Showbiz Songs

This movie(SHOWBIZ) was in controversy sometime back due to Mahesh Bhatt not giving due for lyrics for its lyricist, neither he was paid nor he was given any due for it.When he came in media, may be Bhatt talked to him, may be some kind of compromise underwent, anyway later on I am not sure if this movie survived for even one day in any hall.In fact, I thought it was not released, but I later on learnt that it released and flopped.

Anyway, the lyrics curiosity made me listen its album.Most of the songs are sung by KK, One by Shaan and some by Shreya Ghoshal.

KK has sung excellent songs in past and we expect such excellent songs from him in future also, but he is dependent on music director for all this.Lalit Pandit who is brother of Jatin Pandit, is music director of this album.Jatin -Lalit have splitted recently, so Lalit has tried to make this album alone.I wish they were together and could have made a better album.Jatin has excellent taste for music and could have contributed to album hugely, thatswhy it is said that what strength and unity creates, cannot be created alone although geniuses like Rehman are exception.

I only liked one song very much "duniya ne dil toda." by KK very much, but all other songs like'tu jabse mujhe mila hai." or'meri palak ka tu hi sitara.' are average songs.'Meri Ibtada." by Shreya is slightly better.There is only one song by Shaan called'kash ek din aisa bhi aaye." which is also average, but still these average songs sound better than horrible songs of SUNDAY  movie.

I hope Lalit Pandit patches up with bro Jatin and they again create the same magic they created in movies like KHAMOSHI and JO JEETA WAHI SIKANDER.
