Smile Stylers - Trivandrum

My lower front teeth were wearing down, as I've gotten older,

and there was risk of further wear and breakage(possible further

surgery to repair.) The doctor correctly assessed the need and performed exactly as promised.

I am very pleased with the results.

I went to India not knowing what I needed done exactly, I knew I had, had an infection for a few months which had become resistant to Irish antibiotics. I knew I had wanted something done with my front teeth for cosmetic reasons, and I had a back tooth which was in a bad way but that I was trying to save in case Dr. Sundheep could save/use it.

When I arrived I was pleasantly surprised by how familiar looking the surgery was. It was just like any surgery in Ireland. The level of hygiene was excellent. And the staff were welcoming and friendly. I was sent straight away for x-rays, this took 5 minutes and cost the equivalent of 6 euro. I was speechless at the efficiency and price.

When I had proper x-rays done the extent of the infection and the damage an undiagnosed sleep disorder had done became apparent. I needed a lot more work then originally planned. In total I had 11 root canals , 18 crowns , 2 extractions, an implant and all of my ugly black fillings replaced with white fillings.

Now somethings you should know about me, I am afraid of needles, I have an extremely low pain threshold and I don't particularly like dentists. I am not the ideal patient. However Dr. Sundheep was incredible with me. He had incredible patience with me and made sure I was comfortable throughout all of my procedures. He goes the extra mile to take care of his patients. And his other staff are a collection of lovely , warm , kind ladies who take care of your needs.

And I only had 2 weeks to have all of this work done , Dr Sundheep and his staff came in on days off to make sure I was finished in time. I live in Ireland and comparably price wise and I have done the maths it is a third of the cost. I have had a complete mouth makeover, I have had an overbite which I have hidden for years behind half smiles, I used to be able to fit the tip of my thumb between my top teeth and my closed bottom teeth. Now I can barely fit my nail.

I could not be happier with the service I received from Smile Stylers and Dr. Sundheep. And on the days you are not in the surgery Kerala is beautiful.

I haven't stopped smiling since my treatment finished!! I arrived in Kovolam on holiday with no intention of having dental treatment although I have my appointment with my dentist very soon so I knew there was a great deal of work to be done. I saw the clinic advertised in the hotel and decided to make enquiries which I did the day after arriving. My first appointment with Dr Alias was the next morning at 10am. By 11am I was in the surgery and all systems go! I had two worn out bridges removed to find treatment was required to the roots etc under the old bridges. In fact several fillings and one root extraction had to be done before we even decided on the correct shade for the new bridges. I had - I believe - 14 upper teeth on two bridges done and I can honestly confirm that it was completely painless. The full treatment two nine days including waiting days, to complete which would have taken months in the UK. The hygiene was 100% and the attitude of all the dentists and the nurse was professional and, dare I say, made me relaxed at all times. That is a completely honest statement. All I can say for the Clinic is that I would recommend it to anyone who wants the very best dental treatment available anywhere and at a price about 20% of what I would have had to pay in the UK.

Hello people I recently just returned from a trip to kerala and I noticed a lot of adverts for dentists while I was there so being as I had one of my front teeth missing from eating a pack of walkers french fries. I decided to use Smilestylers and I am absolutely over the moon.

Sunjeev the dentist which by the way lady_writer you would know this if you even set foot in the place decided to do a clean and polish, two root canals, extraction and a bridge fitted im not joking when I say this is the best dentists ive been in ever.

Througout the work I felt no pain what so ever maybe a little sore but that is to be expected and I cannot believe how well they matched the bridge colour I have never got the treatment from a dentist like that in the uk even while I was waiting for my bridge he gave me a temporary plastic bridge just so I didnt have to walk round like dracula theres just no way I would have got this here I am absolutely over the moon I can smile to my customers at work now what more can I say.

I am sarah brooks and i live in london.i happen to hear about smile stylers from my english friends , couple of years back.since i heard very highly of them, I thought I woud have a vacation in kovalam combined with dental treatment at smile stylers, trivandrum.the reason for making such a move was i heard the standard of treatment was very high and the prices very reasonable.i underwent dental implants, crown and bridge with root canal treatment, porcelain veneers six of them for my upper anterior teeth.

All the procedures were done according to world class standard.i didnot expect so much from that clinic. I cross checked with my dentist in uk and he had very high apprieciation for the dental treatment done on me.the injections were absolutely pain free, the equipment were like in any other clinic in europe.the behaviour of the staff and doctors were so good.

