- 25 KBps. Now comming to the main part. In peak times MTNL rocked with consistent transfer of 27- 28 KBps. Sometimes it came down to 22 KBps. Same was the condition with SIFY and HATHWAY but still MTNL was better than the rest. Worst was IQUARA with speeds dropping to 10 KBps at 8 AM in the morning. Speeds continued to be almost same in peak times. So most of the time that we see that ISP's should not be blamed. It also could be our computer. Here are the list o fthings you can do to get the most out of your internet connection. 1> Minimum system RAM should be 512 MB with a good processor. 2> Keep the system clean. Free from Viruses and spyware. Use more than one spyware software to scan your computer. 3> Schedule complete spyware scan ever 2 days. 4> Schedule virus scan every week. 5> Keep your antivirus software upto date. 6> Control the programs starting with windows 7> Avoid P2P programs running in the background as they consume bandwidth even when you are not downloading. 8> Uninstall unwanted protocols that consume or reserve bandwidth like QOS 9> Shut down your cable or DSL modem if any when you shut the computer. Sometimes they jam up when at work. So to avoid unnecessary downtimes shutdown the modem when not in use. Spywares can take over your bandwidth and the result is slower internet acess. MAny other factors are responsible which may be out of your control but atleast you can control whats within your control. Rest leave it to your ISP. Beleive me they just cannot mess up by providing worst service. Hope you find this informative.

These days, everyone is complaining about a slow broadband connection. Everybody is getting high blood pressure from their Internet Service Providers. I bet you are one of them. Read this review and get some solace!

Do you remember those days, not so long back, when all you prayed was that your modem gets hooked up with the ISP on one single attempt? Do you remember those messages ''The remote computer did not reply to a network request'' or ''verifying user name and password'' forever and ever?

Did you forget those tragic days when a hotmail inbox took 10 minutes to load, if you were browsing before midnight? And your internet bill was 200 rupees, but your telephone bill was 2000, and all you did was browse for half an hour everyday.

Dont forget the past if you want to feel happy. In Rome, act like Romans, expect like Romans, rememeber like Romans! Remember BSNL, who took 20 days to repair a minor cable fault and you had to complain twice for that. And after repair your internet ceased to connect at all, because there was a lot of crackling noise in the line, but BSNL staff did not have the idea of ''noise'' or a ''loose contact''.

All they knew was ''if conductors touch each other, electrons will flow''. Thats why all of their connections were based on ''touching'' conductors. It took YOU, a poor commerce graduate, to explain an oxide layer on copper that has to be scrapped off, and how to make a firm connection, that will last for some time.

Remember the shock you got, when in the end they asked you for a 100 rupees tip for listening to your suggestions, and they behaved very rude because you refused to pay it. They threatened you of a worse service when you lodged your next complaint.

Folks, dont forget your roots. Right now, there is no single company in our country capable of providing a stable broadband service for your home. That is because the name of the country is India, and we pay in Rupees, not USD. And we have a huge population which totals to a several 1000 Gigabytes/second if every PC owner uses broadband.

So have some mercy on those ISP companies, whose helpline consists of people with network knowledge inferior to that of a +2 arts student (In reality they employ Graduates in Electronics)... Have mercy on that auto rickshaw driver turned cable operator, who knows what is a Hub or a Switch, but has no idea what is a Pentium or a reset button. Dont feel sorry that their service is not so rash as their driving, though their mouths may be. So, have mercy, have patience. All you can do right now is remember the past, wait, watch, and reduce your doctor's bills.
