Sirsi

We and my friends visited the place by car to attend a marriage ceremony during the monsoon. We started at night and reached early morning. The first sight of the place will make you feel like it was located around a forest as there were good numbers of trees and the air was fresh. We had our room booked and also a friend was there to receive us. I must say the people are very friendly and we didn't had any problem in terms of food and navigation. The road side food dabbas on the highway was nice and we had a great time. After reaching we rested for some time and then attended the marriage and from there only went to nearby waterfall. It was a unique experience and by the time we reached to the nearest point to the waterfall it started raining. The waterfall mist and the monsoon rain made the scenic beauty more attractive. There are stairs to go down the place which is the only thing we all found challenging but overall it a must one time visit place to spend some time in peace and enjoy with loved ones like a picnic.

Bakula Home Stay.

Bad reviews are not uploaded in their testimonials. Hence you do not see a bad review on their page.

Cottages are ok but very bad service. The owner BJ Hedge is an idiot? Speaks non sense and non stop?. My colleague was from the same place and was with us and we got to know that the owner speaks anything to fool visitors?. A strict no no to this homestay. Due to their bad treatment, the amount of customtakeouters are comparatively less hence the name of the homestay will be changed very often? Its located near kalave, Sirsi.

Food: Doesn't have a kitchen. Imported from a near by  hotel. Pathetic. Tastes ok for outsiders but according to my colleague(from Sirsi) its pathetic. We went to hotel Satkar and panchavati and that was ammmmazin.

Transport: Please do not opt for a transport from these guys. He'll offer you omni( Which is his own old car used to transport food and stationaries for his cottage).

I missed the cab driver's cell number but have his email which I got to send his snaps taken along wid us. itzzmyemail@gmail.com. He has an amazing service. Max you cover 200 kms a day. Rs. 1700 for up to 300 KMS/Day( The same will be very expensive if you opt for transport).

Locations: Jog Falls, Unchalli Falls, Banavasi, Tibetian colony, Yana, Gokarna, Dandeli, Jenukal gudda.

Hotels: Hotel Madhuvana. Amazing food and stay for very cheap price. Nothing better than this. Good Transport Facility.