I was so relaxed in the clinic.normally back home, i am tensed going to the dentist. The treatment cost were very reasonable. Hats off to smile stylers team. What is the real intention behind such an attack on areputed Dental Clinic like Smile Stylers? The article would have carried morevalue if the name wasn’t as anonymous as Lady-Writer.

It has a phony sound toit and I suggest the person should come out and file a suit against the clinicif this is genuine with all proof. The saddest part is about the people whocome out making comments without knowing the real truth.

My appreciation andpraises to Ms. Phil Fleming to come out and share her wonderful experience withSmile Stylers here, and shedding some genuineness to the whole issue. I guessMs Phil has narrated her experience at Smile Stylers and she must be feelingglad that she took up treatment there. I hope this must be an eye-opener forpeople who come out and put articles for vested intentions like that ofLady-Writer. Please refrain from doing so in the future at least.

I have just read the review by'Lady Writer' and wonder if there is another agenda to this review than meets the eye.?

I first went to the Smile Stylers clinic by chance after meeting people whilst on holiday in Kovalam. The people we met were an Indian couple living in the Uk and had come from London especially for dental treatment with the Smile Stylers clinic. They introduced us to Dr. Elias who we found to be both professional and extremely knowledgeable. On that occassion I had a number of treatments including the crowning of implants that were to be crowned the following week on my return home.

He did a superb job for a fraction of the price I would have paid here in Spain.

He also did major reconstructive work for my husband which included a complete top and bottom mouth full of implants, which were the structure to support his teeth. A temporary set of teeth were supplied and we returned once again six months later to have the work completed when the implants had enough time to settle and were deemed to be 100% sound.

We loved Kovalam so much that we went back on holiday a few months later. Bringing with us a friend who also needed to get dental work done.(And looked 10 years younger after the work was finished!). We called for a check up with Dr. Elias. He was a little unhappy with the way my husbands top teeth had settled, so completely replaced the work he had done FREE OF CHARGE! WEdidn't see anything wrong with my husbands work but being the professional he is Dr. Elias insisted on getting the work done again. How anyone can say he is in this just for the money is hard for me to understand. During our various visits to his clinic we met and spoke to many different people most of whom were English who had heard about the Smile Stylers clinic and had come to Trivandrum for treatment. NOT ONE OF THE PEOPLE I MET PERSONALLY at the Smile Stylers clinic had a bad word to say about their treatment.

Again, I wonder what'Lady Writer' thinks, how the conclusions were reached? Do you think that people don't work for money? I know I would be disappointed not to be paid for the work I do.

What IDO know is that the work Dr. Elias and his amazing team did for us in Trivandrum would have cost four times more in my country, would have taken a year not a couple of weeks and would have been painful. We were treated with respect and courtesy at all times and going to the dentist was for the first time ever a positive experience.

Be proud of the work of this clinic India. And if you do have a bad review don't be afraid to give your real name.

PS The clinic is not that luxurious - in fact they could buy some soft seats seeing as you have to wait from time to time and the chairs they have are uncomfortable. Bring a book!

I had gone to Smile Stylers to align and correct my smile. The doctor suggested that I go for ceramic crowns, which was totally unnecssary. After the procedure, I know that veneers would have been a much better option. Before starting the procedure he told me that the crowns will last for life, but now after researching online I know that they last only for 10 years and then they will need to be replaced. The problem was not rectified even with the expensive procedure, in fact the new crowns look worse than the old teeth. Moreover, the crowns have a metal cap inside and when he fixed it there was a black shadow across the gumline which should never have happened. When I questioned him about it, he said it's my gums, but now I know that the shadow is the metal cap and this problem is supposed to occur only after 10 years of having the crown. In my case, the day he put the crowns in the shadow was visible.

The doctor makes very tall claims and promises and you can get quite easily fooled by the plush interiors of the clinic. Stay away from this place as they do not recommend the right procedure, they only recommend the most expensive and the results are far from satisfactory. The doctor is very evasive about questions and is bothered only about making money. He has absolutely no sense of aesthetics and looks only for the most expensive and good enough fix. People looking for real cosmetic improvement should clearly look away. With such scruples as that of the dentist, even other dental complaints are likely to be used as an avenue to make more money. I wish I had never gone to that place. It has been over 6 months since I put the crowns in and the teeth still feels alien to my mouth.
