Sirohi Fort, Sirohi

Sirohi is a distt of Rajasthan state, in ancient time its name was "Sirohi the Princely state". At present maharao Raghubir singh Bahadur is the Rajputana emperor maharaja of this fort. The fort is situated in the heart of the city. Railway station and bus depot Sirohi are located nearby, the main railway station Abu road is 72km away from here and Mt Abu is 78km. The fort is just in the lap of hill range area.

The fort is famous for its old heritage and culture. It seems to be very beautiful old haveli. Fort has its large area and surrounded by nice strong boundaries. There is a beautiful garden is maintained with good greenary. There is a team of staff is working who takes proper care of it guides are also there to help you if required. There are several rooms which are decorated with all old heritage property including battle items, house hold and old wearings like hat, boots, shutes etc. Walls are well decorated with old architecture photoes of maharaja and their amenities. There are nearby some Hindu temples and hill top good scenaries also there to visit. Regularly tourists and visitors used to visit the fort and also nearby other attractive places. R's

Sirohi city is also famous for religious place of jain community. There are a total number of 14 beautiful and well known jain teerth or temples which are situated in and around the city where all the seasons pilgrims and tourists keep visiting to have darashan and blessings of lord sri Adinath Parshvanathji bhagwan. Plenty of hotels and restaurants are there in the city to stay for them in reasonable rates. The people of this place are very simple, good behavior and helping nature. The place is very safe and secure, no unusual things takes place. So the fort is a old Rajputana palace which is famous for its glorious history and royal heritage.
